Yes Yes Yes Yes! My heart was literally beating so fast when I was reading the previous chapter because I knew that it was leading up to the intelligence hq deaths. I want to feel that away in the upcoming chapters. I want the Juubi to start sweeping some fodders with a simple fart. I want lots of bloodshed and a slaughterfest like we had in 605. Dear god the level of blood and gore in that chapter. I know Kishi is capable of doing such amazing things like that, so I expect him to deliver in the upcoming chapters.

I think this is an amazing point. Kishi is capable of doing great things; making great fight scenes, creating good characters. I don't know what's happened.

At the beginning of Part 2, Sakura was AMAZING. Like, she kicked ass. I want to see that again, when they kill the Jubi/whatever they're doing to it. I want to see her either punch Madara, or help Naruto with Obito.

I really want to feel that way in regards to Sakura's character, but that was years ago. I just don't trust Kishi like I used to when it comes to Sakura's character. I know she's going to contribute in some way, but will her contribution be big or little? Lol duck face.

ofcourse she is the heroine!!! i am just amazed why kishi hasnt shown devlopments with her though she has devloped from the 1st part. now she is a good ninja. but she needs more powerup and personality yes feeling towards naruto. kishi has to show that some how. i am now confused. if i would repeat sushi. she said what if the manga ended with no pairing. sakura ll end up like tsunade and naruto like jiraya and sasuke like orochimaru. man that ll be really bad.

She still loves Sasuke.

She still "loves" Sasuke. But she's well on her way to getting over that "love".

The first step is acceptance. The lover-nin scene clearly showed that she accepted that Sasuke was a terrible "love". She knows it, too. Look at her face in that scene. That's all the evidence you need.

Her "love" of Sasuke will fade. It's already begun.

Havn't Kishi moto just hinted NaruHina to happen with what Kiba said or whatever?
Naruto doesn't give a romantic answer blah blah. I know all this.
But isn't it possible that Kishimoto is starting to give it development?
If he does, I do find it annoying that he boosted the NaruSaku
development that much just to let it fade into nothing.
I mean for NaruHina to happen there should be more
SO MUCH MORE.

I don't even know what he is doing anymore.
Honestly I am fine with any pairing, but I find it
annoying when things just happen out of nowhere,
and Naruto falling for Hinata would totally be out of
nowhere at this point.

If I am going to believe in NaruSaku anymore I
need a God damn hint soon <.<

Sakura is definitely the heroine.

Problem is, Kishi wasn't only bad at drawing girls (He admitted such in the first volume of Naruto I believe) but as we have seen, he's pretty bad at keeping them consistently important or 'powerful' throughout the story.

I feel like after writing for so long, Kishi just missed/forgot/ignored a lot of things he had laid out for her in favor of developing overpowered Sasuke.

+ Sakura was supposed to be an excellent candidate for genjutsu
= We haven't seen any 'excellent' or powerful genjutsu worth noting from her at all. Has he forgotten? Seems to me that he decided normal genjutsu is always a fail compared to the all mighty overpowered sharingan he created.

+ He has drawn Sakura with slugs just like he drew Naruto with frogs and Sasuke with snakes. When I saw that, there's no way that couldn't be some kind of foreshadowing.

= Instead of seeing Sakura getting a real power up or showing that she has abilities other than excellent healing skills and super strength, we get a bajillion Sasuke power ups and his annoying angst. Again, it seems like Kishi doesn't know how to follow up on anything.

+ In that same image, Sasuke has a sword (Right now he has a sword he uses a lot), Naruto has a scroll (We saw him with said scroll when he returned in Sage mode) and Sakura has an axe
= Where is Kishi's follow up on her axe? It would be absolutely amazing if Sakura had her own personalized weapon. It would make her stick out more compared to other characters.


Again, Sakura IS the heroine. The problem is that Kishi just doesn't seem to care enough about female characters at all. Sure, Ino and Hinata has gotten some spotlight, but they are far from great either.
- Hinata appears to only have a one track mind for Naruto. Instead of waiting to take his word for it that he'll change the Hyuuga clan, it would be a great character development for her to try and do it herself instead of standing around waiting and looking timid.
- There was never really anything wrong with Ino other than her crush on Sasuke. We don't really seem to know much about her other than she's improved greatly on her jutsu's that we saw in the chuunin exam arc.
- Ten Ten.... definitely don't know if anything is wrong with her. :/


We don't know as much as we could about Sakura and Kishi is definitely treating her horribly, but the other... "candidates" *and I say that very loosely* just don't fit the role of what a heroine is in Kishi's world. Sakura doesn't seem like a heroine if compared to other mangas, but he said she is, and in his world, that is what a heroine appears to be. Severely underpowered and underdeveloped.

I don't know if Kiba's comment should be taken so seriously though. I think he was just being himself and teasing Naruto like always. He teases Shino, Neji, and Hinata quite often so I think it was meant to cause a reaction (for fans) but Naruto and Hinata didn't respond to him.

Besides, teasing in this manga seems to hint in the opposite direction but I can't imagine Kiba having a crush on Hinata. Shino and Neji have come across more that way since they seem to look out for her well being more than anyone else (not hinting anything - sorry if it seems that way but I'm just trying to prove a point) so I really don't know what you should make of Kiba's comment. Maybe nothing.

Honestly, I believe Kishi knows what he's doing. He's been giving pairing hints forever but the end result always ends up with Naruto and Sakura - this coming from a non-biased fan (I also like NaruIno and SaiSaku just putting it out there 8D ).

I think everyone's putting too much energy into things. Maybe I could point out something to cheer everyone up?

Kishi's not into fan things at least I hope not. That's a devastation to a writer's craft entirely.
NaruHina's not the most popular in Japan. Not even close. NaruSaku stomps it in japan. Overseas, yes it's most popular but that's hardly Kishi's concern lol

Besides, popularity doesn't = canon or logic. I love NejiHina and I'm happy it's loved in Japan but that's not enough to make it canon - it's up to Kishi.

Okay, well this is just a theory of mine from my studies on Japanese culture as well as Chinese culture.

Okay, okay... you ready?

Minato and Kushina are obviously a direct point to Susano'o and Kushinada. Minato's name is not Susano'o however, his name implies such. Minato is a port or harbor but Namikaze is waves and wind - Susano'o was God of storms and the sea (hint hint). Susano'o saved Kushinada from Yamato no Orochi and upon saving her was given her by her parents for marriage.
There are some differences but I think that has to do with the fact that the Uchiha's have Susano'o, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu. But even still, Minato gained Kushina's love after saving her.
Naruto and Sakura could possibly have a connection to Ninigi and Konohanasakuyahime. (Hint hint with the name KonohanaSAKUYAhime in some tales it's KonohanaSAKURAhime.) Her symbol is the cherry blossom for short and fleeting life and she's a goddess of volcanoes too. Just stretching here but Sakura's been described as having a firey temper and to be explosive.
I can't make much a link for Naruto yet but he did receive a jewel from Tsunade - I don't recall him having a sword or a type of mirror but he was a heavenly kami and Naruto's been described as having a warm and bright persona.
Apparently the two met and there was an issue of distrust because of Konohanasakuyahime's early pregnancy that led Ninigi to think it may be another's. Throwing it out there but since Minato and Kushina weren't exact clones maybe Naruto and Sakura aren't supposed to be either. So in other words, what if instead of a pregnancy issue, the problem is Naruto being under the assumption that she loves another (Sasuke)...

I'm a mythology buff so would you believe me if this just came to me after looking into the story of these two? I made some connections between a lot of stuff from this series and Japanese/Chinese mythology.

Also worth noting that when it pertains to Naruto and Hinata, I cannot find any links between the two mythology wise (and we all know how Kishi is with plugging that into the series). Naruto and Sakura, yeah a couple times. But Team 8 wise, only Shino and Kiba are of Japanese influence. Hinata along with Lee, Neji and Tenten are of Chinese.

The only connection was probably the 8 trigrams sealing and the Hyuuga's jutsu but even still that technique was used by Neji so there's no connection between them. Which is probably why Kishi's not involving the Hyuuga's in anything special (Like the Uchiha's clan like they were before). The Hyuuga is more Chinese influence - specifically, Taoism/Daoism influence.

I could do on if anyone wants lol I've been into mythology for years (I started out in Greek but traveled) so when I saw Kishi plugging stuff in I was overjoyed. I'm just waiting on Kishi to plug in The seven lucky Gods (come on BENZAITEN!).

Wtf are you talking about? NH has never been the most popular pairing in Japan. That title belongs to KakaIru and the most popular straight pairing is SS with NS in a slight second place. NejiHina is more popular than NaruHina in Japan.

Noticed something else I could've added. Ninigi's a heavenly kami, Konohanasakuyahime is a earthly goddess and a symbol of earthly life.

Hmm... Earthly life? Human strength's and weaknesses? Sakura??? Kishi...!

I'm starting to be a bit more sure about this theory now.
