Now then onto my favorite part of the chapter
Not once did Nami falter or show signs of wanting to run away during this fight. I'm not sure how long she's been with Luffy but I'm guessing she's been helping him for at least a good majority of the fight, and that's 11 hours! I think it's safe to say that this is the biggest fight Nami has been a part of, and despite the severe threat, their enemy poses this navigator still had tons of sass and determination. Even Luffy was like "Woman what are you saying?!" when she declared that he could keep going. I know LuNa naysayers will be up in arms about this scene meaning nothing, but for me, LuNa goodness is about their bond, and right here Nami showed unwavering trust in Luffy when even he himself had doubts. She provided not just combat support, but morale boosting confidence too
