I cannot edit Manga Panel yet. there is some spanish in the panel but I sure you goys know does chapters by heart.

This is not character or fan bashing, the question is how there is still a SS.

It's very well put together, I must say. Did you make it? I like it a lot. I agree with everything that is stated in the video.

It would be posted in the debate thread so here. The AMV thread is for NaruSaku music videos.

Debate/Rant videos have been posted in the AMV thread prior to this. This site doesn't have an official thread for pairing rants and debate videos, as far as I know, so posting it in a folder with other videos is alright for the sake of organization and cataloging. A couple months from now, if someone wants to watch a certain video, but doesn't remember who posted or what it's called, I doubt they'll find it easily on this massive Debate Thread.

Though, of course, since donjoseph is looking for opinions on this particular video, posting it on the Debate Thread is probably better in this case.

@donjoseph: That was a well-made video! I liked Sakura's random thoughts at the beginning. LOL...Sakura thinking of vampire Sasuke.

As for the argument, I guess I agree that it's hard to imagine Sasu/Saku happening with all the negative development the pairing has had. Other than two or three scenes in Part I, I can't really think of too many times Kishi was trying to show the pairing in a positive light. I'm not sure what the appeal really is, but I guess I've never been that good at picking up on romantic hints and subtleties in these shounen stories. I guess it could be that female readers root for the heroine to get with the most attractive male character, in their opinion, since I'm guessing we've got plenty of fans on our side (and probably on Naru/Hina's side too) shipping for that same reason.

Hmm, it might be a pretty interesting psychological question as to the reason why people become attached to a certain ship in the first place. I'd say vicariousness plays a role with a lot of fans (in every fandom), but I'm not sure how prevalent it is, or, in this case, which shipping fandoms have more fans shipping for that reason.

LOL, I think I really went off on a tangent there. Feel free to ignore me and discuss other parts of the video if you want.

You know, the one thing about Sasusaku that irks me is that if it is canon, where does Naruto go after this (and don't say Hinata)? I mean, he deserves to be happy with the woman he loves, but well there's the whole he thinks that if Sasuke is sane again, maybe he can make sure that Sakura is happy again, with the person that he thinks that she should be happy with.

Of course, with that in mind and that if that is the case, then Sakura will eventually gently drop any and all "romantic" feelings of Sasuke, if she hasn't already, and of course, pick Naruto (because she knows that he's probably the only one that can make her truly happy), because there's nothing more in the world that would make him happier, other than being Hokage and eating all the ramen in the world, than being with Sakura.

I just think that if there is a chance that Sasusaku is canon, its only because of Naruto and his willingness to give up his happiness to make sure that Sakura is happy.

If she really love him why after so many chapter we havent seen a good reason that expline her love. I don't tink I'm missing something

Edit: Sometimes I question the fact if people forget that the series is called "Naruto". Hinata is and always will be a secondary/background character. She has no relevance to the plot whatsoever. I think the argument "Naruto will finally relize he loves Hinata when Sasusaku is canon" is very absurd. This story Kishimoto is telling us is about Naruto and acheiving everything he's wanted/to become hokage/to erase all of the hatred in Sasuke/ to change the ninja system/to win the love of the girl of his dreams etc.

I know and we told them this, and they respond with something like "Hinata is the main character!" XD I mean come on people, even a death/blind man is probably getting this by now (not actually death and blind but you know what I'm saying). I think NS vs SS/NH is like us beating a dead horse (when it comes to making sense happening)...

All righty, then everyone, if you have two choices which one would you guys pick? To erase all of the hatred in Sasuke or to win the love of the girl of his dreams? Whatever you pick, the other can't happen to prevent being a cliche. Hypothetically, of course.

The only way NaruSaku does not happen if Naruto tell Sakura that he have a change of heart
and he love another person but after 457 and 504 I really cannot see that.

Sakura know Naruto will do anything including sacrify his love to see her happy
I really don't see Sakura goin to Sasuke at the end, only if Naruto ask her to be with him.

Knowing Naruto, though, he'd pick Sasuke before he picked Sakura - cause if he saved Sasuke then Sakura would be happy. Well, at least thats what he thinks. I'm still iffy about that.

Yep, and whenever she was around Naruto, she would always be her natural self, whereas with Sasuke she was masking who she really was. For her to fall in love with Sasuke in the end and not realise that Naruto was the one all along... that would completely destroy her character, and all that development for 500+ chapters would go to waste. It would be a shame if that happens.

It's not necessarily like that all the time.

But anyways, I think Naruto's first priority would be saving Sasuke. It's a very difficult decision, even for myself deciding now, but this is what I feel would happen, since Sasuke was one of Naruto's first true bonds [besides Iruka].

Well in a way, Rocket is right. But you're right too. He can save Sasuke + get the girl, but it may cause a death for someone in the process. But that's another topic and not for this one.... coughtsasukecough

Well, I don't see how Sakura can live with the fact of dating Sasuke and not Naruto. Sasuke doesn't love Sakura, and never will, he isn't the type of character to ever love, even if he did stop his acts of revenge. Sasuke will probably still have that cool guy expression as he did on in his younger days if he is to live. If Sakura picks Sasuke, she is undeveloped, but if she picks Naruto, she is developed, and thats the point Kishi is making out of Sakura. Did you ever think of that? No need to worry dear friend.
