Huh great chapter. I just question whether I read Sanji's introduction wrong after these flashbacks. I recall Sanji wanted to be a chef because Zeff saved him from starvation when he wasted food on a regular basis and ended up almost dying because he had nothing to eat, and so was grateful to him. Well Not that it matters, cause I find it great and heartwaming still.

Damn Oda, right when I think I've seen sad back stories, a new one comes by and hits me in the feels. Seeing Sanji all alone in his cell with that Iron mask on destroyed me. Plus his reasons for learning how to cook made me lose it. My kids have made me simple things from the kitchen, and I commend them for doing such a good job and I eat every bite, so seeing his mother eat his meal hit home, my Kokoro couldn't take it. I had suspicions that his sister was going to help, Sanji but I'm glad that it was explained that she has the same strength, but she also has empathy, something her three brothers lack. I was surprised to see Luffy at the end. I really didn't think we'd get to see him at all, but I'm glad we did. That means that hopefully his fight with Cracker will be done with next chapter.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but Sanji's mother didn't have swirly eyebrows. One of the first things I looked for on her. So either Judge has them under his helmet or it's part of something behind the science of their creation.
