I completely agree with your post Paptala I think that the day Kishi stop throwing curves balls and finally come straight, most fans will finally understand why Kishi focus so much on the NS bond and the moment he had a change to show the readers which heterosexual bond he liked most, we saw that it was the Naruto and Sakura bond. It's also Natural to see it that way since Naruto is the character he choose as the main character and the person he made Naruto fall in love with was Sakura.

It would be awesome if a lot of people looked back if NaruSaku becomes canon and say, "yeah, that was glaringly obvious in hindsight" I agree, it is natural considering that Naruto has only ever shown romantic feelings for one person, that person being Sakura.

Also I want to tell you that I went back to the debate threads from 09, 10, 11 until this date and your post along with Kakugo's and some other NS fans that are currently away from the forums were great and are the same view you people have these days.

Thanks a lot! I've done that myself too - its interesting to read the arguments that old shippers posted - sad that so many have stopped being active, and just sporadically post now. But I guess it makes some sense given that there hasn't been a NaruSaku moment in the manga for 2 years, and the hype from the movie has pretty much died down. Oh well, at least if nothing else there should be some resurgence once the movie comes out subbed next April, and then whenever the next NaruSaku moment is

Couldn't agree more. It's as this movie is to address the audience that you don't believe she's a heroine or don't believe she and Naruto got strong connection, think again. The fact that they will be loss without each other shows how much they mean to each other and yet, Kishi managed to escape it by not letting them think over and realized how much he means to her a lot. Naruto already knows this, but I think he was sidetracked by the love of his parents. Thankfully, whatever she said got him back to reality. Curses, we got to wait for another 6 months. You did check other review who saw this movie too, right?

That actually seems to make a lot of sense - this could actually very well be connected to his annoyance at Sakura's bashers and the fans thinking that Hinata would make a better heroine than Sakura. Sakura really did play an integral role in this movie, and I will never stop being glad that he was able to realistically utilize her skills, personality and bond with Naruto to accomplish that and end up with such a strong product in the end.

A lot of things would make perfect sense to a lot of people's eyes when NaruSaku becomes canon. We would look back and think how much development Kishi put in them. So, only newcomers would be astonished by these. Otherwise, it will be awkward to read/watch back and think, "false advertisement."

I think the idea that Kishi has fully acknowledge NS to the world gave debaters a huge boost of confidence, so they went out there and put a huge post that's really convincing. Needless to say, I was impressed. It's going to happen again once NS interaction happens again.

In part 2, she's barely there and then, Pain Invasion happened and then she got the momentum. Lost and near death, But yeah. It never cross my mind either. Sakura did more work in there and even ended it in a high note with that hug. So it's like Kishi letting us remember that in the end of the day, she's the heroine. That's a good question. No one knows why. My theory is that Kishi intentionally left her out of it because perhaps she and Menma has a something going on, but it's hard to say. His family teases him (Naruto in placement) about his relationship with Sakura. We don't know what, but it's a clue. I think he dodged the bullet by not including her. Who knows. I say clever move. Perhaps...

Two things I would like to report:

1) In Japan, they aired Naruto Shippuuden Movie 5 on tv and it was the theater version, not the DVD version we all have now. Turns out that theater version has different animation/art than the DVD release. My point is that perhaps we most likely get an updated version of the movie, which could be good news. Don't expect a major one, but at least it cleans some messes.

2) I don't know where or how but, BEHOLD! A SNAPSHOT OF...:

I'm telling you, I'm on the NS or riot mode. I can't let it slide no more. From this day forward, anything but NS is a middle finger to everyone if NS is not canon and SS/NH is. Kishi has crossed too far to retreat. There's no turning back.

From what I heard, they fixed up the art of certain moments as well adding stuff on the image to make it more lively. Think as anime itself. Like Naruto punching Deidara on tv has blood; on DVD, more blood added as well fix up his face details.

Nah, my I guess is that an NS fan brought a high quality camera to the theater specifically to take that picture. But, I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to record the whole thing since there was more risk of getting caught.

He probably thought that getting a snapshot wasn't gonna get him in trouble, unlike recording all the movie. I think maybe there are more snapshots around.

I could be wrong though, maybe there was a brave soul that recorded all of the movie.
