Okay Plz excuse my french, but are NH and SS fans just stupid?

Are they not watching/read what we read, do they not live in the same world.

I watched the video of that douchy kid summarizing the chapter and he says "seriously, why would Naruto just treat Hinata like that after what just happened" WTF does that even mean. What is Naruto supposed to do....HE LOVES SAKURA!!!! He says it in the first few chapter, my god. Nothing romantic ever happened, OHHHHHHHHH and that kid goes on to say that Hinata is like Minato, how on earth is that possible. Minato is strong, brave, (both from the get go) oh and hes an actual character....thats right im not holding anything back.

Yo! Okay. I've been lurking around for awhile and I just wanted to throw a few things out there. I was browsing NF to look at the other side of the argument for 631 and came across some "interesting" quotes on the pairing forums.

here's what I think, seems to me like Naruto wanted to lighten up the mood between him and Sakura. ever since her fake confession and throughout the few times he saw her in this war she's been sad and ashamed and awkward and stressed and worried around him, so he said that because he wanted her to hit him and go back to the way they used to be before the failfession. he also didn't have the time or know how to explain to his dad about his complicated relationship with Sakura.. so he went along with the GF thingy.

I also think that he's on the road of moving on and falling for Hinata. it's just being loved is too new to him and he still doesn't know how to react to it or define it. he's childlike, clueless and slow. Hinata has her work cut out for her alright. XD

Honestly it's a giant stab straight to the zombie back but they don't notice it. Naruto after he was healed went straight to Sasuke and they fell into the old Team 7 routine of the two of them doing the fighting while Sakura stayed in the background. Not much respect and confidence in his "girlfriend" after all the time and development they went though during shippuden. He had to be told off by Sakura not to be writing off as some weakling.

Compare how Naruto treated both girls recently when it came time to fighting against the ten tails. He grabs one of the girl's hand and together they stand in front of the entire alliance ready to lead the counter attack. The other girl he thanks for contribution but then tells her to take a rest while he and the others go to fight. Which one is he treating as an equal and partner compared to the other as just another teammate on the battlefield?

NS thinks its impossible for a boy and a girl to be friends, even if they have never had any sort of romantic development whatsover for 600 chapters. Even if the girl still loves the other guy. Even if the main guy barely thinks of this girl (in a romantic and serious way) anymore.

Sakura indeed is similar to Kushina, nothing new with that. Okay, Minato stated this officialy, but did he ever say Naruto is like him? NOPE!
And when you think about it you see Minato doesn't even know his own son. I mean, they're meeting each other for the "first" time since he probably didn't get the memory of Chakra!Minato.

And I guess NS must have ignored Sakura's reactions to Sasuke if she's still not romantically interested in Naruto this late in the manga, then how is this pairing supposed to happen ?

IKR? I just think Kishi is bullying NS in the cruelest way possible. Just think about these so-called poofs of NS, especially the forehead comment which is obviously the most important thing that has ever happened to Sakura! ... It's just sad how something like this can actually be interpreted as an implication of a pairing happening. Just... I feel really sorry for everyone who actually thinks Kishi is being so serious.

If he wants to troll Ns and wants to make Nh or Ss canon, why didnt he develope it when he got the time for it and just confirmed a parallel that cant be dismissed?

Eh... I'm not going to respond to each of those quotes individually because there's no need to (and I have to finish my HW ), but I think the thing all those posters have in common are that they're looking at the facts and trying to bend them to support NH/anti-NS. It really does remind me of the people saying that Minato meant "a friend that is a girl" instead of "a lover." In reality, Minato asked Naruto if he and Sakura were in a romantic relationship, Naruto answered yes but was hesitant knowing it was a bit complicated, which led to a flustered/frustrated Sakura punishing Naruto for his big mouth. But some people can't accept the fact that Sakura is the only character Naruto has any romantic interest in, so they try to pass it off as comic-relief, and trying to "lighten the mood," whatever the hell that means.

Some good posts relating to this I found on Tumblr; 1.) Why are Sakura's punches/hits abusive, while this scene was only important for comedic purposes? Seems like a double standard to me. 2.) Even if the girlfriend scene was only put in for comedy, the last page where Naruto smiles fondly at Sakura definitely wasn't meant to be funny. Without a doubt, that was a serious NS moment.

Also, those posters are really underestimating the importance/power of parallels in this manga. If they actually noticed how many of them there are, maybe they would realize having the largest canon pairing (MinaKushi) on your side is a big plus. The "find someone like your mother" line just became 2x more important to NS this week.

And I'm just sick of the SS reaction. She looked at him in surprise. Sasuke didn't even spare her a second glance! It really speaks for the condition of SasuSaku when the two characters looking at each other is considered a romantic moment. There's just nothing there. I think Kishi could have done a lot more with those two, but he didn't. Even in the ending, Sakura wanted to prove herself and wanted Naruto's acknowledgement. She was talking to Naruto, not Sasuke. Naruto smiled fondly at Sakura, not Hinata. And then I just see more double standards. So apparently the hero's feelings will randomly change, but the girl who has mixed feelings won't? Yeah...right.

The bottom line is that Naruto and Sakura are as close as ever, Hinata is nowhere in sight, and Sasuke couldn't care less. NS isn't canon yet, but I can feel it coming.

YEA! Naruto told Sakura to stay back for her safety, Sakura came and told him no, she gave him a look and Naruto gave a great one back.

Question did Sakura react in any special way when Sasuke arrived? Other then being shocked, I mean wouldnt be shocked.

And Sasuke now trying to take Naruto's goal, whats next his girl? LOLOLOL I'm fine with that cause it gives Sakura a chance to tell Sasuke to go F*uck himself, but that wont happen either cause Sasuke does not/has not/will not love Sakura.

You know what's funny, when Minato saw the "abusive" part of NaruSaku, he smiled because it reminded of him and Kushina, which that means MinaKushi had an "abusive" relationship. Gotta love Kushina with her fist raising hell. Minato must went through rough time in a good way. Lol. I can't help but laugh at how Sakura headbutt Naruto. That's class.

I don't understand why they are mad at him! He just confirmed again for the 1000th time that he's in love with Sakura.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, has ever stated that he doesn't feel that way about her anymore, even after the Sakura confession, he crearly says that he doesn't intend to give up yet, and until now, we have the proof.
The NaruHina fans can say what they want, but the manga is about Naruto and his journey to achieve his dreams.
The moment in 615 was just part of Hinata's development, she wanted to hold his hand and being useful for once? There you go, done.
But she also said that she would stop chasing after him once the war would be over, so it clearly implies that she knows she is not the one naruto loves.

Naruhina fans have always relyed their theories and proofs only on Hinata's one sided love for naruto, but that's not how it works.
What has come so far from Naruto's side regarding Hinata are just observations and compliments on how she became stronger and thanking her for reminding him that he's not alone in this fight.

They can't pretend that he should fall for her just because she deserves it. Nope that's not the way you do it.
Plus one more thing, they always said that the MK/NS parallel is insignificant and doesn't count, telling us that we are taking it too seriously and stuff.. Well guess what? Apparently it does count, and Kishimoto confirmed it.

I do believe that most of the NH fans are starting to realize that long asses essays on over analyzing the same 6-8 panels to make them believe the pairing is going to happen is just a waste of time.

The last chapter confirmed it.

As for the next ones, I'm expecting a SS interaction (like the one in the Dragon Quest manga) but I'm 300% that NS will end Canon.

Most, if not all, of these arguments are weak, and several previous post mention why. But what I found interesting was the final post, about how that person feels sorry for us as our proof is important. We are just simply seeing it the way we want it to, which is what we call a lot of Naruhina fan's evidence. I just find it interesting that one pairing will think the same way about the other, and makes me wonder which one is right. Is it them that twists the events in the manga to fit their own personal wants manifest in the story, is it us that twist the so-called logic to make it fit our own personally desires in a story that has no consequence on our lives....

We are fan of pairing just like them, more or less.
But we are lucky that it's naruto who chose sakura as a love interest since chapter 3.
In shonen jump if a main male character love a main female character than it mean canon.

I've never debated pairings with a NH or SS fan before, but I think I'll take a crack at these.

First of all Snow Princess is contradicting his/herself by saying that Naruto only said to lighten things up between him and Sakura and that he didn't have time to explain so he went with it. Minato asked a simple yes or no question he could've just said no.

Second, I'm trying to think when was the last time Naruto saw Sakura ashamed, stressed, awkward & worried, when she arrived at the battlefield with rest of the alliance,
was she ashamed, no.
was she awkward? no she went strait to heal Kakashi,
was she stressed? possible but they're on a battlefield starring down the most power creature in the world I'd be stressed to,
was she worried? see above.
okay back a little further, when his' clone arrived at the Medical tent? no, when she informed him that Tsunade woke up? no, oh yeah I remember now it was after the first Team Seven reunion in the Land of Iron, which was the very same day as the "failfession".

In Naruto's defense they are going up against the most powerful creature in the world, plus he knows that he has Kurama and Sasuke has always been at least as strong as he was, while the last time he saw Sakura in action against a strong opponent was during the second bell test (remember he and Kakashi were chasing Deidara during the Sasori fight).

I don't remember Kiba ever showing interest in Hinata and I fail to see what KibaHina has to do with this .

First Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi and in this chapter Sakura have all commented on how similar Naruto and Minato are.

Second if Minato didn't have the memories of his chakra then how did he recognize Naruto's chakra? I'm pretty sure he had other things on his mind before he died, was he like "Oh I'm about to seal myself into the shinigami's stomach for all eternity, I better take this chance to memorize my minutes old son's chakra in case some pedophile releases me and revives me with Edo Tensei" because if he did then Minato makes Batman look like a grade schooler, also while Naruto was using Kurama's chakra at the time, if Minato did not have those memories then for all he new Naruto was could've been killed and Kurama was sealed into someone else.

Sakura's reaction? you mean saying his name while in a state of shock? that's considered romantic now? who knew.
