So basically a rehash of the chunin exams but with a generic villain that has Hinata's characterization of a flat static brick.

 

I'd honestly be surprised if it wasn't. But of course that speaks to me either he or SP hired Yahagi back or another good editor to make up the ideas.

You know what's funny. The villain that Sasuke searched for ended up coming to him. So...Sasuke wasted his time? In fact, why care about it? Just leave him alone. Even if you do find him, you'll die alone.

Not really they're just going with the nostalgia factor here thinking people actually give a kitten about Naruto's kid vs Sasuke's kid, but done in the exact same way as before. The only difference is that in the end the kids regardless if they want to or not will be paired up together.

I'm willing to bet other characters won't get focus. I can't say they will be the Sasuke The Last of Boruto but I think Kakashi The Last. Now that Boruto is under Sasuke only, I just expect him training Boruto as the villain will come and go against Sasuke.

That's true. Then I'm willing to bet that Sarada will be an afterthought after Gaiden.

Yes that is correct. But that doesn't mean they are not going to use nostalgia to attract people.

All I can say is that as the true fans of Naruto we hold onto what it used to mean, what brought us all togethere here this day I mean that is one thing Naruto has done for us brought us readers together.

Oh well, the villains are from the threat so at least I don't have to worry about any future sequel....yet.

I'm calling it now. New generation will have very small screen time and Naruto and Sasuke will be the spotlight. Pretty much, Boruto is the third man that will just barge in.

I dare not open that link in fear of what I may see. Could you tell how much importance she'll have from that trailer? It's Pierrot, so I would expect them to heavily embellish the moe brat no matter how distant she is from the core plot of the story, glistening sweat droplets and all.

None. She's there to be the mother that Boruto will get pissed because of Naruto.

I'll tell you my thoughts on the trailer tomorrow, but from what I got, I'm not exactly hyped. It's...eh. I think the problem is that the movie is making it feel like very filler like. The villains are definitely not going to be interesting and Naruto and Sasuke are the main star, as Boruto jumps in to be the successor. It's...generic.

An absent Naruto from his own spawn's party? Sounds like a rehash from the early movie concept of RtN. Well hopefully a brief cameo will be the extent of that wretched girl's screentime.

Yeah, I've come to expect some really, really awful things from Kishi and Pierrot these days, and I don't even follow it anymore.

I do think the movie will be harmless but it won't be that great or good. I feel like the old premise I once had in mind was better. This one seems like one of those movies that wants to put in many things into a feature length film. But I guess time will tell.
