Yes, it's a different situation. If she wasn't afraid of an enemy, she wouldn't be afraid of someone that Naruto trusts and sees as a friend.

Well, it's was a secret tablet, that is writen to how obtain sharingan at first. It's not just a plate without nothing on it for normal eyes.
