I already saw some fans of SS that don't happy with this movie, and how it's picture SS, well, BIG NEWS - SS woudn't portrait as anything good from any angle!
First Sasuke's ass was spared from killing, when Kishimoto tied up whole character of Naruto "I won't be Hokage if I don't save Sasuke", "I can't confess to Sakura if I don't save Sasuke" and when Naruto got a kittening draw (

main hero couldn't beat his rival), Sasuke still got away, practicaly zeroing all Naruto's promises/goals. Great!
SS could become a good healthy relationship, but hat would just be a retcon. For 698 chapters, it was portrayed as nothing but an abusive and detrimental relationship. Then there's the fact that Sasuke has never been shown to have romantic feelings for Sakura until he suddenly developed them out of the blue in 699.
When even Kishi has admitted that he doesn't really know how Sasuke and Sakura got together, then that just goes to show how much that pairing doesn't work.
And yeah, Kishi shouldn't have imposed on those restrictions on Naruto. His intention was probably to make him appear selfless, but it just comes off as unhealthy self-flagellation.
Yeah. All of team 7 comes out of this looking like absolute scum, not just Naruto. I wonder if that was Kishi's intent or he even realizes what he made them look like. The rivalry moment makes Sakura and Naruto both look terrible. And does Sakura's comment about her feelings not changing so easily confirm Naruto's accusation that the confession was a lie, or do I have some memory problems?
Yup. These are new characters, not the ones we came to love.
I really don't know what Kishi was thinking when he signed off on this movie. Maybe he just doesn't care anymore. Either that or this is his way of silently protesting against the direction that the series has taken. Who knows.
As for Sakura's comment, I see two possibilities. Either she tried to fall in love with Naruto, but then realized that she just couldn't or the confession was just one big lie. Either way it's terrible.
I personally don't believe any of it. I think she was being honest about being in love with Naruto or at the very least, that she was developing romantic feelings for him. Kishi himself said that he wanted to portray her as honest, which is consistent with how she acted during the confession.
