Naruto most likely is going to attempt something romantic like embrace her in his arms, kissing forehead, etc. Depending how the scene plays out, Hinata may intervene or just witness from the shadows how romantically close Naruto and Sakura. If it's the well know smoothing attempt trope, Hinata will more likely interrupted them by out "Naruto-koooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon" before their lips connect

Yup, all of this is Infinitely more believable than the "forced down your throat" BS the canon "The Last " gave us. The characters seem very much like how they were personified in the actual manga and the development builds off that and progresses it.
