Actually, he is an "antagonist."

An antagonist  is a character, group of characters, or institution that represents the opposition against which the protagonist or protagonists must contend. In other words, an antagonist is a person or a group of people who oppose the main character(s).

You don't technically have to be evil to be an antagonist. Just something that opposes the main protagonist in some way, shape, or form. Sasuke was always an antagonist or opposition to Naruto. The only difference was in what way he was an antagonist. I guess you could technically call him an Anti-Villain, but I am not sure. It's hard to know whether Sasuke's intent is actually for a greater good or just because he wants it his way.

The thing he doesn't really fit into any of those categories. But he does have traits that "make" him into an antagonist.

Let's just say that Sasuke's place in this story is confusing and everyone will have different ideas to what Sasuke's purpose in this story is or his place.

 

So maybe if I try to destroy the government in my country and kill the president of my country then maybe his daughter will fall in love with me and I will become the president then and have all the respect and all the people will love me   seems legit    . Sasuke should open a school for how to be an ASS it will make your life so much easier  I bet this is his plan for his Revolution     .

pretty much... look at the analogies... it's something kittening similar. If Kakashi will be really the sixt hokage, it's pretty the same analogy of  that page..

Jiraiya was rejected by  tsunade, his love interest.

Jiraiya failed to save his master, the hokage

Jiraiya failed to save his favourite pupil, the hokage

Jiraiya failed to bring back Orochimaru at the village, the dark and cool guy.

 

Naruto is in love with Sakura

Naruto is trying to save his master, the probably Hokage.

Naruto could save his pupil in some future, perhapes Konohamaru or whetever.

Naruto is trying to bring back Sasuke at the village, the dark and cool guy.

 

And there are also analogies with team Minato and with the 3 orphans from Amegakure.

Opponent? Hmm...well, we are having the Naruto vs Sasuke fight which means that yes, Sasuke is Naruto's opponent.
Competitor? I'd say that is a big yes. Even inadvertently. Naruto competed with Sasuke over Sakura's affection, they competed over power, and they competed over many other things as well.
Enemy? That's a bit tough one to call, but he has been on-again-off-again enemy.
Rival? Wasn't Sasuke's entire point of existence was to be Naruto's rival?

I'm sorry but saying that Kishi teased/foreshadowed that Kakashi will be the Hokage is like saying NaruHina has been teased/foreshadowed.

And by that I mean it has never been foreshadowed at all. When Shikaku nominated Kakashi as the Hokage he did it so Danzo won't be the Hokage, and now we have Obito saying that Kakashi will be seventh Hokage, therefore Kakashi will be Hokage. Period.

What authority does Obito have anyway?

 

Also do you really want me to just destroy Kakashi and explain why exactly he shouldn't be given any position of a leader? Because I can.

That is quite possibly the thing I give the least amount of kitten about. he's experienced he's more qualified than most other people anyway and Kishi needs to keep him in the plot somehow before he ends the series with the movie if he didn't people would complain.

Rokudaime Kakashi is fine for me. There are the possibility that Kakashi is the rokudaime in the beginning of the movie and we could see Naruto as the Nanadaime in the final part of the movie.

In my opinion, Kishimoto was already thinking about this development for Kakashi. He presented this possibility in some opportunities.

I don't mind how it sounds, besides 7 is a good number that represents Naruto well. 

Technically speaking Naruto will be the eighth Hokage, because Danzo was the sixth Hokage (for a very short period of time but no one even cares about that guy, he's like that guy with the scare face ), so the lucky number actually goes to Kakashi.
