Again like I said, when people talk about a movie having a negative return is when the movie flopped by a lot. Other than that, they won't waste their time talking about it.

Of course, this film just happens to be the largest monetary venture that Pierrot has undertaken in the Naruto universe, and yet any unattainable projections would be simply be swept under the rug as though it never existed despite the fact that an admission of deficits existing with previous Naruto films has already been brought to public attention.
 

You're giving me numbers that ARE REVENUE, not PROFIT. I'm not gulling myself to anything, I'm just not jumping the gun for anything. I don't look at big numbers and say "wow that looks nice". Don't start accusing somebody of doing something. The attribute that drove many to The Last was that it was going to be like that last film, a film to "conclude" the series.

I understand that its revenue (or gross profit without the deductions and expenditures subtracted from the total amount), Conch. What I'm attempting to get across to you is the implausibility of this film's budget and promotional expenses being an enormous multiple that dwarfs the investment of its predecessors.

Even when making these calculations using the $12 million estimate of development that some tumblr user fabricated, to suggest the film's earnings s of ¥1.86 billion doesn't outbalance expenses i false.

Unless you're going to offer up an even larger production/promotion estimate that deflates the film's current box office standing from positive to a deficit, it's fairly clear with the officially stated earnings and success that "The Last" has made its return back.
 

Also why would ramen need a source if he himself stated he saw way more advertisement. He's not just going to pull something out of his ass.

 

Honest as he may be, Ramen is not some infallible wellspring of news that acts as a universal thermometer for Japanese opinion or officially released information. He's just one person listening to what is readily available to him. I question how active he's been on this forum and how involved he was in following the activities of a movie that was released three years ago.
 

And as I said before, I know it was advertised at a notable quantity. But The Last was advertised more, way more. It created even bigger hype.

Oddly enough, I didn't feel the same anticipation for "The Last" as with Road to Ninja. But that may just a byproduct of my passion for Naruto having decreased these last few years. Plus, the anime was never relevant in my mind so I mostly dismissed this film until the remaining few weeks leading up to its premiere.

The "way more" tidbit is exaggerating The Last's relative promotional value compared to Road to Ninja. A discrepancy exists between them, but it's not to such a degree that one is dwarfed by the other.
 

Triple the investment would be really great and ideal, but twice is the minimal possible number you can to say it was a successful. It depends how much they earn after they earn back their costs, just because they earn a little more than what they spent doesn't really mean it was a success.

They're earning a net profit of some amount regardless of size. If these anticipations for a net earning of double or triple were the determining factor in Pierrot's success with the Naruto films then they haven't been meeting the expected standards of success with these movies, have they?

   You know, I wasn't going to jump in this weird ass discussion, but you are being incredibly unfair. You're making generalizations based off of one-sided, incomplete information, and passing it off as fact. Is it fact that men are "selfish in bed", whatever the kitten that means, or is it fact that you've read posts on forums claiming they are?

I'm not trying to interject myself in this discussion, I'm just saying that you should be aware that you tend to generalize a set group a lot without any real information. Some men may only care about themselves, but others do not, and you don't have the right to make any assertions otherwise.

I can totally see her talking to Kurama, even 2-3 necessary words without shaking. I can imagine her smiling and being kind. Naruto trusts Kurama, Hinata doesn't have to be scared of him.

Also, you act like no women enjoy it, and that they all fake orgasms, like men are the most incompetent things on the planet. Might be news to you, but not all men enjoy every sexual encounter, and men are just as capable as faking orgasms and what not.

Don't know exactly when they left ,but SJ has the politic of changing editors after a given time ,so its pretty much obvious all of them left. If im not mistaken one of these old editors is the responsible for naruto's sd and sasuke's new sd series

Don't really know how these new editors were but by seeing how the story turned out we can pretty much guess that they weren't very competent ...

Nupe ! Yahagi is the only editor in that pic ! the others are Kishi's assistants !
