Aogiri Tree xD Though Juju's part in the Auction Raid was great to me
That's a tough question
Aogiri tree was incredible indeed but Auction raid indeed showed how much awesome :re can be.
I think Aogiri arc was better but I fully expect some arc in the future of :re to surpass it
Hmm here is my take when it comes to this question, obviously I think Aogiri Tree is slightly better than the Auction Raid Ac. That's my quick and honest answer right there, but now for the explanation that I haven't seen anyone mention yet.
The Aogiri Tree Arc was a stepping stone for Kaneki to transcend from the kind-weak hero to a strong confident hero (tragic hero if you wanna take it to that extent) when he has that conversation with Rize. Once that took place we got to see The White Haired Kaneki that we all loved in the original series. The magnitude that was set by Ishida after we this change from Kaneki to what he became was just woah.
The Auction Raid Arc is no exception it was a stepping stone for Sasaki Haise coming to terms that he wasn't strong by accepting assistance from Kaneki. That was one of the his biggest obstacles when it came to Takizawa because he thought he could do handle it on his own until Kaneki stepped in and advised him to do what was right. Granted you could see that Hinami was an asset at helping him go down that path, but nonetheless he did what he had to do to protect what was important and that was similar with how Kaneki was during Aogiri Tree. He wanted to protect the people that were important to him like how Kaneki wanted to protect those there important to him.
I believe that we're going to see Sasaki go down a similar path a more different approach then how Ishida's presented him thus far in re.
