He was double covered the whole night. And when he did get in single coverage, Trent never pulled the trigger. You guys did a lot of things right tonight. I don't think the patriots are anywhere near as good as they use to be especially on defense. Net time you play them in buffalo, and they take advantage of that single coverage, then I think you guys can beat them.

Cardinals 31 Jaguars 17
Redskins 9 Rams 7
Saints 48 Eagles 22
Jets 16 Patriots 9
Raiders 13 Chiefs10
Texans 34 Titans 31
Bengals 31 Packers 24
Vikings 27 Lions 13
Falcons 28 Panthers 20
Kolb played decent in the 1st Half, but Special Teams mistakes made it easy for the Saints to run away with it. The defense got tore up, and Kolb isn't the guy who's gonna bring you back to win a game. If Mcnabb is ready to go next week, then he should start. However, I feel Kolb would be able to do the job against KC if need be. If the Eagles can go into the bye 2-1, I'll consider it a success.
Couple of upsets by the Texans and Bengals, and the Jets did what they said they would do by beating the Pats for the second straight game. The Pats look very beatable, they definitely don't look as dominant as they used to be.

Broncos:27 Browns:6
Sunday Night Football: New York Giants:33 Dallas:31
Tonight The Colts are playing the Dolphins in Miami.
Kolb did alright. Im not going to say he did enough to win, because he had trouble getting first downs at times,a dnw hile he didn't stink it up out there, he definetly isn't fit to start regularly yet. Against KC, fine. But I sure miss Donovan. And I hope the Panthers go 3-13 this season. Id want them to go 0-16 but they play our division this year.

That last play with Ray Lewis was definitely impressive but I'd have to blame Norv Turner's horrible play calling. 4th and 2 and you run a HB draw with a 5'7 Darren Sproles? Really? What the hell was he thinking? At least try running a screen instead of running it up the middle without a power back.
Very glad with what the Ravens are doing so far with Joe Flacco improving his passing game (against the KC defense sure not impressive, but definitely so against San Diego's) and not afraid to throw the ball for 20+ yards. Will really be tested against the Steelers defense though. Hoping the team will become fully balanced once the defensive coverage is fixed.

I hate to say it, but the Giants deserve to be number 1.

This just in: The Detroit Lions win their first game since 2007, in a 19-14 Victory over the Washington Redskins, who shall be the laughing stock of the NFL this week. Time to pop the Chambubbly!

Scores for the early games
Ravens 34 Browns 3
Giants 24 Buccaneers 0
Eagles 34 Chiefs 14
Jets 24 Titans 17
Patriots 26 Falcons 10
Vikings 27 49ers 24
Packers 36 Rams17
I'm comfortable with the Eagles going 2-1 into the BYE. Mcnabb and Westbrook should be rested and healthy, while the next 3 teams the birds play are beatable. There's a chance they can be 5-1 going into the Giants game. Desean Jackson took another step to becoming an elite WR, so much talent, and he's only going to get better. Also, Brent Celek has been the Best Tight End in the NFL early on, he's really coming into his own.

This does my heart good.

The Bengals are better than expected, they couldve been 3-0 had it not been for that lucky tip against Denver.
Final scores from the late games
Jaguars 31 Texans 24
Saints 27 Bills 7
Bengals 23 Steelers 20
Broncos 23 Raiders 3
Chargers 23 Dolphins 13
Bears 25 Seahawks 19
Broncos 3-0, Saint continue to roll, and the Phins in a hole at 0-3.
