That's also possible. You know for someone who is deified so much, Kaguya's seems to be making an awful lot of errors with flawed techniques. Black Zetsu leading the charge and whispering orders from her sleeve is suspicious enough by itself.
There's nothing suspicious about it in my opinion. Black Zetsu comes across as the voice of reason when Kaguya tries to be too greedy or reckless.

don't worry... it will be a SS cover, Sakura and Sasuke is on the bed. He's watching her so charmingly while she is sleeping, NAKED (BOTH). Naruto... well... he will be just a stalker who is peeking at them from a window and feeling envy. BOOM SS canon definetely!
PS: Inspired from a real scene of Air Gear LOL

Obito doesn't want a threesome with Kakashi, that's why he saved Kakashi because he doesn't want to share Rin with him.
Rin would have just fawned over Kakashi : )

Bleach lately has more sexual undertones than anything Naruto has gone the lengths of. There's the sexy jutsu, but that's played for laughs.
of course, we're still into shounen lands.... If you do wanna see sex scene just see seinen, like gantz LOL
however, seeing how the story has put, i'm sure that the parallel of SS of team minato, KakaRin, would have be canon. In the afterworld, i can imagine a such scene:
Rin: Oh, finally someone is coming in this way!!! GOD, LET IT BE KAKASHI, PLEASE!!!!
A figure with white hairs is slowly approaching her
Rin: *___* T-THANKS GOD! KAKASHIIIII! KYYAAAAAAAAA OH MY GOD!!!111!!!
The figure then appears to be obito
RIN: kitten NO! OBITO NOOOOOOO! GOD I HATE YOU!!!
KakaRin is morally canon

He would be dead anyway.
That's why retribution should come to him, and have him survive, as living would be more of an punishment.

Maybe I'm over thinking it but I am not sure whats up with these panels.
After Sasuke and Naruto dodged Kaguya's attack, why did Kishi show a panel of Sakura and then a panel of the missed attack? It may just be me but that seems out of place. My first reaction was "Is Sakura going to use those bones in the future or something?" I dunno if someone can explain because that Sakura panel seems really random to me lol. There is even speed lines there.
Also probably a mistake but this was interesting
In the first picture she just don't want to watch because Naruto and Sasuke might be stab by Kaguya.
In the second picture I don't know who is the extra character. Maybe a mistake from Kishi or his assistants since Obito was near Sakura at the beginning.

I still don't understand the overanalyzing of an AU cover.
What exactly is it that i'm overanalyzing?
She isn't smiling...

What exactly are you expecting from Hinata?
Good question. What does anyone expect of any character for that matter? Everyone has expected alot from these characters and everyone has been disappointed at least once. Whether it be Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, or any of the characters for that matter have all been expecting something from them and have disappointed those expectations for the sake of plot mechanics
To answer the question. A lot, actually. Ever see a character gain negative development? Yeah. That's Hinata. She is actually worse now than she was in part 1. Now she is just Naruto's tumor sucking the life out of him and she has gotten dumber to boot.
So maybe we all are disappointed one way or another. I just care for this story a lot more beyond the main characters.

Hmm. From where I sit, it seems to me that you're motivated to be "objective" not because you have an open, clear mind about what Kishimoto may or may not be presenting, but because you fear a "bite in the ass later." You fear being wrong so you make sure you're looking for the worst case scenario. Doesn't sound like true objectivity to me.It certainly doesn't make every reader see it as Kishimoto purposely regressing Sakura's development. Many people don't see it that way AT ALL.
Maybe she's flushed because they are racing fast on horses toward a fight? Or toward the unknown? Or maybe he thought it made her look pretty or vibrant? Like I said, not every blush or every detail is a conspiracy. The fact that it can be interpretted multiple ways, and the fact that it's an AU scene that has nothing to do with the manga development, should preclude (or flat out trump) any concerns as to its shipping implications.
Right. Dialogue. He never said he likes to draw misleading panels just to confuse people.
Nevertheless, even if Kishimoto likes to keep things on the ambiguous side he has never contradicted Naruto's love for Sakura, nor has he contradicted any of Sakura's recent growth away from Sasuke and toward Naruto. Her sitting behind Sasuke on a horse with a blush on her face on an AU cover doesn't count.
There are still zero credible barriers to NS.
THIS.

now I think to have figured why she did close her eyes... as you can see from the scan, sakura was behind them... So Naruto and Sasuke, by dodging those rods, has left them to go forward, in the same direction of Sakura. Maybe it's for this that Sakura has closed her eyes, he was afraid that those rods would have reached her. But luckly they stopped themselves before they could reach her.

Ahh! so much feels this chapter! lol and so many different kinds of feels too
I have to give Kishi major props for the way he decided to give Obito his end. It was much more elegant and resolved than I thought possible in this war setting. In this way, there's both closure for Team Minato as a whole and specifically for Obito as well. Thought Kakashi was a goner for sure with the way he was contemplating internally on his "failures", but it was almost endearing that Obito used the excuse of not "letting Kakashi disturb" his and Rin's alone time. Oh gawd, the feels. Though, if I were to be honest, the way that an ethereal Rin just so happens to "pull" them into the line of fire despite the gravity is kind of just plain cheating.
As for what everyone seems to be concentrating on in this chapter - the color cover. Like okay, I'm not gonna lie, I immediately did a frustrated facepalm - couldn't help it. But despite that, I honestly think the AU cover page was merely there as cover art, much the same way Oda (One Piece) does with his color covers. One thing that everyone needs to remember is that manga authors need to worry about how everything looks, in addition to how the story progresses. So aesthetically, for a cover/poster with Team 7 as subjects, it would only be right that Naruto would take the main focus where he would be placed pretty much front and center, and with the angle that he chose, this would need for everyone to be placed behind him so that you can get them in the angle. Not gonna go into too much detail, but basically, with the theme and angle that he chose, there were only so many ways that Kishi could have placed everyone. About Sakura not getting her own horse, it could either be a spacing problem, or it might just be another case of Kishi's unnatural ability to overlook the importance of his female characters. I mean, of course we all want Sakura to be sidled with Naruto , as avid NS shippers, that'll naturally feel much better for us. But if Sakura were to have gotten her own horse, I'm sure Sasuke would have loved to be on the same horse as Naruto anyway.
Also love the way that Naruto thanked Sakura and Obito, and the dig that he sent to Sasuke to remind him that yes, he better thank the two people that he had written off (especially Sakura) for saving him. Scolding Sasuke in the middle of a battle lol Naruto is still Naruto on or off the battlefield. Hmm, a bit of a side note, but I've noticed for a while now that a lot of people have a slight misconception on the usage of suffixes (i.e. -chan, -kun, etc.) in the Japanese culture, but I guess that'll be for another time.
I think its understandable why everyone seems to react the way that we do when anything happens now. That's how we've gotten by with the subtle and unclear hints that Kishi has been giving the fandom for so long, so the way we CSI every chapter is more of a reflex than anything. I just hope everyone can learn when not to take certain "hints" too seriously.
Good chapter overall, the fight is moving along, we skip right past the "SS" catch, and they return right back to where Naruto is. I saw someone mention about how some SS fans say how that SS catch will be like a delayed time bomb and they'll flashback to the supposed SS "moment" later on. I can kinda agree with that, I was thinking along the same vein when I was reading the chapter. However, I was thinking more along the line of how that moment can work as a NS time bomb. I mean she has just as much possibility of just standing back up and saying how they need to get back to Naruto and just as much of nothing really happening at all. Compared to those two, I feel the possibility of an SS moment is smaller.
I'm still a bit conflicted about Obito's character, feels too much like a Draco in Leather Pants for me. I mean, I get that he was a beloved and lost teammate who was led astray and manipulated (he's starting to grow on me), but I still think there are so many things that he has done that can't be simply swept under the rug with the Friendship + Jesus no Jutsu combo. Ah whatever, Bromance no jutsu it is, he's reaching his end anyway.
And oh dear god no, as much as I love Naruto and don't want it to end (and it'll always have a spot in my heart), I think it's a good time for the series to reach its conclusion.
@LadyGT Oh my gosh, your gif sig is just is that from one of the opening themes? I've not been keeping up with the anime for a long while now.
Anyway, long rant over. Back to work.

A poster in NF call sakura as naruto emotional parasite.
Do you agree with that?
An emotional parasite? Hmmmm....well in context maybe, but then I could imply this to everyone. Who hasn't sucked on Naruto's emotions to better comfort themselves or to comfort their own needs? Of course, Naruto really doesn't mind this seeing how he wants to inspire people. So maybe...but at least it has allowed her to better herself. This is unlike Hinata who only makes things worse or gets herself and everyone she supposedly cares about killed.
Of course you also got Sasuke who is the tumor of the entire plot and really needs to be cut out for fear of the growth spreading....See? I really do hate Sasuke. XD
