I have a feelings that whoever wrote this gaiden purposely trying to avoid naruto and sakura interact, because if they interact theres no way is not going to be a romantic way. Isn't it weird the story is supose to be a bond of team 7, remember kazegake rescue arc lady chiyo said only 1 medic ninja who is better than her and can help kankuro [he got poisoned by sasori] the only way to save him is to bring her here, but the sand ninja reply she is a hokage and can't leave the vilage without good reason. LOL thats live and death situation. And look... naruto leave vilage just because sasuke ask him. He didn't bother visiting sakura in hospital she still inside vilage and he didn't bother. There's no way shizune didn't told him, she knows sakura is close to naruto and one member of team 7.
Lol i remember hanamichi using kakashi's thausand years of pain technique on taoka coach, and the most funny is gori [akagi] told hanamichi to sit down.
I still don't and forever cannot understand why...why kishi choose sakura to do this, why kishi decide to write this panel, he said [through VA interview] that NH and SS was planning from the beginning but instead developing them right away he still purposely develop NS the pairing to he claim to be red herring and not meant to end together, instead of making hinata trip over a "Rock" he can just make hinata be the one doing the CPR, why did he said he was purposely misleading his fans his own reader his own suporter, doesn't he knows it hurt like hell. He plays with peoples feelings for what?... Is he write this because in the past he has Ex girlfriend or some girl that he likes resemble sakura but she choose another guy and he write this to make that girl realize his feelings and now destroying sakura character because he still thinks this girl and hate her?
Because it's complete BS, He said in his earlier interviews how he felt sorry for Hinata so he had to choose her (Sounds like he was pressured into doing this) so he had to decide what to do with Sakura so thought maybe with Sasuke would work.
This is not something that was planned from the beginning, but the execs that had pushed the decision are likely pressuring him and even the VA's to say these things.
I know there is allot of hate geared towards Kishi, from myself included, but I don't think the final decision to end with SS and NH was his, but from pressure of execs from SWJ and SP worried about the gap in revenue that the loss of Naruto would create, and pushed for the pairings in a hope to generate more cash from the foreign markets which is primarily NH and SS, and then cash in on the next gen with the Kids of NH/SS to try to cash in for the fanbase that were let down.
Naruto is the biggest manga/anime export SWJ has, the loss of that revenue stream could have been enough to put pressure on the Mangaka to continue the series one way or another. I think the fact that even Dragonball Z is getting a new series suggests the execs at SWJ are worried about the loss of Naruto and are looking at old popular series to fill that gap...let's face it the likes of Food War are not going to ever be as popular as Naruto or Dragonball

He said that he never intended NH ever and never planned to write that story. He said that the staff of SP suggested the ending to revolve around NH at the Jump Festa. SWJ made Kishi sacrifice his homebase fandom for the sake of the west.

They are, but not that much like let's say, SAO. It most likely have haters of those who are tired with the length and not closing the chapter metaphorically speaking, so it's like "Screw it..." SAO is known for split decision.

Thanks.
You know, many people has said that WSJ exec don't seem that confident with the newer series, even though it's hard to say because of no anime and all, but perhaps the rising success from Kodansha Shounen series is scaring them a bit. They got sports but they need a new battle series, which they are pushing Black Clover, BnHA, and I think UBS or was it USB. They need a new successor. But now they're going circle with once again DB. But we'll see.
I started a thread back in October before Naruto ended, asking if the popularity of Manga/Anime for a new generation will decline with the end of Naruto, as there are no longer new manga's on the horizon that are uiniversally accepted, allot of new manga's and anime focus on echi and dark themes to appeal to the Otaku market.
There is no new Naruto out there, and no matter what we think about the end, the manga played a big part in the past decade to keep anga/Anime in the mainstream specially in the west. And there has been nothing new to take it's place. And the worst thing is, the ending itself was so bad, fans like myself are less likely to go out to look for new manga's that might takes it's place.
Now you look at it, and there is nothing new, If this is because SWJ were unwlling to invest in a new idea that didn't rely on sex or/and gory violence to sell, or just the lack of talent out there I don't know. But if they don't find a new IP that can have a mass appeal and attract new blood, I can see the Manga and Anime (specially manga) industry really strugglings in a few years and the entire industry could see a large decline like it did with the gaming industry there, or like the gaming industry they could become focused on the local market and the international market will become extrememly niche.
We;ve started seeing a bigger shift with animes adapting more LN's instead of Manga series over the past few years and I see this trend continuing, if you look at the recent popular anime series, with the exception of a few most are based on LN series, as unlike manga series there is allot more variety there, though even that industry has started seeing less originality and more clones recently

plus that scene just clearly show how intense Sakura's "feelings" are for Naruto.
and then what? she forgot him at the drop of a hat?
So true. Her feelings for Naruto were like her nose on her face. Too obvious.

Kishi is straight up lying that he planned Naruhina and SasuSaku. Did he also say he didn't know how he got SS together? If so than that shows what kind of writer he is.
How can Kishimoto have planned NH/SS "from the start" when he said he considered putting Sakura with Naruto and he had no idea how Sasuke and Sakura got together? He is such a liar lol.

I disagree
AOT is not a WSJ manga but it's pretty famous in the west, the popularity it got was pretty amazing, I mean the first volume is still on NY trending manga sales after several and several weeks

You would think that but really, Uchiha and revenge plot must be resurface more than zillion times.I would have gladly took anyone else as villains besides for freaking Uchihas. If you wanted a powerful clan to be antagonists for Gaiden, what about Hyugas? At least with that clan you could tie in Bolt
