That kind of traditional view also exist here..but it was really outdated and people don't really have that kind of double standard implement anymore..so I'm not surprised if JP fans were mad at it. i can't believe that such mindset was still exist, and Kishi was a living proof for it makes me like
I don't think he even knew his fanbase was basically exploded. Probably the physical evidences were there from the way they treated the outcome, or the '100 hate letters' trend that he probably be receiving now. but all of that might probably be covered up by some people with greed by saying outside of the nutshell, his product will still have some reception. The part 3 will most probably to cater this certain part of situation so that he can survive for the time being.
I feel like he's one of those people who don't understand how influential they truly are. A lot of well known people are like that. Except this time it ended up ruining the very reason why he became famous.
The people at Shounen Jump are probably keeping all of the hate mail away from him....
