Yeah. Enough of the rage comments from other fandoms. rubbing it in their faces is just what they do to us when there is NH moments too, so let us not replicate them

Sasuke has determined his protection to the village by being its Hokage and not caring for anyone's opinion. Naruto has remembered Itachi's words, and he wants to be Hokage and in the right way, not like Sasuke. Sasuke saw from Hashirama's story that he should be the Hokage of the village by changing in its way to be better, but not caring for what others think or to be acknowledged as a Hokage. That's why he was acting like this.

Naruto vs Sasuke battle is going to be based on this.

I would say he was more aloof and uncaring about other people's opinion as always. It's heightened in this chapter because Team Hawk doesn't question Sasuke as much as The 9 are doing right now.

That is what you're seeing here. Everyone is having to put their personal qualms aside for the time being and deal with Madara and the Juubi or they are toast.

Once this is done I see the personal matters getting addressed so for the moment, yeah, it's going to be "weird". Hell, I bet it feels weird to them. I wouldn't be surprised if next chapter we get some internal dialogue from some of the characters regarding the new arrivals but they will sit it aside and fight.

Not even just that, but no reaction to Orochimaru helping them? None? Orochimaru, who's supposed to be dead, who was their biggest enemy for the longest time, now helping them? No shocked expression or anything?

This would be interesting, and sounds like a good excuse for a Naruto vs. Sasuke. However, Sasuke's villain buildup is still ultimately wasted, and that would've been the biggest driving force for that fight.

Oh hey Zacra!!! What's up!!?? Yeah kinda unrealistic there that everyone is so accepting of former enemies. Although perhaps they are in a war right now so there is no time to question it yet . They might after the battle. Maybe. And Yeah I'd have preferred it If Sasuke was still a villain for that upcoming fight too, but it doesn't have to be a hero vs. villain battle to be interesting. If it is done well, who can complain?

Has he arrived yet? I didn't see him if he did but honestly I couldn't see too far past my nosebleed anyway.

I don't see Orochimaru jumping in like the others did though. He'll be a damn snake and hide in the shadows and poop on the Juubi when it isn't looking.

Hey Phantom Yeah I'd get not extensively questioning it yet, but the lack of any reactions whatsoever in expression or a few words of objection really makes the execution kinda sloppy. Especially on the Orochimaru part. It's not only unrealistic, it's a bit OOC.

He didn't jump in, but the kage mentioned that it was Orochimaru who revived them and sent them to help.

Actually, I think the response to Orochimaru helping them is going to be addressed when he shows up. Too much happened in this chapter, and the main focus on it was Minato interactions with NS, Sasuke's arrival and the reactions that resulted and Team 7 fighting together.

Yeah. Seems it's about ideology and being Hokage in the right way.

Yeah, it's the aftermath that I'm actually curious to see. I think it'll determine if Kishi really loves Sasuke that much or not. For me, at least.

The problem of Naruto not questioning anything still stands, especially when Orochimaru is now said to be an ally. Sasuke's mistakes being completely dropped by Naruto and Sakura, especially Sakura, is also a problem. And Madara is still being given an OOC rape face.

Good things about this chapter? The third getting a line of dialogue. Minato kicking ass. The NaruSaku reference was fun too, but honestly, it should be expected of Kishimoto. Just like Sakura's speech last week. It's good that he put it in, but after all of the past buildup, it should be downright expected of him. The only reason it wasn't is because he's proven to be iffy in his writing lately.

My fear of Sasuke's buildup as a villain being being wasted has been completely realized now, meaning no last Naruto vs. Sasuke climax, which was also wasted buildup now.

This was actually kind of a downgrade from last week's chapter, where its only shortage of being great was the last panel.

Well naruto and sakura aren't saying or caring about the stuff Sasuke did because well there are a few good reasons.
1. Minato told naruto and sakura himself about Sasuke coming to help.
2. Naruto can trust his dad, sakura put her faith in naruto when it came to Sasuke.
3. Naruto always had faith in Sasuke, even when Sasuke was in crazy physco path mode in the land of iron.
4 it's an enemy of my enemy type deal, Sasuke wants to become hokage to change things himself just like Madara and it's this divide which will bring naruto and Sasuke into one last fight and bring about a new shinobi era.
5. The most powerful uchiha ever Is right in front of them and ultimately unstoppable, not to mention the god demon beast the ten tails, it will end the world if it gets the chance, not really the place to fuss about this stuff.

I mean in the marvel series, several times galactus has tried to destroy the earth but in many of these times, it took the combined efforts of both heroes and villains to stop galactus from consuming the earth. No world means nothing to conquer so obviously the villains had to work with the heroes in hese situations. Heck in the justice league series from 2003 the final episode had batman, superman, and lex Luther all team up to fight darkseid one of the most powerful characters in the do universe. Same situation here in a nutshell.

Are you talking about Naruto's reaction to Sasuke? Hmm, who knows about that right now ^^;
