anyone else catch the newest episode? it has some narusakuness to it. particularly about how naruto hasn't stopped loving sakura but still realizes that she still loves sasuke and that even with that, he's still gonna try and win her over.

^^ Well, I think in terms of winning her over, Naruto is either really, really close or he actually got there but Sakura, herself, does not know it, yet.

Throughout the series, he's been doing the impossible because he's F'en Naruto. However, in retrospect, him winning Sakura over seems to be really easy, in his perspective, because he was himself the whole time, and that Sakura has grown to appreciate that and and that the flow is really natural which works well in relationships.

that being said, i don't think he truly understands how close he has gotten to her, or how much he already means to her, or how her feelings for him and sasuke have changed over time.

^^ Hmmm, you might be right in that statement there, but I think he will eventually understand that, if he hadn't understand it already somewhere lodged in his subconscious. This could be another topic they could talk about in their presumably long conversation with each other, on where they will go in the future after the war has ended.

No, I agree. JiraTsu is a pretty much direct parallel to NaruSaku in almost every way. I just hope their fates don't end up the same.

I doubt their fates will end up the same. I mean, Naruto is NARUTO. He's got so much.. heroicness to him and his backstory that he's impossible to stop. Plus I think the OVA hints at coming events, but that could be just me.

It's a possibility, but Naruto x UT isn't canon material so I don't think it's likely. But then again, Pierrot wouldn't put those particular events for nothing.

Its not going to be the same fate, because Naruto and Sakura has to do the few things that JiraTsu could not do, and have that happy ending that Jiraya and Tsunade were so close to having.

Yep, it's all hinted in that constant 'surpassing the previous generation' theme. So I agree.
I think some of NaruSaku's biggest hints are actually the parallels xD But that's pretty obvious.

Psssh, ten bucks this is coming from fans of the opposing fandoms that only watch the anime, so they only have fillers to back up their arguments. This sounds like bragging, but at least we NS fans actually have solid steel evidence against their filler claims. And now that we have some good moments, even in filler, they're the ones who complain about it? Shouldn't we be the ones to complain about how they're taking EVERY. SINGLE. DAMN. FILLER. MOMENT. AS. Even after Hinata's confession, there is some evidence that... ugh, I'll rephrase that. There is a SH#TLOAD of evidence that proves that he still has feelings for Sakura. I don't need to list them all since pretty much everyone should know them, however I'll bring up an obvious one. The conversation with Sai. He asks Naruto if he's told Sakura of his feelings for her, and he replies: "How can I? I can't even keep my promises." So there you have it, his feelings for Sakura are still mentioned somewhere. Oh yeah, and didn't Naruto [only] thank Hinata for saving him during the Pain invasion? Did he ever bring up her confession or how he feels for her? He did not, did he?

If the opposing fandoms really knew that the manga is a hella way ahead of the anime, and they were keeping up to date with it, then they would know that Naruto still does mention having "more than just friends" feelings for Sakura. Oh but that's right, their heads are stuck in the galaxy of denial.

Hmmmmm, that is a lot of yelling to take in and when someone yells that much, their argument and statement loses their point, which means that they are probably just venting and making themselves look bad in the process and not really making their pairing look good to those that doubt the pairing like me, if I may say.

As for the statement, if someone said that he has only just friends feelings for Sakura, the same should be said for Hinata, no?

Overall, NS has always and still is winning. But what face would Kushina make looking down from the heavens on Hinata not yelling her mouth at Naruto to keep busy? Naruto needs a man to smack him around when he isn't doing something right, Minato and Kushina know this, thats why if they saw Sakura and Hinata, they would pick Sakura...
