To be quite honest, I think SasuSaku is the first and only manga couple I have encountered so far that fits this description.

Aah really? So much for the winning streak LoL. I guess getting to 3000 pages was kinda long, so yeah new things should come and take over this too 

 

Yeah, I know. And I think this is the longest any thread has gotten. It kind of exploded, and then we didn't have the heart to close it. It was the Thread of Hope compared to the Thread of Doom that were the actual movie/chapter discussion threads. 

 

I was kind of hoping someone would mine the thread and write some awesome fanfics off of the ideas here!!

 

But yeah, there will be loads more to talk about as the novels come out, then the new series, then the movie this summer. So no worries. And this thread will still be here in the hall of fame!

Did you not read my post? I said when I come on here and members are telling other members to kitten off then things are out of hand. 

 

Clearly the mods haven't minded some off-topic fun after all the stress of the ending. So don't act like you are pointing out some great injustice here. No one else seems to be confused. When some members are saying they're leaving the thread because of the out of control debating on politics, and members are telling others off, then that's where we draw the line. 

 

The off-topic is no longer fun and a stress break. It was aggressive and abusive. Abusing other members is not allowed in any thread. Being off-topic was never the issue.

 

 

No more of this. Any more off topic bs and I'm giving out warns/temp bans. 

 

 

After this, everyone suddenly started talking about Naruto. And even agreed on staying on topic. This interpretation of your post is quite possible.To me, it pretty much looked like "I seriously get a problem when people start using bad words. So enough off-topic or you'll get warned."

 

The thing is that when people are debating about politics while being not disrespectful, it isn't any less rule breaking than the other off-topics. So it is not about breaking rules or not. It is about talking what people want to hear or not. 

 

I'm not arguing about a great injustice here, I'm just asking you guys to please make those rules more clear so everyone that breaks it gets the same treatment. When I was banned, people already talked off-topic, not as much as now, but still. And I wasn't even talking about politics for the matter, it was just a few funny random posts, but since others had talked off-topic before, mine was like the last straw. I'm not even bothered about it anymore, I just wanted you to clear things up to me. It's the first time I've seen a mod saying "it's okay to talk off-topic". Even if I've seen them doing it before. 

 

I don't want to argue at all. But maybe fixing some of those rules would be appropriate now. I just got shocked over the sudden authority when things were going pretty liberal before. Actually, this is not the first time someone is being disrespectful here.

Um...actually.... We will probably be retiring this thread soon and launching a few new ones in its place. One for some post-Naruto fun and silliness, others for discussion of what's coming next. But yes, there will definitely be new stuff to discuss for a long time to come!!
