I think SSM for Sakura is very possible cause she already has a seal and can summon slugs. By seal, I mean that she has the advance that she got SSM cause she already learned and have the Yin seal which isn't an easy task and give her the advantage to have SSM. Plus, like we know, Obito is weak for Senjutsu attacks, and by Sakura having the ability to summon slugs, an easy reveal brought about Sakura having SSM. Kishi can make it at anytime that she got it when she wants to attack or defend or whatever. That's my take on it. Only the chapters will tell us if she has it or not.

 

By the way, Sakura could have learned SSM when Naruto was away to the island, forgot its name if it does has one, and having the slugs or Katsuyu taught her about the technique like the frogs did with Naruto.

Yes indeed she probably heard it, but I think the "!" is at the fact that others are coming too. The other guys have it as well so it's probably a reaction panel to the ones coming.

But Obito was yelling, i really doesnt have an opinion on it, she could or she could not, but since there was any necessity for her to be shown on this page, then i think she probably heard about it, just a guess.

yeah she heard everything . I don't think Kishi would put her there directly after the statement for no reason . Kishi does that all the time like with the speech that Hinata gave Naruto and the way Sakura's face was .

that was just Hinata who has noticed the arrival of other hokages, nothing more nothing less... If you notice it, hinata isn't the only one who get "!", also the alliance behind her reacted to something, the arrival of other hokage in fact :) Don't overthinking over guys

The same thing happened when 615 was there, and also everyone reacted to the kages arrival even Sakura. but it's a possibility due to 633, self friendzone speech.

until we get a confirmation that she was reacting to Naruto and Sakura, we can only assume the thing she was reacting to was the very next page where all of the kages show up in badass poses ready to fight the Juubi. Now Sakura has shown to be astute when it comes to picking up on things about other people and when she is training. With her comprehensive understanding of the chakra network and its manipulation she could reasonably learn how to gather natural energy and apply it to her physical stamina and spiritual energy. The question is how long it would take her to master this skill. After three months under Tsunade's tutelage she was able to revive a fish from near death. This is when she was just starting to delve into the medical profession, learning the principals of healing ninjutsu and the knowledge from Tsunade's library relating to illnesses. Tsunade was impressed by her ability to quickly master the jutsu she was being taught. Her quickness is attested to in that moment.

From what can be gathered of Katsuyu, her abilities seem to have a connection with Tsunade's Byakugou Seal and restorative techniques in general. If the talents of a shinobi who concentrates their chakra into healing and remote distribution are prerequisites for Slug senjutsu then Sakura would have an advantage when training. There's still some mysteries about how closely related Tsunade's medical ninjutsu is with the slugs, but if Jiraiya and Orochimaru are any indications, it's possible that all or most of Tsunade's jutsu knowledge, including battle tactics and fighting style, are an inspiration of the slugs. Katsuyu's ability to disperse its body into thousands of smaller offspring does seem reminiscent of the Byakugou/Sozo Saizei's forte of accelerating the division of the human body's cells to heal injuries. Those theories about Tsunade's Seal being an inspiration of the slugs' natural talents and school of senjutsu may not be so unlikely after all. Were it true, it would be very similar to the Curse Seal and its loose affiliations with Ryuchidou's snakes.

Now for the other consideration, we have to know if there isn't a requirement of having a resilient body like the frogs' and snakes' brand of senjutsu. Given Kishi's style of writing placing a great importance on symmetrical harmony whenever concepts relating to duality are brought up, it would be logical to assume that the slugs have a similar demand for any humans wishing to become sages. When you also consider that the slugs have an aptitude for withstanding great amounts of physical trauma, including those affiliated with the slugs like Tsunade, it seems more and more probable that having a resilient body is a necessity to survive the training.

Has Sakura proven herself to be physically hardened? She hasn't really been placed in too many situations where her body's ability to withstand damage and recover could be assessed. The worst situation was during the Sasori fight when she was impaled in the abdomen with a poison stained sword. Sakura demonstrated that she could maintain herself well enough to try and heal the injury but the poison was hindering her ability to manipulate chakra. Soon afterwards she lost consciousness temporarily, even after the antidote had been injected and would therefore convert the poisonous substance into proteins. But Sasori explained that her state of health was due to him piercing a vital area and with the excessive loss of blood she would die soon.

All in all, there isn't really enough evidence one way or the other to prove that Sakura has the endurance for senjutsu (if it's actually a requirement of the slugs). We can believe whatever we want but it's ultimately Kishi's decision to make Sakura into a sage. Personally I'm skeptical because when I see Orochimaru, a man whose body is practically the epitome of survivability and restoration, fail at senjutsu because he doesn't have the physical health to endure it, I question if anyone who isn't a Senju or Uzumaki would have the endurance to master the training. But that's just me.

That's a different topic though. My apologies for the digression of the NaruSaku debate.

During the time that Naruto was on the island Sakura would've been preparing for the war, traveling to Lighting Country and basic prep work we saw prior to Gaara's speech.

 

 

Also It didn't take Naruto long to learn Sage Mode, plus it was required that Naruto and Jiraiya had to go to Mount Myoboku to learn Sage Mode. It also stated by Kabuto  that he (and Orochimaru) had to travel to Ryuchi Cave to learn Snake Sage Mode, there is no reason to doubt that it would be any different for Slug Sage Mode.

I feel like the more stalling of ending the pairing is coming from us for overthinking. That's ironic. Lol. But seriously, it is what it is. After all, she was in frontline with others, so it's understandable for them to react as a someone is approaching. The only part I questioned is Naruto's understanding of Sasuke, which I do believe he knows best that Sasuke is still cold, because if he knew that he was coming, why would he questioned himself after Minato told him his friend is coming and in the good side. I think Naruto caught on his BS when he talks to Konoha. The only problem is that he's in combat so he will be off-guard by Sasuke the more focus he put on the villains.

Kishi's character development has been terrible lately and I find it extremely disappointing considering this is the penultimate arc. All we've seen so far is flip-flopping of characters. Personally I don't think that Hashirama's Sage Mode is Slug Sage Mode. After all Sage Mode techniques a called Senjutsu.

Someone in the battlefield must address the type of sage mode that Hashirama has in order to confirm it. That said I don't know if it's slug sage mode until someone point it out. Maybe Tsunade could say it, I don't know.

I fairly believe that Hashirama's Sage Mode is Mokuton Sage Mode... And it would be connected to the Slugs though.

Think about it... Slugs live in forest, forest - wood.

And it's this whole thing about the Sakura tree, God tree, yadda yadda.

In the end being that the Slugs live in Forests both Sage Modes could be linked.
That's just one of my presumptions.
