Sarcasm? Looks to me like authorial intent. Three murder attempts to finally make her take a look at how pathetic her love is for Sasuke. Its borderlng on masochism, if it already wasn't before.

Bad writing is indeed bad writing.

Well sasuke tried to kill naruto many times and he still want to save him, kakashi killed him and he's still a "good" person.
Sasuke did not even said "hi" to ino and she still love sasuke, and even stick to the promise that she made to asuma that was "do not lose to sakura".

I dont say bad writing i say jump stuff that dont let the author do what he really wants because he has to follow some intents like "power of friendship".
the best argument is kishimoto got pissed off because he had to revive the people after the pain's arc.
Hinata should be dead and he could not.

A lot of bad things happening and naruto understanding sasuke and understanding hatred itself until comes a moment that he real decides what path he choose which is the good and confront sasuke once and for all to protect the village not because he wants to save sasuke.

Only shikamaru is getting this development his teacher died and now his father the same to ino's.

if you compare ino to sakura she's more adult than her.
Sakura until now did not had the same development as Ino and Naruto.

Question for you guys:

Do you believe NS will be canon before or after Sasuke's redemption? Answer what you think it will be and what do you want it to be.

I can see them becoming canon before Sasuke's redemption - though afterwards is still a possibility.

I had this dream a couple days ago where something happens during the fight against Tobi and Madara that resulted in Naruto, Bee, Kakashi and Sakura being captured by them. (Like sucked into some weird dimension - yeah, I did say this was a dream! >_< ) And they were separated. Tobi through Sakura and Kakashi in a cell somewhere where she tried her hardest to get out but couldn't (Kakashi was unconscious for some reason), meanwhile Naruto and Bee were about to get their Bijuu's extracted. There was some weird moment where there was a flipped scene that had talking to Shino (dreams are so weird) then it went back to normal and Sakura was going into a self-pity moment until Sasuke showed up and oddly freed her and Kakashi. The three of them went to rescue Naruto and Bee.

Some things happened that I can't remember and either Naruto lost the Kyuubi or something and he was laying on the ground when Sakura ran over to him crying onto his chest and blaming herself. Sasuke told Kakashi to keep an eye on the two of them or something and left. Meanwhile Naruto was talking to his mother again and she was talking to him about love and Naruto explained that the girl he loved - loved someone else and that he was starting to believe she would never love him back but then Kushina explained that Minato and her didn't have it easy either. She reminded him that she underestimated his father too - because she was young like Sakura. She then asked him did Sakura make him happy and did he make her happy too and Naruto said Sakura was his happiness (or something like that) and said he didn't think he made her happy.

At this time Kushina told him to stop thinking so much and listen for a moment. He was confused but started to hear Sakura's crying and her saying some things. Eventually he could make out her saying how stupid he was - a moron - but that his stupid antics and goofy smile made her happy. Naruto tried to say something but Kushina told him to hush and let a woman speak (LOL) Sakura then went on about how much stronger she'd gotten when they were together, how comfortable she was with him - how as a team it always seemed like she was reborn in spring - just like a cherry blossom whenever he smiled at her. Then there was a weird moment that I can't remember...

The next scene I could make out was her saying something about wilting under the impression that she wasn't needed and that there was nothing she could do for him. She told him how she wanted to fight with him and keep him safe but it seemed like he kept wanting to shield her from the pains of the world. She said she wanted to stop sitting in the background and instead help him - but now she was afraid that she would hurt him instead.

She said something about how she was sick of everyone telling her how to feel and what to do. She said she wanted to make her own choice for once and she wanted to be with a fool. (I can remember that because it rhymed lol)

I guess she thought Naruto was dead or something because she then said she was sorry that she wasn't able to see where her heart really was in the beginning and that the last time she said she loved him - she was afraid to be rejected by him but she said this time around, she was serious. Then she said I love you - idiot. Then she started crying again.

There was another scene with Kushina then Naruto started to wake up but Sakura couldn't tell and kept crying saying "I love you". She gasped when she felt Naruto's hand on her back and then she looked at him and jumped away shouting all tsundere at him and all Naruto said was "Me too."

I guess Sakura knew what he meant because she teared up again and hugged him.

I'll be honest, I was trying to dream about Neji so imagine my face when I woke up.

I can't remember the rest of the dream, then again, it could be because it went totally random afterwards lol

Got to hand it to Naruto, he puts 2 and 2 together and figures out that his dream girl is in love with some other dude. Comes back three years later and he still loves her. That's nice.

Now if only Hinata can put 2 and 2 together and figure out that her dream boy is in love with some other girl. Too bad her tunnel vision is blocking reality. Poor thing.

Yeah, like she seemingly did during her confession. I agree with Naruto, it certainly was not funny. It was actually really painful the first time I read it.

The villagers acknowledgement, Saving Sasuke, bringing peace, becoming Hokage and winning Sakura's affection were meant to be a challenge for Naruto, one of the theme of the manga is that with hard work and dedication, plus Naruto never give up mentality he will overcome all odds.

Sakura character were meant to represent human flaws and weakness, to later became a better person in the end that is when Sakura will finally blossom.

I told you already, Naruto is the main character, he will overcome all the thing that seems impossible.

@Don-Kun - Please, spare me the themes and main lead lecture, I've heard it over a billion times before.

I really don't wanna touch on this particular subject in your post, but the only time I can recall Sakura's love for Sasuke not making her look like a dog in his presence was during Gaara's murder attempt on Sasuke. I admit it was a beautiful scene with similarities from Gaara's past.

I feel that Ino's role has been unnecessarily heightened to something which it should not be. But then this has been occurring throughout P2 with Team 10 receiving absurd levels of screen-time while various other characters, Sakura included, are forced to suffer the burden of compensating for it by a deficiency of said screen-time. Now I do think that Kishi still has something in store for Sakura. Like others have said we just haven't reached that point yet. Should Tsunade die that would definitely play a critical role in her development in her character and it would have a similar impact to the one Ino is experiencing presently with her father having died supposedly.

This is a frustrating time for Sakura fans but we can take solace in the fact that there's still the above potentiality with Tsunade and the fact that she did receive screen-time this chapter, albeit it was very limited. But at least it was more than what the rest of the rookies received apart from Shikamaru, Naruto, and Ino. She did function in an active capacity with enhancing Darui's jutsu and that's a start. Let's wait and see what happens.

You should lose hope, as i have. Kishi forgot that she existed during an interview. She's now currently a background dancer. The heroine title is up in the air and Ino & Hinata are desperately fighting for it.

I don't think ino can take the role of heroine.. it.. it just wouldn't be right. hinata on the other hand can cause worry, but I'm not gonna lose hope yet.

Once I see sakura say she doesn't love naruto, or naruto say "I love hinata", or sasuke to say he loves sakura, I'm not gonna lose hope.

All the rookies will shine, but when that is over them all the Main character will get the main spot again and when I say main character I mean Team 7, since Sasuke has no relation with the other Rookies, If Ino is shining nice, if Shika is shining nice all the Rookies need to shine, but the best part is that Team 7 will shine more.

That was my point, Sakura cannot blossom and become a beautiful flower, if she doesn't overcome her weakness and her attitude towards others (by the way it kind of change) but it still need to be worked on and overcame her biggest weakness (Sasuke), since she owes Sasuke nothing sooner or later she will get her upper hand on him same with Naruto, Sasuke will drop all his pride and will look up to them not them to him.
