Its official Barragan is awesome. I love his release and the whole theme with time and necrosis is the absolute sex :teehee:

I never thought I'd like Barragan..but wow O.O he is an eye-opener. I loved his line about the irony of shinigami fearing death. Perhaps Kubo is trying to tell us that shinigami aren't really above humans if they can die in the same way (the espada each represent a way humans die). I love how Kubo is making the higher arrancar seem so mature too, like they are even more wise than the shinigami. Halibel has such a calm, unwavering personality and Hitsugaya is seeming more and more like a little kid, whining about taking him seriously. I hope we get to see Soifons bankai next chapter!

Well I have to assume that the some of the Arrancar are older than most of the shinigami. I would imagine that Barragan might be near or beyond Sotaicho Yamamoto's own age. It might be possible that all the espada are as old or older than most of the captains. Since they had to consume other hollows and such to reach at least Adjuchas class prior to becomeing Arrancar.

Kubo is quite fond of cutting off limbs and such, I've noticed. There was Yammy's arm, Ishida's hand, a big chunk of Matsumoto, and now we have Soi Fon's 'dead' arm. Ah, I love action and drama. I guess having Orihime's rejection abilities means that loss of limbs aren't necessarily a big deal.

Barragan is kickass. His power is so different from the other Arrancars'. Age is something on a different plane to powerful weapons and great power. Soi Fon probably won't be able to handle him on her own. Maybe Yamamoto will step in?

Still want to see more of the other characters like the Viizards. I'd like to see Kyouraku and Lisa reunited - I'm rather fond of Lisa for some reason.

And man, I really hope Halibel puts Whiteass Pretty Boy Captain in his place. I hate the way he's been acting in this fight. I think he may have a bit of a mysogynistic streak in him.

I also hope we get to see Soi Fon's bankai. I mean, her shikai is frickin' hardcore, so her bankai must be epic level.

I wonder where Soi Fon's run off to. Prepare her bankai, maybe? Oddly enough, I actually quite like Omaeda's character. He's a bit of wimp, sure, but it does show us that not all Shinigami are the stereotypical heroes. Maybe we might see Omaeda's bankai.

Having Omaeda remark that Barragan was even more dangerous than Aizen was sort of chilling. Barragan has such a commanding power. But if Stark is supposedly stronger than him, I'd really like to see how Kyouraku deals with it.

Hitsugaya is more like King of the cash Cow. I figure all this heavenly stuff goes into promoting his design adding in the spikey hair, teenage prodigy, dragon style, etc; and keeping the fangirls squealing.

Kubo's money making shota. Though I have to say I'm surprised his "ultimate" attack is being used already when he doesn't have the disadvantage. This leads me to believe that Harribel will survive the attack. (Looking at the chapter cover that's what her names seems to be spelled)

Intrigued to see what Soi Fon has up her right sleeve. Omaeda being chased by Barragan was actually pretty damn funny. Glad to see some humor poked in there. Got to give him some credit since he's the only VC still active..

Still believe that the top 3 Espada have more abilities yet to unveil so anxious to see how Harribel counters/survives and what Soi Fon is scheming.

Seemed like a filler chapter to me, though Omaeda was hilarious XD Not really that surprising whitey-chan pulled another power-up. I only hope that since he is doing this 'most powerful attack' first, Halibel still has a chance to retaliate with her own super attack. I'd rather see Halibel go up against a vizard anyways. Its too weird for Hitsugaya to be handling the 3rd espada so easily when Ichigo barely could stand up against the 4th (outside of his monster hollow mode). There is no way the difference in power between Ichigo and Hitsugaya is that great. Ah well, Kubo loves messing with the power levels as he sees fit XD

Well theres a double standard for Hitsugaya. Some people have deemed Halibel to be epic strong and Hitsugaya as the weakest captain ever. If Hitsugaya says something sassy, hes showing his ego , but when its Halibel, shes just being cool. In actuality, there both big egotists, but Halibel gets a pass. This attack Hitsugaya is about to pull, people are going to complain that its too uber. Now if halibel had cut Hitsugaya in half earlier, they would have loved it and count it as haXXorz.

Lets not blame Kubo, we all know were he free to do as he pleased the boobs would win and some chibi captain would be put in his place. This chapter is a huge impact on all of us and we all feel dreadfu,l certainly, but let us instead turn to the hilarity that is brought by Omeada and not grieve over the unnecessary and frustrating loss of a Halibarry.
