^Which is why FT has potential to fill in Naruto's spot as one of the Big 3 once it ends.

I always thought the Big three referred to the Top three Shounen Jump Weekly Manga's, Fairty Tail is one of the rival publications, If you look at last years Volume Sales I think it already overtook Bleach, but still a bit to go to catch up to Naruto, (and a marathon or two distance to catch up to One Piece). I'm not sure if Fairy Tail will last that long itself, judging from the speed of each Arc, and the fact Lucy has all but two zodiac keys, makes me wonder if Fairy Tail will be over in two or three years.

You never know, Mashima could make it seem like it's about to end but then throw a twist that keeps the manga going on, with the same quality of course.

Fairy Tail x Rave Special is now out, wonder if this means no Fairy Tail this week. You don't realise how similar the charactors look until you see them in a Manga together.

Wow, wonderful chapter. I cried a bit. (hey, I'm knackered from working too much, so I'm allowed to get emotional. )

I wonder if Cana actually told Lucy that Gildarts was her father?

Can't wait to see Fairy Glitter in action. Hopefully it only targets a small area at a time, as it would be cheap if it covered the whole island and made all of Grimoire Heart vanish in one go.

Yeah was quite emotional, specially if you've watched this weeks Anime, where it showed Natsu and Lissana playing with Gildharts.

Quite a coincidence, that the same week the Anime showed Gildhards return, we find our Cana is his Daughter.

Talk about big boots to fill in, wonder if Gildharts knew she is his daughter, or if we'll find a twist where it turns out it wasn't him all along, that would be tragic.

Bit anti-climatic, though with a name like Fairy Glitter I was wondering what it would be.

You'd think that the daughter of the strongest mage would have lasted longer than that, even if a major power-up she didn't manage to do much damage.

I wonder if Lucy is capable of using the Fairy Magic, this sounds similar to the spell implanted inside Lucy's head when fighting Angel, I think that used the powers of the Moon and Stars wonder if this power was introduced to be passed onto Lucy?

The boy at the end should be Zeref right? I think next chapter would be flashbacks of Zeref and Natsu and how they knew each other. I'm guessing Zeref is a dragon slayer too. And since he's power is kinda black, its obvious that the dragon that taught him would be the black dragon that kicked Gildarts's ass. And its still not explained why the 2 dragon slayers were not able to go out of the rune above 80 years old during the Fantasia arc. Even Fairy Tail wiki didn't put Natsu's age. I guess all of this is linked.

@DK: The problem with your theory is that Zeref looks nothing like that boy. Besides, why would he be wearing Natsu's clothes? In my opinion, it's probably just Macao's kid gone Natsu wannabe coming to "save the day."

I don't understand why that boy would be Romeo. That would be an extreme case of random and irrelevance to the story. Unless Mashima is going to reveal him having the strongest magic or something. Zeref does look like the boy. Black hair, the style's the same. And I'm pretty sure he's not Romeo since that panel was a flashback. The colour surrounding the panels were greyed so that scene was in the past.

There is a definite link between Natsu and Zeref when they were younger due to him telling Natsu how much he's grown when they met. I'm guessing Zeref was in Natsu's life before he met Igneel because Natsu didn't remember anything before Igneel. But Zeref knew Natsu so everything fits. That is why the first name that pops in my head when seeing that boy was Zeref. Next chapter would explain all of this. Yep I'm pretty sure of it.

I suppose that could be the case, but it also says that he's carrying the spirit of fairy tail on his back. I'm pretty sure that Zeref was never in Fairy Tail, plus the boy has the standard tattoo on his arm.

Definitely looks like Zeref, and it does make sense he was part of Fairy Tail at some point, explaining why he was on the island.

Originally thought it was Gildarts but doesn't really look much like him, but you can see the resemblence to Zeref.

Makarov is the third Guild Master of Fairy Tail, after Mavis and Hades, so the guild hasn't been around that long. Therefore, Zeref could not possibly have been a member of Fairy Tail in his younger days.

Yeah I know you are correct but if you remember when Laxus tried to take over the guild, Both Natsu and Gajeel could not get out because the barrier holding Makarov saw them both as older than 80.

So we really don't know what's going on as far as age is concerned. The first guild master might have sealed the dragon slayers powers away which caused them to revert back to pre-teen selves.

We also don't know for how long the first Guild master was around, if the second one is still alive and kicking (and apparently in better health than Makarov) who's to say the first guild master wasn't around for centuries, he might not even be human, he could be a celestiel being like Lucy's summons.

Well if you're suggesting Zeref was sealed away centuries ago hence can't be a member of Fairy Tail, then how do you explain him knowing Natsu? So from here its either Natsu is also a few centuries old and he was "rebooted" with a young body with his previous memories gone or Zeref met him a few years ago. And there is also the case thats mentioned by harry4e where Natsu and Gajeel were unable to cross the rune barrier restricting those above 80 year olds. I'm sure them being dragon slayers have something do to with it.

Well, Fairy Tail is mainly a shounen battle manga, but there are some nice scenes between Natsu and Lucy, and there are also a couple of specials that focuses on them.

@harry and Darth Krypt:

We don't know how long Natsu was alive for when he joined Fairy Tail. The dragons spoke of the Slayers having met each other before, so it's possible that Natsu and the others were reincarnated. After all, Natsu and Wendy are supposed to have met before, yet they do not remember each other. Zeref could possibly have not been reincarnated - either because he's not a Dragon Slayer, or because he never got the chance to reincarnate while he was sealed away.

So, my theory is that Zeref met Natsu in his "first life". OR, perhaps the man we see isn't actually Zeref's real body, and he's actually a missing Fairy Tail member who has been possessed with the spirit of Zeref.

Either way, we should find out very soon.
