That was my point, Sakura cannot blossom and become a beautiful flower, if she doesn't overcome her weakness and her attitude towards others (by the way it kind of change) but it still need to be worked on and overcame her biggest weakness (Sasuke), since she owes Sasuke nothing sooner or later she will get her upper hand on him same with Naruto, Sasuke will drop all his pride and will look up to them not them to him.

Huh? I got the impression she already blossomed during the FOD arc. You know, when she cut her hair and started finally being a badass heroine for her comrades. It's not that she hasn't fully blossomed, it's just that majority of the time she becomes weak in the knees when it comes to her lovey dovey Sasuke-kun. But I'm sure with a little talk no-jutsu from Naruto will straighten things out.

You should lose hope, as i have. Kishi forgot that she existed during an interview. She's now currently a background dancer. The heroine title is up in the air and Ino & Hinata are desperately fighting for it.

If the interview that you're talking, it's the one where he said "she slipped my mind" dunno about that since I found a different thing over the internet.

Just watch the kages appear and tell Sakura tsunade died. Then it would be a flashback to some secret thing that Tsunade taught Sakura, aka that jutsu on her forehead (forgot the name) And shazam, shes fighting alongside naruto. Epic. I mean, considering the fact that Naruto, jiraiya's disciple learnt sage mode, Sasuke, Orochimaru's disciple learnt the shedding technique and more, you'd expect tsunade to have taught Sakura a bit more than just healing.

Than what was her purpose drawn on top of a Slug or later with the Slug on her shoulders if for both Naruto and Sasuke these have happened and for her not?

Yes but... does she have the body? Tsunade is half Senju half Uzumaki.
Sasuke if he'll get something like that he's an Uchiha.
And Naruto, well... Naruto is Uzumaki.
They all have traits from a clan, whereas Sakura is a simple girl.

Not saying I wouldn't love to see something like that, however at how Kishi's making it to look... dunno what to think.

OMG all that doubting here is really so funny.
Thats what happens when you only get 1 chapter a week.
I really dont know why everyone is whining around only because sakura didnt have the most screentime during the war arc.
All i can say is that this is just the flow of a manga especially shounen kind. You guys all act like the manga already ends in 2 chapters and
sakura wont show up again and wont get any development and will be shown to be in love with sasuke till then end, what makes no sence.

I mean omg just CHILL, kishi knows exactly what hes doing. Everything got its right time.
Its war so why are you all expecting so much from sakura?

Besides: The interview where kishis stated that sakura slipped his mind, wasnt ment for the whole rest of the manga. It was an interview from last year so he ment that she wont show up a lot that year, as we can confirm now.
So he was not saying that i will forget about sakura for the rest of the manga. I think thats not too hard to see right??

Well she is physically in shape and it's not like her chakra reserves are bad. Plus there's her natural intelligence and genjutsu know-how to consider. Also who's to say the slug training isn't any different compared to the frog or snake training? I think she has the potential to become a sage but it might be more difficult for her compared to Naruto since he did have a few advantages of his own like massive chakra reserves and the status of main character. The latter could be used for Sakura as well though.

Damn, every time I remember the potential with Genjutsu and Kakashi's comment on how she can become better than Tsunade I feel so enraged that nothing like that was shown to us.
I know the manga is not yet to end and everything, but if you look at it, so much time has passed and nothing relevant for Sakura that I feel a bit ... dunno... disappointed?
But maybe in the end things will get better, who knows?

I don't have to. Simply browsing this site or even reading the recent post in this thread should give you an insight on why Kishi isn't doing what you said he's doing.

And please, let's not turn this into a debate of defending Kishi's poor writing. I know I may have started it, but I most certainly don't want to finish it. It'll turn ugly.

Sakura needs much more relevance than she's been getting- and not just concerning Naruto or Sasuke either.

She needs to fight more for one. Healing is nice and helpful, but it doesn't give her much action. In order for people to have a higher opinion of her (because its sort of cool now to insult her constantly) she needs to kick someone's ass. Even if its a minor fight with a minor villain.

Next Sakura needs to get bigger solo panels. It tells the reader that she's an important character and a step up from the other rookies. Recently Kishi has shoved her back with the others and I can't tell her a part from the rest of the alliance. That isn't good.
