It aint perfect and im ok with a B+ or 7, some fanboys would say "a movie with the two most iconic super heroes ever should NOT have that low of a score!" well, it really was a movie for comic fans, and when you do that you alienate the everyday average movie goer. i can understand why some would get lost during certain parts. however the character development, depth and heart is there. it asks YOU questions and trusts you to put the pieces together. It doesn't hold your hand or spoon feed you. i smiled, i laughed, i cried, i was pumped during a few scenes, some parts made me think, etc. worst thing a movie can be for me is to be forgettable. this certainly isn't. =)
we live in a world were all people care about is box office numbers and how many critics said something and gloat about them.
then you have people saying "if you like this movie; you're not a comic fan" which is absolutely ridiculous and childish to think. i can like both, why not?
Actually, from what I've seen, it's the comic fans who are actually more upset with how the movie turned out because of how certain story arcs are being rushed out and how it will end up affecting later movies and such.
It's a solid film but I think they tried to force too much into a single film. DC tried to catch up to Marvel and the Avengers with just one film, instead of going slowly and filling in the backstory, and I think that's why the film struggled to the critics.
And that's what I keep saying - this just shows that DC is more concerned with trying to catch up to Marvel and cash in on the superhero film craze. This should have been at least two or even possibly three separate movies to fill in the things they were trying to smash together into a single film. It doesn't help that the other members aren't getting their standalone films until after the Justice League movie either...
