I don't know, that would seem to direct, the story never seem to be that direct when it came to pairings (if it was, then I doubt this whole pairing wars would have happen, well at least not to the degree it is now). Not only that, but even the Narusaku moments we had in the movie, no matter how much implication we got in this film, didn't make seem THAT obvious Narusaku was the most possible pairing. If he did, they would have ended the movie with Sakura accepting Naruto's date, not tease him about it, giving the impression that Sakura may one day actually go out with him (I mean a REAL date).
Good point.
Well, I'm not good at alternating the scenes in the movie, so I made it direct. Point is a what if question like the role has been reversed. They get what they wanted and we get none. Like let's say the balcony scene was the last scene before she leaves, leaving it a high note. Let's say Naruto and Hinata were at the top of the mountain, making Naruto realized that Hinata is right for him, noting himself to meet Hinata back in the real world. Stuff like that. You know what's funny? The fact that Kishi left it as a tease like "Sakura's in love with Naruto? Read manga!" Again, he could have ended their bond theme by Sakura punching Naruto and say "You wish! Shannaro!" But instead, he left the audience wondering of she's really interested in Naruto, which newer audience will be interested to see. That and Kishi could have ended by having her hugging her parents and that will be it for them. So yeah, obviously the date request is a great tease, not to mention they had a development with each other.
Okay, I should answer my own question. To be honest, the day when the one shot chapter released, I was neutral yet confused on what's going on. Oh don't get me started on what happened in this forum. It was pretty depressing to say the least. Anyway, if what I said were true, I will be so lost and perhaps feel betrayed by Kishi. I would have to reread to figure out if this is truly his intention. Whether I like it or not, I will accept it, but I will be disappointed to see a manga that had the theme going well being damaged. Again, there are people that see his romance for Sakura following the story well. In the end, I will accept it but yeah my like to Naruto will be damaged.
It's nice to see your responses, everyone. Yeah Ladygt, it's rather sad for them. It was the darkest day. Which is why I ask this question to us. So far, it's been good.
