Aaw, I don't think Family Guy's that bad. One thing a friend of mine and I like to do is just kick back with some pizza and watch Family Guy episodes after a day of classes. Really fun and relaxing~

It wasn't that bad. I used to enjoy like you...(maybe an arrow in the knee joke) but then Seth kinda beats a dead horse.

That reminds me of an artist named Loreena McKennit (sp). She does songs from different cultures. Her song Old Ways is very similar to this. Fiddles and all.

What prompted you to start looking up Irish music?

Scottish, for the most part, actually--and I just felt like it I guess. Started with the Celtic Woman group, moved to the Jig of Slurs, and went looking for fiddle jigs from there.

*shrug* I've always liked Celtic/Scottish folk music, specially when fiddles are included.

I actually had to go listen to it when I mentioned it. The drums are so awesome. Probably why I like African music a lot. They are percussion heavy.

I'm a fan of heavy drums--might be something to my taste, then.

Not metal heavy. Just most of the music comes from changing what is being hit. And drums and clockblocks and things like that make the music.
