I know. Carolina...with a passing game and it's not just to Steve Smith. It's been a long time. Usually when the running game is as sorry as it is today Carolina is creamed. Is Newton that good or is the Arizona secondary that bad?
I can't remember the last time a Carolina QB threw for 300.

418 yards passing and we still lose.

I know the relief of beating the opponent by a yard. But good for him, he did his best. According to Redzone he tied Stafford for most passing yards ever in a game by a rookie.
And Ted Ginn is Gone! Touchdown 49ers! 102 yards!

This isn't LOL stuff. It's Bobby Knight meltdown stuff.
My other league was just as bad...Mendenhall (i feel your pain on this one), Turner, NYG D, Nate Keading for the kicker, and Miles Austin isn't doing anything. Gah.
My day was the opposite of Insurrection. My real team did better. They lost, but if this wasn't a fluke, Carolina has itself a passing game and if the running game can catch up they have the potential for a very good offense this year. Now only if the defense can catch up, we'll be in business. The NFC South as a whole looked downright putrid (except the Saints).
Anyway, at least it's only week one, so I hope this is an outlier. Speaking of which, Gore and Greene available. I'm looking for QB, WR, and RB.

Basically sums up my week.
Also in another blunder of "infinite wisdom" Dez Bryant is cramping. And Miles Austin just scored a TD in a tug of war, tie goes to Offense.

Week 1 = crazy. All I can say, dood. With Greene I get the bad stat line since they were down so early, Gore I dunno what happened, and Foster was a bad break. On the bright side you have True next week so I might pick against you!
OTOH, holy crap Cam Newton. I dunno how much of that is a "worse than expected even with DRC gone" Cards secondary, but holy crap.
(For the younger readers, a "record store" was a building that you had to go to when you wanted to buy music.)
(For the younger readers, "buying music" was the way we acquired it, since we couldn't just… you know what, let's just get back to the Bowen song. Stupid kids, you ruin everything.)

I did like what i saw from Jones and Bryant though, I think if they both aren't injured too bad they will eventually score me some major points. The pittsburgh defense is what really surprised me, but as I said before the fear is that they are an aging defense.

115 - 111. And he just picked up 3 more points.
Stop throwing to Marshall! Give it to Reggie instead!
