[Sakamaki Izayoi]

Is it me or is this week going by really fast? I didn't even realize it was Friday already

Times is being faster aswell, i wsa playing crusader kings 2 a while ago and it's aready night.
At least i got a new episode of Invaders of Rokujouma!

Tbh the way Kishi is handeling Sakura's powerup ( her seal) is not that great. I mean, she rarely use this power, and the Naruto and Sasuke reincarnation thing made everything worse. Kishi was trying to show us how much of growth Sakura got. For example, her seal and her detirmination of not wanting to be left out by Naruto and Sasuke. I liked that. Everything was going smoothly. Just when I thought Sakura finally got the love she deseves; Kishi magically ruined everything by making god powerup for Naruto and Sasuke leaving Sakura's newly acheived development in the dust. Her Byakugo seal is nothing now compared to them. Heck, Kakashi has the sharingan now, why can't Sakura have something worth bragging about? Kishi better do something with Sakura or else I'll loose all the respect I have for him.

Sakura doesn't shine, because she doesn't has her fight on her own.
Kakashi has sharingan because of obito. It only show how weak kakashi is.
Sasuke is strong because he's naruto equal.
Naruto coz he's the main character.

In my opinion, Sakura's feats aren't enough to even put her ahead of Naruto in his various tailed forms from early Shippuden or Sasuke during his Hebi days. Her heart and mind share a common desire to fight alongside her teammates as an equal, but the presentations are severely lacklustre - they don't convey an appropriate and thorough growth pattern, unlike Naruto and Sasuke, both of whom are pitted against capable adversaries to show how their shinobi skills have improved. They're not just one hit wonders who show brief, limited glimpses of power and then conclude that they're as strong as their superiors - their strength, their speed, their techniques, their intelligence, their reflexes, their adaptability, their resilience... Everything is given a complete run-down with those two, it isn't limited to just developing a seal and then showing that you can punch harder.  

 

This sort of neglect is not uncommon in shonen series though. Kishi is simply appealing to the demographic which his manga was intended for. Even if his ultimate motivation is to have Sakura walking beside her teammates as an equally worthy individual, the boys are still going to receive the majority of the screen time. Huge discrepancies like these enable the protagonist and his rival to widen the gap existing between them and others to such a degree that it seems impossible for anyone else to stay relevant.

Sakura rarely does something with the guys(unless she's acting as support, and not their equal), she has to go solo because she can not reach up to them or something?? To make up for her absence, Kishi dedicates one in a million chapters to her. Like 632, the fight with Sasori, 540 etc. After a moment like that, he can push her out again, and use her as a damsel in distress to show her teammates' new powers, and a cheerleader for Naruto. I really liked her moment in 632, but it had no effect in the long run. After that, this pattern should've been over.

Hey, you still have people arguing that Sakura isn't as physically strong as Jirobo or Choji because her power involves chakra, it isn't "raw" or "natural". Dissidents and haters alike love to undermine her power by arguing that she's technically limited and by making all these petty little categories like "striking strength", "lifting strength", "grappling strength", "pushing strength", and whatever the hell else it is that brawn is used for. Since Sakura mostly (I could give a few examples of her showing feats that would arguably fall under those other categories) uses her CES for chakra discharging punches, they assume that she's only capable of "striking strength", as a result, she's therefore weaker than many other taijutsu users and her strength isn't applicable in taijutsu outside of punching. Sadly, I happen to indulge in these arguments myself by acknowledging them.

It's like that with other parts of her characterisation as well. People arguing that Part 1 Naruto and Sasuke are faster because they looked like blurs when they moved, that Sakura's taijutsu is poor because she got kicked by a "fodder" like Omoi (nevermind the fact that said "fodder" and his ally were proven to be capable fighters when they were blocking and parrying all of Naruto's moves as well), that her reflexes are poor because she needed help with a Mokuton spike while the soldiers all around her were dodging them, and that she's easy pickings for long-ranged fighters like Tenten because she happens to specialise in CQC.

The list of criticisms goes on and on. The truth is, I can't hold it against them for wanting to see Sakura actually back up her bark with some bite in those areas. She was trained by a Sannin who is supposed to be a Taijutsu master, her profession emphasises the use of evasion/reaction in order to survive, her strength is stated to be abnormally monstrous (not just her punching power), and she's supposedly a contender to Naruto and Sasuke. Well, I want to see those skills brought to light in a way that allows her to disprove these complaints. Even if she's not destroying mountain ranges or blitzing "goddesses", maybe showing some CQC skills that isn't linear or "hulkish", using her power for other things aside from punching attacks, and demonstrating a more strategic side to herself, that could all go a long way towards proving that Sakura isn't so limited. It won't compensate for the immense gap in panel time with her teammates, but she can at least distinguish herself from other shinobi.

Hell, he screwed Kaguya over before she appeared, because there was no build up and even though she's the strongest person in history, her battle skills suck hard. Considering she can't scratch Naruto, while he's hacking her limbs off. Kishi just does not allow the woman to out do the men. I'm not trying to say he's sexist and stuff, but that's his way of portraying things. Hell if a battle broke out between Tsunade and kakashi, I'd be more inclined to think he would win over her, because of the way their skills have been presented.

Kaguya fight is a combination of hyuga and kaguya clan. She's a caster not a (frontal) fighter. And kishi limit her ability by goes to the elemental dimension. Just like kishi limit madara by only use limbo. But it easy to beat them, seperate the bijuu and naruto should able to beat them.

This manga has less fight scene compare to the other manga. I think that because the enemy only limit to akatsuki, especially part 2. And all of them is boss fight(I don't include war arc since it a resolution arc).

Man just when I thought I have seen it all what Sakura haters can do .......

I turn on the guide on my tv to find where they showed the listings of toonamis shows. I scroll over to find tonight's episode of naruto (part 1 series) and viewed the info on it. When I did I noticed that they spelled Sakura's name wrong from Sakura to Sukura!

Now I thought that was just a minor mistake error on the name but then I look more into it and notice that they have Sakura's name twice in the description and they BOTH spell Sukura!!

And to bring even more evidence to the table the episode was when Shikamaru, ino and chouji came to Sakura's aid against the sound ninja, especially after Sakura went through hell to protect Naruto and Sasuke with her best efforts!!!!

Looks to me that Sakura haters can even invade our tv entertainment and slander their wrongful opinions of women's "usefullness" when clearly the girl in question was the one PROTECTING THE GUYS ASSESS BY HERSELF!!!!!

She fought against her sons as a bijuu before being sealed. Even if she retained the information gained from battling them, it won't necessarily give a complete understanding of shinobi, that would come after Black Zetsu provided her with all of his information gathered over the course of history. Hagoromo might be the progenitor of all chakra, but we don't know what his fighting style was like, and all of the Rinnegan users seen so far haven't exactly been making full use of the perks that the doujutsu is intended to provide - even Kaguya has mostly relied on only a few techniques since this fight began. You can chalk it up to PIS if you want.

 

I think what's really hindering Kaguya is the fact that her opponent, Naruto, is relying on such unorthodox methods of attack that she's having a difficult time reacting to them. When a "goddess" is confronted by two warriors who have inherited the power of the Sage of the Six Paths, you expect to see the most highly advanced abilities that they can muster to increase their chances of victory, not a circus of erotic naked men who are all flirting with you. Now Kaguya was outperformed during the mass shadow clone barrage and when her arm was mutilated, but the Rasenshuriken barrage had the effect that it did because of the properties of the chakra used for the attacks registering with the bijuu inside Kaguya. An unexpected weakness that couldn't be exploited if confronted with anyone else who lacks the chakra of those creatures.

 

The fact that Naruto is using chakra that comprises all of Kaguya's body and that he isn't a conventional fighter is turning him into an Achilles' Heel for her. There's also the point you made about Kaguya not being accustomed to hand to hand combat albeit she did manage to block/deflect attacks from several different clones at once before being overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

WHen i said doesnt the same apply to her son's.
Is that you said that Kaguya didnt had stronger opponents to improve her fighting skills since they didnt had chakra, but her son aswell didnt had other opponents too.
It's only shown him taughting people ninshuu after they had defeated Kaguya.

I've been looking back at last weeks chapter I have and I have noticed that Obito said that Kakashi will not be keeping the Sharigans he got from Obito so we don't have to worry about him keeping them as its most likely to go away, the question is when, only time will tell.

 

And I think that will be the same for Naruto and Sasuke's powers as well they will not keep them, they will only have them until they have saved the whole Ninja world. That's how I stand on things right now.
