Ok. That's good, actually. 

 

This is why I believe there will be a resolution in the manga... the movie is going to show how characters have changed.

I like how neither of Hinata's teammates are featured there. I don't think they even remember which team she's supposed to be part of.

Shino is my favorite character, so the only thing that made me happy about Hinata having a big role in the movie is that maybe he and Kiba would be featured a little more, but it looks like they are just going to be left in the background again, which sucks because they have some of the best new designs.

This brings up the old question that a lot of are probably still asking. Where in the world are the remaining sketches of Sasuke, Kankuro, and Hinata? You go to the trouble of drawing pose-timeskip likenesses of their teams and advertising them like they're the most desireful people of the movie, but releasing some drawings from the original author is not acceptable at this time? It doesn't make sense. We're this far along into the publicity stunts so there's no reason to keep them withheld.

 

Maybe the reason for Kankuro's lack of any appearances is that he's going to have an out of nowhere dark horse role in the central plotline. There's probably some of us who would say that he's more deserving of screen time than Hinata. Part of me is inclined to agree with them.

I didn't really like Shion, because she kept screaming about how Sakura should work on looking more womanly and the whole time I was thinking " B**ch, she's trying to save your @ss, STFU." I don't like it when people are pompous, because of their positions.( especially when their being rude to Sakura.)

OR it can be like how Naruto encourages Sakura to not give on Sasuke...burying his own feelings for Sakura...

Yes! I considered this, too. It would fall in line with how Sakura feels she's undeserving of Naruto's love ("the fool's in love with someone like me"), and maybe she feels someone like Hinata could make Naruto happy, unlike herself who has "made Naruto suffer the most," (her words). It would be very bittersweet. I wouldn't mind something like that. 

 

(then at the end of the movie, after hinata's found her closure with naruto, he'll run off to sakura and, thinking he likes hinata now, says she's happy for them *cue fake smile* but naruto will hug her (or maybe give her a kiss on the forehead? yes i'm still hoping for this) and tell her that he loves her, and only her; that's the way it's always been and that's how it's going to stay)
