The official language of Church? I thought it was Latin considering the fact that 'The Bible' is in Latin as well! I had visited Rome some...two years ago and had been to the Sisteen Chapel. It was such a beauty! The paintings of 'The Creation' by Michel Angelo on its ceiling especially! I've heard that the new Pope is cool as hell XD
Well...Illiad and Odyssey are very much better than the Fairy Tails XD Uh huh! A mix of Greek and Roman mythology! The Pantheon, tasks of Heracles, Records of Plato etc. are interesting as hell!!!
@Firefox
I know right XD
Sure it is, Ancient's Romans language is Latin, which the Church adopted as its official language.
Modern Roman's dialect is a variation of Italian language, it's a regional speech pattern, pretty similar to normal Italian tough, some Italian dialects are closer to Greek and some others are similar to Spanish (but speaking of dialects here is a bit complicated, it has much to do with the Italian Peninsula's history, since up until 1860 Italy wasn't even a country).
