I don't think this war is over YET. I'm predicting that there will be an unexpected twist and some more casualties. Like for example, the ninjas who were in the IT starting to attack team seven or that kind. I don't know, but I don't think it's over.
I have a feeling that the Naruto vs Sasuke final fight will happen.

I dont think we'll be getting the final NvS fight until they finally reach their full power (Naruto gains the other bijuus while Sasuke gets the other Sharinnegan)

Yeah the same here . For a final battle that needed to save the world it just seemed to easy and quickly no complexity at all and honestly it seems very unappealing for a final Shounen battle I don't think it works in that way and that a twist is definitely coming but what is it ?
I was think more like what if the Juubi which is the Rabbit Creature is still there despite the other bijuu's being extracted/separated from him , maybe he preserved all the power from them even after that extraction ? To farfetched maybe ? If not that then its either Madara or Sasuke turning hell on them with the Hokages . Btw what happened to Swirl Zetsu and Yamato was that part cleared up where did he go ?

This chapter did move a lot faster than normal. I actually kinda had trouble keeping up with what was going on.

It's interesting that you brought this up. I was reading Naruto up to Pain Arc, and took a 6 month to 1 year hiatus, and caught up to the war right when Naruto and Killer Bee were about to fight off against Itachi and Nagato. Of course back then I didn't analyze the whole volumes schematic of the series, but I mean this war all started with Volume 55 and it ends here with Volume 71.
If you do the math, 71 - 55 = 16 (Volumes)
16 Volumes for a Naruto Arc!!!
That's pretty crazy to think about, and l do think we'll get a complete wrap up of the arc in 691, and possibly 692. I mean if it goes past that and the wrap continues in 693 then we're gonna have some problems. Though I have faith in Kishi especially when it comes to the next arc.

I think it will happen by leaving all of a sudden the field with the other members of Taka, or Naruto and Sasuke will have some talk that will let us see more how their perspective differs by each on the Hokage matter or life or any of these kind of stuff.
It's possible too that we'll get something unexpected like Sasuke stealing something from Madara's abilities in some way, or Orochimaru have a plan, etc...

No one knows if Kishi wants to surprise the characters by the battle not being over... He did it before and he can do it again, and he's not the first author to do so.

I remember that Yamato was like being used by Madara or something for the Bijuu I think. It's like solving a mystery concerning the guy...
