Speaking of Shounen, some of you might light Boku no Hero Academia. Everything looks generic, but surprisingly it is an enjoyable manga. Our MC is not the typical stupid shounen hero (aka Naruto), but actually very smart and strategic.

2 general types of MC - not intelegant in general with will power and rough streght (Naruto/Luffy/Natsu/Ichigo) and overpowered and smart - Kenshiro, Jotaro, Kenshin.

I suck at writing and would probably just join FF.net to leave of some of my reviews/ critique to some nice NS and Naruto fanfics in general.

I have a hard time finding good NS writers. Can you give me a few suggestions?

Don't worry! The SS ones in my faves are cause they're well-written and convincing. I actually don't mind SS, but only in fanfics where he's written as more compassionate and caring than his canon character.... So if I like Sasuke in fanfics when he's completely different, then that's the same as not liking the manga Sasuke at all, right?   hahaha! 

Seriously, a few fanfics helped me see a different side of some of the characters, like Sasuke and Gaara, which helps me write them better. But Naruto and Sakura always have such good chemistry, in almost every fix I've read it's hard to be convinced that they should be with someone else!

 

 

I figured that was the case and I was joking anyway :) I can't judge anyway since there are some NH fics I enjoy quite a bit.

Fanfiction Sasuke is usually better developed with Sakura but from an AU fanfic, I adore canon Mozzarella Sasuke but not with Sakura, I only wanted him to acknowledge her not be with her because they barely know each other and her character is mostly hated for being a fangirl, moving on from him would have been a better choice for her.

Well, Deku, I mean Izuku, is given his power, but it's his job to learn how to control it. But there is of course, a lot more to to his character than these two descriptions. He can be quite the crybaby, is humble, and a little bit dorky. And even if he's turns out to be like option 2 of your description, it's not generally something negative in my eyes. It's up to the mangaka how he decides to portray Izuku and if he can break those walls of stereotypes.

Btw, can you tell me a little bit about Nanatsu no Tazai (or whatever way you write it)? So far, the whole reason why I have been avoiding it is b/c of - don't hate me-  the female main character. I hate it when girls are becoming objects for fanservice (I saw this part where Meliodas was grasping her boobs, -.-). She doesn't give me this boastful and confident aura that I get from other girls such as Sakura or Nami. And can she contribute to a fight? I don't like it if girls get protected 24h. Granted, I've read somewhere that she does help out the seven sins in dire situations, but it's not making strong a impression on me. I'm generally someone who likes action chicks

But I'm willing to give this manga a try b/c it is given a lot of good praise.

It's the mc who has heroic trait.
I will not put ichigo with goku type. He's smart in my book.

The Breaker is good. Well if you don't mind with the ending you could read veritas. It is manwha(korean graphic novel). Korean is know for realistic aproach.

I agree with you on this part totally.

Imao, in order for Sasuke to be a decent human being his character needs to get destroyed and reshaped in fanfictions.

Before the ending, I always imagined how they would reconcile and being Team 7 again. That is what I wanted the kittening Last to be about.

Saw you guys talking about FT, OP and TG and HxH, all of them are good manga and can easily surpass Naruto in terms of plot!  But if you guys really want to get to another scale of epicness, just read beserk. Its a shame that Kentaro Miura behaves just like HXH author.

@NarutoUzumaki01, couldn't she have gotten what she wanted without getting hitched? I mean, she wanted to be closer to Naruto, couldn't have done that by just...being a friend when he needed and not a simple romantic foil?

whenever I think of this video and imagine everything from naruto 699 to afterwards as what gets blasted, I feel like everything is right with the world xD
