You're thinking too much about it Kishi wasn't happy in the last interview with all the NH fan mail overating Hinata and bashing Sakura. It's pretty obvious he's not interested in making NH canon in his manga with the huge lack of development between characters along that Kishi has proven that Naruto will always love Sakura so Hinata never stood a chance.

The last interview that happened in December 2009 he said Hinata Hinata and he wonders why her fans are loud, he even corrected that Sakura is the heroine not Hinata. Those are words of someone who is not happy about how the fandom have been idolizing a seconddary character who is not important to the story rather than the main protagonist.

Oh boy that interview really made me mad because of the way it was translated, but I was glad to find a proper translated version of it a few days later and I agree Gravenimage, why would Kishimoto want to pair up Naruto with Hinata when there's been almost zero contact between them, it doesn't make any sense and besides, I'm sure by now Hinata knows Naruto's heart has always belonged to Sakura and no one else.

I know in the preview of the interview it said" looks like Sakura really does love Sasuke after all" like they were saying it to our faces that S/S is already canon in the manga I agree with you berserkermoogle this is BS. Saying such superstitution because in the manga that has 1% of actually happening with how things are going in the manga. In addition that Sasuke tried to killed Sakura not once but twice Kishi is giving the message right there he put the nail on the S/S coffin. Of course he's not going to say S/S is dead or N/S is dead vice versa.

People have to understand that interviews are not reliable source of valid information no mangaka will tell spoilers from their own manga in a one hour interview. That's why I highly doubt that Kishi said that Sakura loves Sasuke. Take a look at Naruto's case we all know he's in love with Sakura but has Kishi himself has said that he loves Sakura??? of course not it's the same thing with Sakura he hasn't said that she loves Sasuke or Naruto he only gave a cryptic message" that Naruto is close to Sakura...". Interviews are just a source where the mangaka give small details from future events in the manga without giving any real spoilers for example.

-He didn't said a word about the Danzo Sasuke fight he only said that the outcome of that fight will determine Sasuke's fate and it did. Sasuke has become more evil than before

-He mentioned that something was going to happen to Taka and it did. Sasuke has abandoned his team while he ends up sacrificing Karin for his own ambition of revenge. Karin is taken to Konoha as a hostage.

-He said that Naruto was going to train again he DIDN'T said a word that he was going to meet the eight tails and he will learn to control the Kyuubi along with meeting his mother (that was all important information for him to reveal it will be one big spoiler).

-He NEVER said a word about Sakura's feelings for Naruto and Sasuke and he will never do he will let his manga reveal it for him (which I believe it will be soon in future chapters).

Oh my gosh... Other fandoms hate Sakura? We all know that. Let me say "I hate Hinata" on a VIZ forum and see how attacked I get XD these people just can't read Manga right... Or appreciate that it's inevitable... Naruto loves Sakura he will never love Hinata.

He did said that but he never said Sakura loves Naruto and not Sasuke, he's going to stay silent and let his manga do the talking like he has always done.

Shippu-chan I don't hate Hinata I have never hated her I have come to like her since her debut in both manga and anime. I only have a grudge with the fandom and Pierot

Hey guys.

On narutopedia I saw on the trivia section of there article of Kushina that said that both Kushina and Hinata have bean kidnapped because of there power and nothing comparing Kushina and Sakura. Really?

I'm not sure if this is still there, but one time I was reading the article of the hyuga clan and it showed a picture of Hinata from her confession scene with one byakugan activated and it said someting along the lines of "It's not certain whether this is a ability or just a drawing mistake" I was like "It's just Hinata with one byakuga eye activated, it doesn't mean that it's a special power, Sasuke had one sharingan activated one time"

I trust narutopedia for jutsu and ninja world information but I don't trust it for pairing information. That's why when I'm reading articles on Naruto, Sakura, Hinata, and Sasuke, I avoid reading their personality profiles as much as possible.

Because she's the princess of the clan which means the Hyuuga's would be at Kumo's mercy and they were probably interested in the byakugan as well.

I think it's silly that Kushina and Hinata have something in common just because they were both captured by hidden cloud.

-The cloud ninja who captured Hinata didn't even left Konoha because he was killed by Hiashi he didn't even left the Hyuga compound.

-The cloud ninjas who captured Kushina were already on the border of the fire country.

-Hiashi saved Hinata.

-Minato saved Kushina.

The only thing they have in common is that they were captured by cloud nothing else, I considered this a coincidence. Why can't they made a comparison between Hinata and Kushina in terms of personality??? I would like to see that analysis and the results are very obvious. They have NOTHING in common at all, it's clear that Kushina is a combination of both Naruto and Sakura Hinata has nothing to do with this whole thing. It seems no matter what happens in the manga Hinata will always be put on the frotn lines it's really getting tiresome.

I could have been a different story if the one who saved Hinata was Naruto. Or if Kushina was the timid insecure girl who secretly likes Minato and she was watching him all along from afar but we know that's not how it went.

-Kushina looked down on Minato she thought he was a girly man believing that he will never become Hokage.

-Sakura looked down on Naruto and she thought he was annoying she obviously believe that he will never become Hokage.

-Kushina hated her hair because she was teased by the othe rkids.

-Sakura hates her forehead because she was teased by the other kids.

-Minato saves Kushina and says that her hair is pretty because of that Kushina started liking her hair.

How many times has Naruto saved Sakura???

We know Naruto complimented Sakura on her forehead but he was disguised as Sasuke. This is why I believe Kishi will resolve the bench scene in order to show Sakura that Naruto is her soul mate. Kushina thought Minato was her soulmate because he thought her hair was pretty the same thing will hapen to Naruto and Sakura.

My conclusion some people are a bit in denial that the Minato and Kushina pairing is the exact paralel to Naruto and Sakura and that's why they believe that Hinata and Kushina have something in common to keep a certain pairing alive (including the people from Narutopedia).

Wow, I like those comparisons! Somehow Sakura's expression hugging Naruto is exactly like Kushina's o.O Too bad the circumstances were so...off-putting at the time. I think that really shows that when Sakura was praising Naruto at that moment, she was being totally sincere. :3 cute
