thing is people allready chose sides. There aren't any doubts and here I refer to all 3 pairings. I think NS will be canon and no one can convince me otherwise. Same can be said for other NH and SS shippers.

 

It's ok to defend your preferred pairing and to stick with it to the very end. What bugs me is that some fans simply chose to ignore facts. I'm not even talking about NaruSaku as whole, I'm talking about clear facts that happened in the manga and fans try to distort and purposely misinterpret them to benefit their own point view and claim others are idiots for not agreeing with them.

 

Sakura hitting Naruto is one example. It's more than obvious that's for comic reasons because you can see her doing it whenever he does something stupid, not to mention it's present in almost all kinds of mangas I have ever read. I'm not even gonna talk about the Tsundere behavior.

Despite that, people claim that Sakura is brute, selfish, and say that because or her aggression Naruto most likely doesn't like her anymore. Worse than that, they like to bash the character just because she is in the way of their preferred choice.

 

Another example is 631. Some people rather want to interpret Naruto's quote as a joke. A JOKE to his zombie father that he might never see again... in the middle of a WAR. 

 

My point is, it's ok to say: "Ok, that happened but my pairing is still good because of this, this and that."

But that's not what I see on the internet, I only stumble across: "No, what happened is that, you are a moron, my pairing is 100% garanteed, read the damn manga."

I don't really know why kishi have to give the females so much handicap. Take Tsunade for example, easily the most capable female in the series plus the senju bloodline, but still the weakest link of the sannin and was trashed by the kid kabuto because of her fear of blood. To be fair guys have a lot of handicap too, but kishi made it up for them by giving them godly powers and redeeming them properly. Girls like sakura get mistreated so badly imo lol.

Its really just a matter of time, I mean are people still doubt Kushina's input has any merit yet many NH fans formerly followed this stuff, as for SS they still think it will just happen. No thats not going to, its just not. Even after all the trouble Sasuke has caused, its not going to happen so suddenly, did those SS shippers ever consider how it would conflict with Sakura's development? Unless Sasuke always passed secrets to Sakura, if getting ready to stab her was a secret manuver to pass on info to her, what claims of love are there? Seriously the guy still didn't apologize and Sakura is not trusting of him. As for NH, same deal with them expecting it so suddenly. I mean why would this one get pushed to the front despite everything else? It would just be so forced with so many missing elements. Yet despite the manga its those selective readers who tell us we are wrong or they stick with their pairing, nothing wrong with their pairing, only thing wrong is when they use non-factual evidence or make arguments that either fall flat or can be easily countered. NS has the development the others don't yet this to those people is swept under a rug. NS ain't going anywhere much as they would want it too.

There is one thing set in stone and that is Naruto's feelings for Sakura.
 
Before his convo with Sai, it was all speculation based on what lenghts he is willing to go for her, the tender looks and blushes, putting her happiness over his own etc. After that, it was confirmed. It's not a question anymore. We didn't need the spesific "L" word to understand it was a confirmation.
 
Naruto said "How can I tell her?". What do you think Naruto meant? To tell her that he has a crush or just really like her? Or that he supports SasuSaku and is about to move on? The context only fits with "How can I tell her that I love her?".
 
I can't believe this argument still exists. That it's still possible Naruto's feelings aren't love. To say Naruto has never said he loves Sakura is a lie.
 
He's not about to move on either, if so we would've seen the process. Like in Sakura's case; her love life is going through so many stages right now it's not even funny. Naruto's is solid as a rock, because Kishimoto doesn't need to reconfirm it everyday (even though he still did in 631.. ) This is a very good tumblr post about why Naruto's feelings did not wither after the confession.

Nothing new here but Haha, what I like the most is how naruto was like, "You were in danger sakura-chan, and here they're sleeping" haha aw narutos so cute around sakura.

Behind every great man theres a great woman. Every shounen hero loves their heroine (love interest) and only get scared of them. Like goku, naruto and edward. They're badass and basically are the saviours of their time and are badass, but when it comes to their lovers they're scared and dont dare to eveb try to do anything in front of them! ohh I love that. (And I hate it when the westernt hinata fans go and twist the manga and say hinata is the badass woman for naruto please, dont me scowl :evil:

And MAN! that new manga cover sure reminds me of the old naruto artwork back in part one with their summonings. The new sannin!!!
And say, kishi has changed sakuras bangs a bit, they're falling over her forehead. I wonder why the new change.

Okay so in Hygua Japanese Mythology, there is a tale about Konohanasakuya-hime - the cherry blossom (blossom) princess. (Sakura is basically a princess, or will become one like her master and maybe that will be her name the cherry blossom princess) anyway...She is the princess of mouth Fuji and is said to protect the village from volcanos erupting and what not. She fell in love with Ninigi-no-Mikoto grandson of Amaterasu, sent dont to earth to plant rice and to pacify Japan by bringing the three celestial gifts used by the emperor.Connections

Sakura = Konohanasakuya-Hime (Flower princess/ goddess)
- They both represent life (Sakura being the normal girl)
- Both symbol is a cherry blossom
- Konohanasakuya rules mouth fuji, her best friend (Ino) family happens to decend from a lake found there
- Konohanasakuya was to bring her husband prosperity, (Sakura is a medic doesn't get any better than that)
- Tsunade is like Sakura sister she can represent the eldest sister (see below)
- Representation of beauty and transient life
- symbol of delicate earthly life whose image is that of the sakura, and goddess of Mount Fuji (Sounds like Sakura with her getting saved all of the time)
Tsunade = Rock Princess
- She was the older sister of Konohansakuya
- She and Tsunade represents Rocks (the Sanin) her abilities.
- Both are immortal in a sense.
- The sister resides in Youkai Mountain, which is very reminiscent of the Slug kingdom.
- Goddess of immortality, she is the only immortal like one (Hidan doesn't count he is a shinigami)
The sister's story
Iwanagahime is a goddess of immortality and the older sister of Konohana-Sakuyahime. Long ago, the two sisters held a contest to see whether Fuji or Yatsugatake was taller. Yatsugatake won, but Sakuya couldn't stand there being a mountain higher than hers, so she broke apart Yatsugatake. However, since Iwanaga was tired of her sister's attitude, she moved to Yatsugatake, causing Fuji's inextinguishable flame to disappear since Iwanaga had control of the unchanging.
Saskue= Ninji
- Grandson of Amaterasu
- Amaterasu have uchia roots
- Ninji was sent to Pacify the emperors 3 gifts, Saskue sort of did that with Itachi's 3 Sasunoo weapon gifts.
- Not many connection needed to know that he is Saskue.
Ninji and Konohana feel in love with each other, he asked her father for her hand in marrige,The father agreed but sent both of his daughters to marry him. He only wanted Konohana because he didn't love Iwanagahime (she was ugly & Tsunade is old and under that seal of hers lol, by a goddess standards). The father was enraged and he said that Ninji descendants would lack immortality because he reject the eldest sister. ( And we all know if Saskue and Uchia had a baby if would be more powerful than if Saskue and Sakura had one - though there baby would be powerful too).
Now Sakura powerup (yin seal related)This part may not be from mythology but I'll mention it anyway...i think it's a game based on mythology. Naruto came up in 1997 but this Touhou Project was created in 96 Kishi could have been inspried by it.
Sakura is a skilled medical nin and in the story and elixir was created the Hourai Elixir, with the power to manipulate eternity.Anyone who drinks this forbidden elixir will cease to age, never become ill, and will never be able to die, maybe her yin seal will act like this, though this can be more Hidan related.
Connection to Tsunade's yin and possible Sakura's
-The first taste of the medicine makes the drinker incapable of growing up or aging.
Probably the first jutsu Tsunade use with her yinseal
-The second taste makes them incapable of becoming ill.
Tsunade creation rebirth, and her healing
-The third taste makes one completely immortal to the truest sense
Strength of 100
Now as for Sakura's powerup
It not only keeps one immortal, but makes one an existence completely independent of even the concept of reality, thus making one not subject to the bounds of life, death, or even manipulation, although the pain of injuries can still be felt.
This could mean her gen jutsu power resistant having something to do with genjutsu.
Sakura and Saskue can also be reflective to the character Eirin Yagokoro is a medical genius, and Lord Tsukuyomi.

Is it just me or are some od the western fans trying to copy chatte's posts that connect sakura and mythology, and the sannin and team 7, and the narusaku mythology? Cuz its desperate as @#$&!!!!! It all makes sense but how does this lead to sasusaku?

Ok, I know how sakura and her beauty and strength is based off of the traditional japanese cherry spirit sakuya and how tsunade and sakura are all that stuff. But this just shows how kishi has put some japanese mythology with sakura, sasuke, naruto, jiraya, tsunade, orochimaru, ino-shika-cho, minato and kushina and konoha. Whats new?

What? Actually no, the majority of the naruto fanbase as a whole doesnt hate sakura, its just that your probably hanging out at NF or NB or any other anti sakura forum. Some fans do think sakura doesnt deserve the role as heroine, but thats just some of the western fans, and practically nothing from the japanese and eastern fanbase.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, generalizing the japanese fanbase, she's well-taken amongst the japanese, and treated as a heroine should be treated, no debating about her status of heroine or her power and strength as the strongest female of her geneartion. Theres also no debating about narusaku amongst the japanese, its all facts. Sasusaku is also popular along with the crack pairings kakaXiruka, sasosaku, itasaku, and kakasaku.
Theres simply no debating about sakuras popularity and praise amongst the japanese fans and western fans (yes western fans, not like the japanese but yes)

I think Rocci is referring to a recent hate thread in MF [Will you be happy to see Sakura die], but even the anti-sakura user who created that thread says this after his rant about sakura "And before start arguing to me about it, I know that it will never happen..." so it's kinda funny to see butthurt sakura haters hoping and commenting on the thread.    But there's neutral users (some not sakura fans) who defend sakura as well, I personally think this comment "shes still virgin, so as you . she dont have to die young lol" was a great answer to that thread

hahaha , yeah I guess that includes all the warm smiles she gave him in chapter when Naruto returned to Konoha after the time skip  and the warm smile she gave him when he saved her and made her feel safe and all the warm smiles she gives him on the "dates" they also have sometimes . hahaha . yeah Sasuke participates in that alright .

She/he included that smiles are also coming because of Gaara .. That is either to piss me off  or to embarrass him/her self , on of the two..

The first sentence makes no freaking sense '' she is not suppose to be happy, but she belongs with Sasuke'' dafug? Seriously , contradicting common sense to its highest ..
