Actually, it's the reserve of what you're claiming. I've acknowledged in the past that fan reception in particular circles was lukewarm, but that dislike doesn't extend to everyone. More importantly, the studio's aims have to do with its profit, which is the point of interest right now. How much the film is earning at the box office and what the profit figures are like. You can decry and taunt the film all you want, but it doesn't change the numbers or the people who actually do like it.

Sorry, but numbers of stupid people, doesn't mean that movie was good, or that it's deserves anything good from normal people. YES, it's like that, but who's fault that NH/SS fandom just that big? I already told you that it's succes, so don't bother to count exactly HOW succesful it is, if you don't actually intrested in it. Being money or succesful in loud crowd of NH/SS fans doesn't mean that this film is pure kitten in terms of Naruto franchise.

This roundabout hope for a potential deficit is unsupportable based on the studio's previous production and promotion costs, as well as what websites specifically dedicated to providing the latest market information on anime have been saying.

But all the websites are doing is providing the information on how much revenue it earned, that's what they do. They will talk about how much money it makes regardless if it was low or high

I distinctly remember a prologue chapter being released in order to inspire curiosity and desire for Road to Ninja. "The Last" was also supported in manga format by Kishi, but the spin-off chapter was released following the movie's release iirc. Moreover, it was also heavily marketed through assorted merchandise bits like "Sasuke flavour" cologne. RtN was the precursor to "The Last" because of its heavy emphasis on promotion, including the flirtation of Kishi as an involved story writer for the movie. This current film is an inflated variant of that tactic.

You're not wrong, but The Last did way more promoting and merchandise than any of the past. Restaurants, soundtracks, Hinata clocks, more commercials, etc.

The budget was amplified several times over compared to earlier Naruto films, true. But I'm discussing its budget relative to other series of equal or similar acclaim.

When the most recent earnings at the box office are shown to be at or above the mark of 2 billion Yen, you can safely conclude that "The Last" has certainly earned back its investment and more. That is unless you're going to argue that the budget for this film is so unevenly bloated it's something like 500-1000% above the cost of standard Naruto films

Like it's been said, nobody knows what their budget was. What is clear was that it's more than any other Naruto film, and from their you can make your own assumptions on whether it's successful or not. Remember a film is only considered successful if it net profited at least twice the costs. That's why I don't know if it's a success or failure because a lot of things are a mystery as of now. 

I'm entertaining your claim of the twitter account being illegitimate notwithstanding to the petitions and release of the movie in multiple countries, including some not originally referenced beyond the seven.

Your claim was that the official account for the movie was asking tor petitions, I was only saying how it's not from an official account.

What reason does Kurama have to hate Hinata? I don't think he really cares about pairings one way or the other.
 

I know we all hate NH, but you have to be reasonable as well lol. There's been nothing to support that he hates or dislikes either Hinata or Sakura.
