Just adding to the bits of "Naruto wasn't talking about Hinata pile"

 

Reason #2,000,000 that Naruhina will not be canon, and that Naruto wasn't talking about Hinata.

she was looking at naruto obvious... but the perspective is terrible here... for example...

look there... We can see the Hachibi is behind Sasuke in the biggest panel... but in one next panel the bug bijuu and the hachibi are upon their heads LOL and in the next panel, when naruto is walking towards kurama, we can see Son Gokuh looking Naruto with his head directed... it's complicated  to say... but Hagoromo moved a little by just turning himself around...

 

Naruto didn't direct towards Kurama but in the middle between Son Goku and Kurama.. So that's why Sasuke looking at his left while Kishi did just change the angle with Sakura's panel (take a look to hagoromo's knee and his right hand).

 

But when Sasuke notices Madara, Hagoromo blocked him. Behind of them we can see the paw of the sanbi. They were looking behind them so we can understand that madara's body was near the sanbi. But in one next panel, the one where Hashirama approaches him, we can see that behind them there are the yonbi e kurama. LOL a lot of errors everywhere.

If this was in color it would make pretty easy for me to look at this

Make sense, though I still don't get the dots in Sasuke's panel.  I don't think his face expression was directed at Naruto. It could be Sakura. I don't know. I'm overthinking...

This chapter was amazing. I didn't expect the Naruto-Minato goodbye to be so soon, but damn was it emotional and heart-breaking.  Naruto was trying so hard to be strong by all his smiles and act like he was okay, but then he couldn't hide his feelings anymore and he broke down and I was just. I actually did get a little choked up ... I wish Minato didn't have to leave. :( It would've been nice if he could've known his father better. But I'm glad he was able to see his Dad on his birthday.

 

I didn't expect Madara to change and I actually thought that part was done well. No redeemed villain, though it did feel more like Madara thought it was too late to regret anything he did. And Kurama's tsundere moment with flipping Naruto off was absolutely hilarious. 

 

Sasuke's panels were interesting. He really didn't seem to like Hagoromo's praising of Naruto---Sasuke's expression when Naruto said all his friends were good guys was hilarious tho, it was like he was saying "Don't call me a good friend" ---but his reaction to Madara's death sticks out. It's asking too much for Sasuke to learn from Madara's mistakes even by just watching his death, but it probably made him think a little. Just not enough. Naruto still needs to redeem him. Sasuke still has ulterior motives ... I have a feeling he'll try to return to the village now for his "plans".

 

And of course, the comment about Naruto referencing girls ... I was so caught up in the Minato goodbye I barely paid it any attention, but I guess I should state my opinion.

 

Naruto obviously wasn't referring to Hinata. He said not everything his mother wanted was happening, but he's trying his best.  You can argue it was a general statement and it was IMO, but it still proves Kushina's words still have credibility. Naruto still wants to follow them all.

 

What I gathered from that is Naruto does have girl he loves he thinks as great as his mother, but nothing's happening yet because he he hasn't confessed yet. It also reflects my original opinion of 631 where calling Sakura his gf wasn't literal, but his feelings behind it were sincere and he might be aware on some level it's complicated between them. However, this chapter does support my belief Naruto is still insecure about Sakura's affections and believes she loves Sasuke. 631 might not have proven that wrong after all.

 

The Minato-Naruto goodbye is what sold this chapter for me.

I loved this chapter, Sakura was great I liked her line about nothing surprising her anymore, and her smile towards Naruto, I really liked Tsundere Kurama, and I absolutely loved the father-son moment Naruto and Minato, although I really wish that when Naruto got to the part about girls there could've been a panel of Sakura of course that would basically make NS canon and you gotta have that pairing drama for some reason.

 

Anyway I can't wait until next week.

Naruto's answer was perfectly understandable. Sakura IS more or less his gf. It's just that they are not officially girlfriend/boyfriend relationship yet. Hence Naruto ended the topic in a questioning note because he doesn't know what will happen? How it will happen? When it will happen?

The Who? was already answered confidently in chapter 631. So the who shouldn't be the topic anymore.

And regards to his comment "Not all has been done as she said" is referring in general. Not just the gf comment but all the things his mother had said. Ex) studies. But he ended the note "that he's trying". He's in the process of getting there.

Edit: Lol, I of all people am defending Kishi that he's not trying to confuse the readers. If he doesn't deliver, I so wanna kill myself for defending him!

Do you think Kishi will make NS canon before or after the movie? He already confirmed Sakura/Kushina parallel and then just recently confirmed that Naruto is aware of it, and we know Sakura has Kushina's hairstyle in the movie. People are saying that Kishi doesn't want to ruin the pairings but he's making it so obvious he might as well make it canon already and quite stalling.
