What do you guys think this "New Era Project" bidness is all about?

 

If Kishi really is planning on ending it with the movie then this just sort of makes things confusing. And also dwindles the chances of NS family which makes me :(

New era is about naruto era.
The era where naruto generation take the lead and more active role.
For me, Part 2 is about past and war arc is the conclusion of the past, so the characters could move on to the future, the new era.

Hey I'm not sure if you guys already brought this up, but I looked over at Sasuke's design in The LAST:

 

Then I thought what if those are bandages around Sasuke's head, and not a turban. This came to my mind:

 

 

 

 

He had this look during the fight against Itachi. So maybe he's got on to prep himself for the fight against Naruto (not the one we're about to get in a few days) Also regarding the necklaces hanging around this neck, I remember Itachi also had necklaces around his neck too. Also keep in mind we don't get a fully body design for Sasuke it's a close up which could be the top portion of his head is blocked off.

My theory of Sasuke traveling the world after his fight with naruto is looking more and more plausible with his new look!!

This is also making my hope for a NS moment that I have been brainstorming for the past two weeks might actually come true!!!

Yeah, he definitely looks like he's living a somewhat nomadic lifestyle, which, as I believe Chatte has hypothesized, also means that Team Taka will be in the picture, as well. What he hopes to accomplish has yet to be seen, however. Also makes me wonder how the fight between him and Naruto will be resolved, such that an affiliation with a village doesn't seem to be in the cards for him.

 

Also, if you don't mind my asking, what theory/moment did you have in mind?

This is supposed to be a thread talking about the movie, not about posting SS art and commenting on how "good" it looks. 

 

About all of this /\ ....

 

1. It is acceptable to like and post about SS or NH here.  Users should know this, and not badger others about holding different opinions.

 

2. However, it is preferred to place photos or art behind a spoiler tag -- especially if it is potentially agitating.  That accomplishes two things:

 

(a) it shows consideration for others;

(b) it prevents the same image from being splashed all over the thread when it is quoted repeatedly.  

 

3. The SS art was technically relevant because it was based on images from the new movie -- which is more than can be said about some of the other content posted on this thread.

 

The bottom line is, most of this stuff is just common sense.  All pairings and opinions are welcome, but a lot of people here are sensitive to some pairing content.  So put it behind a cut, okay?  That way no rules are broken but it's not necessarily in everyone's face.

If Kakashi is hokage in the movie then that means Naruto will become Hokage during the movie, wow talk about kitten writing. Being hokage and surpassing the other hokages was Naruto's dream and goal in part 1, that's what made his character endearing and that's what made people support him in his struggles but now it has been relegated to an epilogue movie that I will most likely never watch ; so really part 2 Naruto was all about saving Sasuke from himself without any considerations for what part 1 Naruto stood for ? I really hope all of this is wrong and most important plot points will be resolved in the manga (not only Sasuke's redemption).

Hmmm oh we have a curious one here yes yes!!! I would be glad to and I'll try to shorten it a bit but still leave the good parts in cause I thought the whole thing out as a whole chapter lol

Naruto and Sasuke stare at each other.....

Sasuke: You are gonna end it huh?

Naruto: That's right!!!

Sasuke: Naruto.....don't think I don't know that's just all talk you are spouting out.

Sasuke: I have gotten used to using my Rinnegan powers during the coarse of the war, but I have also been paying attention of how your powers work as well!!! And right now you are just running on fumes and don't have enough chakra to use the tailed beasts chakra inside you......these eyes see everything!!!!

The Sage of six paths says some last words before disappears and then we turn to Kakashi and Sakura as they watch on. Kakashi wonders just what is Sasuke truly thinking and before he could think any further Sakura jumps towards the scene and gets in between Naruto and Sasuke. She then asks why Sasuke is doing what he is doing and what he is hoping to accomplish from it. Sasuke then answers her back of what his "revolution" intends and on how he should be the one true hokage. And just as he says that Sakura boldly says....

Sakura: No! The one I believe to become hokage is Naruto!!! Not you Sasuke!!!!

Naruto: Sakura-chan.....

Sasuke: "cold serious stare" .......

Kakashi then intervenes before anything could happen but Sasuke Insteads says that if you feel that way then go ahead and give naruto enough chakra so that we can end this properly......"I'll be waiting"......and then leaves. Everyone looks on as he left and Kakashi says that he was going after him to get a better explanation and to leave Naruto's treatment to Sakura. (NS moment ENGAGED!!)

Sakura begins giving Naruto the last of her yin Seals chakra from behind his back.....

Sakura: ......so you are really gonna go through with this huh?
Naruto: ......yeah....if I don't do something now then there would really be no way of stopping Sasuke afterwards......I'm sorry Sakura-chan...

Sakura begins to remember Naruto's words back in the land of iron of both him and Sasuke dying if they fought again. Before the anxiety gripped her....

Sakura: Naruto....do you think you can win?
Naruto: honestly......I don't really know but I'm gonna try my best nonetheless!!!

Sakura: !?.........so will you rea-

Naruto: Sakura-chan.........I know this isn't really the best time.....but there's something I've been wanting to tell you.....for a really long time now.....but never had the guts to actually say it......and right now would be my last chance to say it because I don't know what's about to happen....

Sakura: !!?........."gritting her teeth"......
Naruto: Sakura-chan......I.....

Sakura: DONT SAY IT!!!!!
Naruto: !?

Naruto looking shocked but happy at the same time gives a small grin. Sakura's yin seal completely disappears and Naruto transforms into his Six Sage Chakra Mode!! And as soon as he transforms he turns his new determined eyes forward and says......

Naruto: I PROMISE!!!!

This has been running in my head over and over again and I've been trying to make it as non completely canon as possible but make it seem that there is hope for the future for it :). Honestly this would all look better if it was in manga form and not just writing format.....Trust me!! Lol but yeah here ya go and enjoy!!! XD

I really hope your right. I really want to see NS family. But I heard from you know who twice that the movie will be the final chapter if the series.

 

But then the movie being the start of a new era project is confusing.....Is Naruto gonna have a Legend of Korra or something?
