I don't see why people worry if Sakura still loves Sasuke, it doesnt mean Sasuke will fall in love with her. If that were true, Narusaku woulda happened long ago.

And then there's that, LMAO. I completely agree with you, and it's why I believe that even if Naruto dies and goes to HELL, SasuSaku STILL ain't gonna happen. But SasuSaku fans seem to press Sakura's feelings as much as possible as far as canon references are concerned, and leave Sasuke's feelings up to vague, ambiguous hints that they claim to percieve as being SUCH CLEAR indications at Sasuke caring for her in that way, but to other ppl is hazier than a L.A. smokestack on a moonless night.

But hey, NaruSaku has JUST gotten started with the actual meaty canon references, so I can't begrudge them their speculations too much yet. The big difference? All we have to get to see some real NaruSaku is for Sakura to change her feelings about Naruto, which is clearly in the process of happening. In comparison, it seems the statues at the valley of the end will break out the waterfall and walk away before Sasuke's feelings for Sakura turn romantic.

Ah those silly Sasusaku fans, trying to say sasuke does have more then (barely) friendship feelings for sakura. That's like saying oro doesn't lust after sasuke's body. The rest are her opinions.

I think Sasuke does care for Sakura maybe more like a sister he does for Naruto like a brother.

The agrument between Sasuke & Sakura is weak since its been one-sided hell they had plenty of chances but when Sasuke left its obvious that SasuSaku are close to impossible. While Naruto & Sakura's relationship continues to grow as of now we can prefer them as best friends until something else comes up.

Most debators never look outside the context of the story and ask "Why did Kishimoto include this?"

I've gathered the evidence. I've looked up stories that inspired it Naruto, the themes of the characters, and the evidence for each pairing. NaruHina does not stand a chance since Hinata is so insignificant to the main storyline and Sasuke will never return Sakura's feelings unless Kshimoto just does a complete 180 on his development. Sakura has already shown signs that her feelings for Sasuke may have become more platonic (her expressions are similar to Naruto's and they are always on the same page). Nothing so far has suggested that she still obsessed with him and it looks like she's done a hell of a lot of thinking these past 2.5 years.

I mean, she's second to Shikamaru in intellegence. She'll no doubt recognize the futility of trying to gain Sasuke's affection. Plus, with parallels to "The Tale of the Galliant Jiraiya", his empahsis on Heaven and Earth, and with subtle yet consistent development throughout the series, it seems Kishimoto had NaruSaku planned from the beggining. Hell, NaruSaku experienced more development than both NaruHina and SasuSaku not to mention they had a hell lot more interaction. SasuSaku's interaction was hindered by Sasuke's loner attitude and NaruHina's interaction was hindered by Hinata's shyness.

There is a reason why he did this, people.

There is no indication that Sakura's romantic feelings for Sasuke grew beyond a crush. She genuinely cared for him, but you don't need to be in love with somebody in order to care for them. NaruSaku is the only pairing that had any mutal development and I became NaruSaku when Sakura was willing to give up on Sasuke and sacrifice her happiness if it would spare him the pain, much like Naruto was willing to sacrifice his happiness for her. In chapter 181, Sakura brings up that she knows about his clan and that revenge isn't the answer, yet she has no idea who he wants revenge against.

Please stop mining for arguments. If you have a disagreement with the argument or perspective or whatever, talk about it yourself.

And as an aside, for those posts that are from FCs ... for those that are going to NF to counter them, remember that it's their place. Treat them like you'd like visitors to H&E to treat us.

Also, that type of scenario I thought was used when the "cool" guy is really a jerk and you're rooting for the "nice" guy to win over him - I'm pretty sure Team 7 isn't supposed to be seen that way (you know, the whole teamwork, they're all precious to each other, the fact that Naruto and Sakura are so dedicated and desperate to get him back thing). It could have been done earlier with little repercussions, but this late in the game....and after Sakura gave a confession....and the preoccupation with getting him back, not romance....

This stops NaruSaku how? I highly doubt Sasuke would be saddened if he found out that Naruto and Skura had babies. He might be annoyed since they would be at on the bridge. The only negative feelings that may arise is if he was going to use sakura to restore his clan, because it would be easy and convient. (she loves him with all his heart). I said "use" as in using like a tool, not falling in love.

and although I've been contested on this, I think the hospital scene may actually hint that there was something on Sasuke's part, because I think that's what Naruto was reacting to if you look at the arrangement of the panels.

Why would naruto only say(paraphrasing) "Sakura really likes Sasuke". If there was a reaction, like Sasuke pulling her closer, or laying his head on her shoulder, or something........don't you think Naruto woulda noticed? Why didn't he say "Sasuke likes her also...."?

First, I happen to think I'm mentally capable, but to each his own. Second, it was supposed to be biased - I wasn't presenting an argument in a debate, I was just talking about how I see things (perspective/bias) in a fanclub.

Perhaps I should have bolded the "may" for emphasis - I was just putting that out there as a possibility for how the scene was to be taken. If you look at how the panels are arranged, Naruto is reacting Sasuke (well, that's what logically make sense to me). Relax, I'm not using it as proof and I'm not making any claims off of it, but I did find it curious that I got a different impression than (or thought the emphasis was different in) how they presented it in the anime (on two other scenes as well). Make what you want of it, but it makes the most sense to me that Naruto is reacting to Sasuke, not Sakura since she wasn't doing anything different from when he started talking to when he stopped short, and then it's after we see a surpised expression on his face that it switches and we see Sasuke's expression - something that wasn't revealed until that point (we had been shown Sakura's face and Sasuke from behind). That Sasuke rather than Sakura caused Naruto to stop short in whatever he was saying falls in line with the layout of the panels for dramatic effect. Maybe Sasuke looking so sickly reminded Naruto that he hadn't eaten since he got back and that's why we next see him at Ichiraku with Iruka. Or maybe with Tsunade's comment that Naruto is a sensitive guy that he was jealous that Sakura was the one who got to hug Sasuke instead of him :o (fits with the focus on Sasuke).

EDIT: I can see where you interpretation comes from Kawarimi, but I still disagree because Sasuke does nothing throughout the entire panel that was posted, so I am not sure what Naruto is reacting to. On the other hand, you have Sakura crying over Sasuke, which tells Naruto how deep those feelings run. It's also consistent with the "promise of a lifetime scene" that comes later.
