@unhskikrforever:
Naruto: "Oh, Hinata! Here's that scarf you lost."
Hinata: "... Huh?"
Naruto: *gives her the scarf* "When you got kidnapped, remember? I mean it's a little ripped and everything, but it's definitely yours!"
Hinata: *looks upset* Oh ... uh ..."
Naruto: (cheerfully) "It's funny. It kind reminds me of an old one I used to have, but ... *finally notices Hinata looking more and more depressed* ... Hinata?"

Guys I'm going to say this one last time. The movie will give Hinata her closure, she will accept that Naruto doesn't love her and by giving him that scarf she won't having any more regrets from her childhood. And she's will be able to move on with her life and this time she's value her relationship with Hanabi.
NaruSaku will be declared canon in either chapter 699 or 700, most likely 700. Period.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

If so, we all know its bull. But it's more than a little obvious that good marketing is taking place. They wouldnt in their right minds succinctly reveal the final ship before the end of the manga and in trailers for a movie. All is not as SP would have it appear.

honestly, if NH does wind up canon, then im not gonna watch the movie..it's just too stupid for me

I'd probably think its kinda sweet because, thats some serious devotion. But later, I'd really have to think about it, because people normally don't do stuff like that......Honestly a little creeped out, not gonna lie, even if we were friends.
I mean I'm sure it's cute in anime/manga, but in real-life it's a little weird.

As much as we care about the romance, how much does Kishi really care about the development is what needs to be asked.

I guess since most of us are confident Narusaku is endgame now.
the next problem is.....are we gonna get some good Narusaku moments in the movie!? T^T or is it mostly gonna be HInata moments with Naruto?
Cause if Naruto and Sakura are a couple then Naruto better be treating her like she's the only girl he loves!! in other words LIKE A QUEEN!! >:U

I was on tumblr and saw this
Isn't this true? In the trailer they used specific quotes for specific scenes too... When AU Hinata was threatening Naruto she was actually saying "Why are you covering for her?!" to Naruto/Sakura instead of "I'll kill you!" to just Naruto. Same goes for AU Sasuke. The line he said in the trailer "Is there something wrong with being in my own village?" was actually to Naruto instead of Sakura. What he said to Sakura was sweet, but not too long after that he was exposed as a playboy telling all the girls that LOL.
Ima die laughing if this is the case.
we all know how that turned out lol. a lot of people felt dumb that day.

Guys, is this true?
i’m actually scared of chapter 700.. apparently it’s set 6 years after the war like… i’m scared and worried and afraid of what the kitten will happen
the movie is set inbetween chapter 699 and chapter 700. the last takes place like 3 or 2 years after the war / chapter 699, while chapter 700 is set 6 years after the war / chapter 699 (and set about 3 years after the last)

You don't have to tell me again. I have believed from the beginning that this film represented a nod to Hinata's fans and to her final growth as a character, something Kishimoto couldn't do in the manga without spoiling the final pairing before the end.
Kishimoto has let Hinata languish throughout the story, finally tripping and falling, unable to reach Naruto while Sakura is at his side and saves his life. It could not have been more symbolic that while her heart might be in the right place, Hinata would never be at Naruto's side and was not meant to be there. Since then she has been completely off-page, trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi like the rest of the non-essential characters.
However, to have spelled that out until the very end would have given away Kishimoto's intentions. But Hinata will get a movie to resolve her feelings and issues.
That's my opinion, anyway.

I think, like you have shown, the marketing is being deceptive. But I don't think it will be a 180 difference from trailer to movie as this was. I think Hinata's feeling will definitely be addressed and she will play a large role. But I still don't NH happening.

If only I could like this post :( but that's a good theory!
Sakura's new styled bangs because Naruto told her how charming it was and she realized in that moment, that back then, it was Naruto!
if some chapters are coming back full circle, then chapter 3 must come into play as well :) I don't believe he would end the manga without revisiting that scene :)

I didn't say it was scary. The one who wrote it say so. I want to know if the chapter 700 will be 3 years after The Last.

Didn't Kishi's assistent mentioned in one of this tweets that Naruto stopped chasing after Sakura after the pain arc? :/ I mean he knows the ending, so if NS is end game, why would he say something like that? Weird.
I'm just dreading my post series ending mourning. It's going to be a b*tch.

Anyway, since some of you are talking about stats,I think Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura have all surpassed their Sannin masters rather clearly and would all score 37 in total in the fourth data book.
Naruto
Ninjutsu: 4 > 5
Taijutsu: 3.5 > 5
Genjutsu: 2 > 3
Intelligence: 3 > 3.5
Strength: 3.5 > 5
Speed: 3.5 > 5
Stamina: 5
Hand seals: 1.5 > 5
Total: 26 > 37
I find it difficult to believe that Base Naruto's hand seal speed would skyrocket to a perfect 5 when his fighting style and characterisation has always emphasised physical perseverance with as little memorisation and technical knowledge as possible. Minato is a seals expert who proved himself to be capable of using the rare gift of one-handed signs. Kakashi could weave dozens of hand movements in seconds. Itachi's are so fast that the Sharingan couldn't follow him. Naruto isn't like these people, however. Jiraiya made note of this when he explained how the lack of a need to formulate any complicated seals for Rasengan was an advantage to him.
A minor improvement to a whole number of 2 sounds reasonable for Naruto.
Genjutsu might be a little too high as well. It was always Naruto's weakest area after hand seals because it requires a specialised knowledge and understanding of principals related to illusions and probably the effects it has on the human senses. Chakra control is directly linked to the usage of genjutsu, but under the parameters of the Databook, it's only one part (albeit a sizable one) of a larger equation. Even Jiraiya admitted to not being all that adept at casting illusions. But his words imply that he has some minor knowledge of how to cast them, whereas Naruto outright admitted in the Pain arc that he didn't know any genjutsu period.
I would give Naruto an average score of 2.5. It's one of those things where I'm guessing the sensei will always maintain a lead over their student, in my opinion.
Sakura
Ninjutsu: 3 > 5
Taijutsu: 3 > 5
Genjutsu: 3.5 > 3.5
Intelligence: 4 > 5
Strength: 3 > 5
Speed: 3 > 4
Stamina: 4 > 4.5
Hand seals: 4 > 5
Tota: 26 > 37
How did Sakura go from a 3 to a perfect 5 in taijutsu? She's hardly even fought since the battle with Sasori and there's nothing proving that her hand to hand skills have improved that drastically. Ninjutsu and stamina also seem a bit too high (it's a higher score than Tsunade's stamina level). Some of these fields aren't even directly relevant in their fighting styles. Any increase that doesn't see proof in the manga is usually for the principle's sake of growth.
Sasuke
Ninjutsu: 5 > 5
Taijutsu: 3.5 > 5
Genjutsu: 4 > 5
Intelligence: 3.5 > 4
Strength: 3.5 > 4
Speed: 4 > 5
Stamina: 3.5 > 5
Hand seals: 4 > 4
Total: 31.5 > 37
[/spoiler]
I agree with Sasuke's stats for the most part. The only changes I would make would be to stamina and taijutsu. He's shown very little in the way of improvement in basic hand to hand skills outside of this recent fight with Naruto. Although that speaks more for Naruto because he was going toe to toe with the Sharingan's precognition while successfully landing attacks (a sharp contrast to their first fight in Part 1 where Sasuke had the advantage in taijutsu, even when Kurama's chakra was increasing Naruto's strength in 0TK).
Itachi had a 4.5 in taijutsu and he successfully held off the same onslaught from Bee's swords which knocked Sasuke on his butt. An advanced scoring like that seems decent for someone who doesn't specialise in that field.
