Dude ME 3's ending is masterpiece compared to this. And this is coming from someone that considered ME 3's ending one of the worst endings in history.

 

And stuff like Barbie or Disney Princesses cause at least the fairytale endings and mushy love at first sight is intentional. Not saying these things were bad at all but they are made for kids so there's that.

It's not what it's cracked up to be. Nobody in the end ever truly accomplished that goal except for Naruto, Sasuke, and a few other mismatched people like Gaara and Choji. The dream of becoming an equal with her teammates and surpassing Tunade will forever remain just that for Sakura, a dream. Whatever scraps of panel time the other side characters achieved is obviously not enough to prove anything. In fact, the last few dozen chapters of the series was dedicated to the old generation being resurrected and usurping the responsibilities of the living by challenging the villains themselves. How can you prove anything when your elders continue to be wrenched from the afterlife to fight your battles for you?

Given the fact that Kishi's originality level is zero, I suspect this movie will be just like the first chunin exam. The kids will go through the test and -insert random villain here- will invade the village. Nothing new.

I like him a lot, too. But man, him being connected to Orochi would be the lamest and most predictable plot twist ever, I mean he already looked like Oro from the start... Then you have him be mean and give him stretchy powers... That's hardly a mystery unless it'll be reversed and he'll be just a weird good guy lol. But this is Kishi, so of course we'll get the oh so shocking lame plot twist.

I wouldn't be surprised if the training session we're seeing was for the one month period between the second and last test. Though, I wonder if, just like their parents, Buritto and Salad will not be promoted, or if just for the sake of " happy ending" they will pass, even though they're not ready.
