Know what I find really funny? 

 

"Naruto only liked Sakura because of his rivalry with Sasuke"

 

Even NH/SS fans did not came up with this level of bs. The majority of them always acknowledged that Naruto genuinely liked or had a crush on Sakura. But this sort of retconning....

 

What does this tell you about Kishimoto ?..

Lol. This is clearly why you can't have romance in shounen. Naruto wins for kittentiest shoujo movie ever.

If the reason Naruto likes Sakura is due to his rivalry with Sasuke, why would he promise her to bring him back? Didn't he do that because his love for her was sincere, even if he was just a young child then? No one would do that because of a rivalry.

That would be great. The last minute after all the NH and SS wedding and family moments. The scene switches back to Part 2 still at the VoTE with everyone still under the genjutsu and a big caption will state "To be concluded this coming spring!"

So they're gonna try and prove that Sasuke wasn't a despicable douche to Sakura throughout the years? Lol, they're gonna need to explain those murder attempts, because that's a huge reality check for any kitten Ss moment, they'll try to make up.
