The main problem is the language. People here don't really like watching subbed movies. If it'd have been a regular animation film then that's a different story all together. But something like Naruto won't really fare good despite the population. There are NHtards here and of course.....series fans. They'd like watching this movie but with that insane ticket prices, "kitten it! I'd download its torrent instead" is what you are gonna get. So really...its no use releasing it here. Naruto fans don't even make 1% of the population

Well...only his dream of watching it with his girlfriend  ...but I just sarcastically told him not to feel bum or anything and just go ahead and watch it...and I was like   inwardly when I watch that despair and afraid of the let down he will get after watching the movie playing in his eye

Some of it was sarcastic. But I legitimately would not have too many reservations with Hinata being tortured both physically and psychologically.

Well if you're going to assault the hive of ill-repute and debasement itself then you should carry a smoke bomb and flail on your person as well. The flail is to defend yourself and the smoke bomb can help in creating a swift exit.

Even if the percentage of viewers is only 0.1% of India's population, that's still 1.25 million customers. New Zealand's total population is less than four times that amount. Which do you think is the more advantageous country to premiere the film in? 

 

Edit: I do wonder how many other countries Pierrot intends to market the film in.

me like the way you think   *returns to watching dbz dvd set*  compared to the pathetic power lvl 50 of naruto, dbz's power lvl of awesomeness is over 9000 xD at least to me. you know, if we measured how good the series are by power lvls to mess around xD

I still feel that India isn't a good place to release a movie like Last! The calculation sure is right! But that is with respect to the total population. The only chance they have here is in big cities like Bombay, Banglore, Delhi and Calcutta. Even here...they can get 1 screen at the most since others are taken by Hollywood and Bollywood movies. So that 0.1% reduces further. You release it in selected areas, that too you get less screens and upon that...the amount of people watching it is even lesser than 0.1% of the total population. Out of those, the people who are ready to watch the movie paying that insane price for a ticket are very very less. Normal people who don't know Naruto won't even buy the tickets when they hear about the price. They won't recover their expenses over here.
