Holy crap, I actually kinda like Narukarin & NaruIno. Y u know my preference?

Say what?! You're telling me that you got away after making such an obvious claim? I'm just suprised the NH fandom didn't crucify after uttering such words. You're lucky, do you know that?

I actually really like NaruIno, I don't know why exactly but its just... nice, maybe it's because of to much fan fiction that I like it.

Well, to everyone being grumpy-pants about Luffy, there comes a time when we need to stop talking about the positive, obvious aspects of this pairing.

For example, let's take parallels. The only confirmed, not implied, one is Obito/Naruto. Does that branch out to NaruSaku/ObiRin? Are parallels just coincidences, and fabricated from our own longing for this pairing to happen?

Parrallels are defenitly not coincidence. You could say that if there where only one, but thats not the case.

I like NaruIno and NaruKarin as well. NaruHina just irks me. It's so unbearable I can't even. I think my preference towards those pairings stems from my preference for NaruSak; all of those girls can knock Naruto on his ass. Tsundere archetypes ftw.

It's not even the fact that NH has a chance of becoming canon that rustles my jimmies. It's so one-sided, it's awkward.

That actually makes perfect sense. Never thought about it like that. Good stuff.

You know, I've gotten into an argument with this NH fan a couple of years ago that lasted a few days. I mean we were just cursing each other out to no end. It was truly embarrassing and everyone was laughing at us. His last resort to support NH was along the lines of: NH should happen because Hinata deserves to be with her man. She's just so innocent, pure, caring, perfect, strong, and kawaii desu.

I didn't know much how to debate back then as I've mentioned the argument consisted of cursing. So when he said that to me I admitted defeat.

There's three reasons I want NaruSaku to become canon:

One, because it's a stellar pairing, and it's just...blah. It's good kitten.

Two, though this may be arguable, but it fits with the manga. The parallels, the foreshadowing, the themes; it's all connected.

Three, the rage of every other fandom this manga has to offer. I feel like we're against the world, and just the fact that we, out of all pairings, became canon, would be hilarious.

Perfect comedy indeed. If Kishi pulls a RtN, I'm going to weep tears of joy and puke rainbows.

Word up. The bolded - just icing on the cake. xD

About the parallels - I agree with PhenixElite, they're definitely not a coincidence. Maybe if it was just one instance of a parallel, but because there are so many, and that Kishi actually makes these parallels himself (like the Sannin and Team Seven, they're mentor and pupil, etc.), we're not just pulling stuff out of our ass, lol.

If I remember correctly, the reason why I admitted defeat was because the thought of Hinata not getting with her man would cause her to lose her sanity (yandere switch). Because apparently, Naruto is pretty much her life, her rolemodel, and her energy drink. She'd pull another Tobito if Naruto rejected her. I wonder how her mask would look?

I really don't understand why. This site was created as a place for people to support NS. If we wanted to dwell on and talk about the negative, uncertain aspects that exist we could go just about anywhere else in the fandom.

It does get pretty dull going over the same shipping stuff in the absence of anything fresh, but is the only alternative to be negative and resort to questioning the reading comprehension and integrity of anyone who chooses to be positive on a site that invites you to be positive? Really?

Chatte, you're my girl and all and I respect you, but you gotta understand how this site works. Like you stated, in the end Kishi did cash in big by putting NH & SS as the poster of the pairings, and while that is true, the movie is definitely centered around NS. But, this site was in an uproar upon the release of the official trailer, and they only started to celebrate months after the spoilers came to light and it was the NH & SS fandom in an uproar. It's the role reversal game that both NS & NH/SS love to play.

I understand from where you're coming, again.
But still, let's be honest, NS is nothing like NH/SS.
I've walked this path my own and that's why I say it out and "loud" and NS is not like NH and SS.
Yes, we ll may have the reaction and disappointment which belongs to every fandom, but overall, NS is not like the others.
At least I didn't saw this fandom to rub it in the face of the other fandom that NS is so cannon and here I mean the real fans, not the ones who like it because they need to rub something in the face of the opponent.

In this case, you're responsible for the impression you've left on me. I feel as though it was the fact that I brushed off your beautiful and well thought-out NS post by simply replying like so - "That's nice, it really is." Sure, fandom can sometimes be overwhelming but at times like this we should be fanboy/fangirling about the pairs we love not sulking under the pressure.

Whenever I say I like NejiHina I get rushed by NH fans calling me incest loving freak with comments like "Omg, Neji and Hinata are half-siblings! That's gross!" and "Ew incest!" etc etc. And while I can blatantly prove them they are wrong (about them being siblings), I choose not to because it's not worth it - unless someone asks me of course ( and not out of spite either. I mean I answer people who are innocently curious, not trying to attack my ships).

Same with when I say I like LeeTen or ShinoTen, I get lectures that I just shrug at about how Tenten belongs with Neji and how she likes Neji and it's stupid because Lee likes Sakura or that Shino and Tenten have never spoken and is weird. Well, I could prove them wrong about Tenten>Neji but same with NejiHina, I choose not to. Not my responsibility.

ChouIno's probably the more 'decent' of my ships I guess. If you like ChouIno it's almost like people instantly assume it's my sideship for ShikaTema. It's always funny when I explain to people that I'm not a ShikaTema fan and they're like O_O but that's about all I ever say.

Point is, no human being on this earth can tell me I'm wrong for liking anything (and I wouldn't do that to anyone else). I may not like NaruHina, or SasuSaku, or KibaHina but I would never tell anyone their ship is wrong.

None of these ships are wrong. While SasuSaku has a lot of suggestive messages behind it, I will not say they're wrong for shipping it. It's a girlish hope and love - some people like that stuff. That's fine. Had this been another series, I might not have minded the two.

NaruHina is the one I dislike the most of all but some people think it's cute. It's all good. I'm not about to go on and on about how NaruSaku is better because I already know how I feel about NS and it's not my job to convince ANYONE to convert to anything. It's a choice to like something or not.

I may have digressed here but my main point is just that there's nothing wrong with liking NaruSaku! There's NOTHING wrong with liking anything.

It's only wrong when we let the world convince us it's wrong.

If you believe NS will be canon, flourish in it. Do not wilt.

Btw, guys, this is my first year reading the manga, before I used to watch the anime because I didn't exactly knew about stuff like manga, anime inspired from manga etc.
The manga will go on a break on Christmas and New Year?
I know it's logical and a silly question, however, I just felt like asking. ^^
