Ma--sashi?
btw Psychox; About Karin being a lie detector, I don't know the details so you could ask Reddragon. He knows. :3
Oh, I was suddenly summoned for quite the information. Here you go:
nothing interesting, i remember this old interview, it was in some first volumes if I don't mistake... He just said that he thought that the story needed an heroine so he created Sakura in order to also make opposite the hero and the rival like Goku and Crilin in Dragon Ball. He also said how found interesting the rivality in Slam Dunk, etc...
And I'm guessing the love triangle followed on that as well. I just hope Kishi has a desire to give his own love plot a proper conclusion unlike what happened in Slam Dunk.
Also, that's quite the photo you found. So that Ma-chan in his formative years. Looks like a rebel... just kidding.

I really need to stay away from narutobase and their pairing threads, they piss me off so much.

His apology to Karin counts because Karin is a lie detector, which proves that he was sincere. She is still angry at him, that hug she gave him was her way of showing it. That may be what made Sasuke scared kittenless!
She's a very fascinating character.
His apology wasn't even the usual "gomen", he said "sumanakatta". Which makes it much more serious.
I do not have a preference for SasuKarin, but this part speaks volumes about how much Sasuke values Karin.
It makes sense for Sasuke to use "sumanai" in this situation. Sumanai(すまない), unlike gomen(ごめん), can express acknowledgement AND apology, So in this case it is more complex than a straight forward "I'm sorry". He says "I'm sorry"...but the context of the scene makes it that he is actually confessing his guilt of betraying Karin (that led to her being hurt) and the implication that he fears losing the relationship he has with Karin. So, the other "layer" of the scene is that Sasuke wants to keep "depending" on his relationship with Karin. It is a crucial type of apology (if that makes sense), and heartfelt. It is the feeling Naruto has to make Sasuke feel in order to save him from his darkness.

Them Uzumaki sure are heavily effective to Sasuke.
But seriously, I can't help but think this pairing could happen though it will be like answered in epilogue, rather than something on-screen like NaruSaku. I don't ship it but I can see why it's something to think about in terms of story.

Which does say a lot considering he didn't do the same for Sakura about anything he had done to her. Nor has even attempted to do. The more you look, the less likely Sasuke cares about Sakura at all.
So, in the end we may see two pairings come to pass. NS and SK.

It's really looking this way. I would say only for NS but lately SK has been questioning me for a while. Again, many moments/evidences are in question, rather than clear. That said there are moments that still makes me question on why, mainly the Uzumaki title on Karin.

@ns4life3g
Just as planned ^^.
Well I want to see sasuke pull kakashi rejection.
Already did. I mean the idea that Sakura already classified it as used to, just like the anime. How would you react if it was true all this time?

So, its true , his apology was all heart , so that proves that he values Karin and Naruto aka the Uzmukais more than the life of Sakura , no surprise there , huh.

This, but why does he need to keep ''depending '' on her , why did even Kishimoto brought Karin and her feelings back without a purpose , i mean maybe she will be of some influence on the plot later on , she has senju DNA more or less ?

Well it doesnt matter. Besides, its not like its from the japanese fanbase
In the manga site I frequent, there'll be Hinata / Naruhina pics in 3/5 of the ads below every page . I'm so sick seeing those pictures over and over again

Just kidding.
Well, as I said, I disagree. He got a lot of "development," but it was really out of wack and has many issues that I find that many hand wave at times. But that's okay, if you think Sasuke's development is fine, that's cool. What I really can't stand is when people just push Sakura to the ground and just utterly bash her and bash her into the ground with how bad her development is, but hand waves every other characters development mistakes or plot forces.
I am going to make a video explanation about this because I feel this needs to be addressed now.
Oh god, don't even get me started lol

Well yeah everyone is entitled to their own opinion in a sensible way. Like, yeah i understand why you say sasuke has bad development, because his development wasnt perfect. But I think the way it was all put together fits and is good, I also feel like his rivalry with naruto wasnt bad. I felt like it was actually rivalry, not the most cliche rivalry but it was good.Just kidding.

Now his apology to Karin is more serious in terms of SK. That's something to take a note of. Of all the moments between them till now, this one is the most important. Sasuke using this word " Sumanai " instead of " Gomen " as they are quite different from each is something not to take lightly... That's Sasuke saying something like that XD
Still, if at the end Sasuke say the same word to Sakura then this apology to Karin will be in category normal concerning SK moments.

I guess you can say it can lead to friendship level if the same expression is used for others. Only time will tell. It's like I said, SK moments are in questioned until proven pairing moment. I remember how people were too confident that as soon as Sasuke enters the battlefield, he will apologize to Sakura. Good times. If it's not happening now or even after the finale, SS is really dead. Still dying since he didn't do that now.Now his apology to Karin is more serious in terms of SK. That's something to take a note of. Anyway, SK still has a lot of moments that should be answered to give a better idea. I mean I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but the Killer Bee fight is their biggest gun, especially the idea that Uchiha gains a new power when a close love (any kind of way) is in trouble or in effect. So yes, this needs to be answered.
Yeah, the Killer Bee fight is something to not take lightly also. Kishi could have done it with Suigetsu and means his friend who is about to die, as in Sasuke seeing a loved one in danger, but, nop, it's Karin. So, with their moments and that's Killer Bee moment that is related to Uchiha's gaining power, it makes SK putted in light and not to take it carelessly.
