it may be just me but im getting tired for the stinking chuunin exams yes i know their important in the naruto story line but change it up a little for your own story, i swear ive read what happens during it i can repeat it off the top of my head. nobody really changes anything always the 3 same exams always the same things happening at the important the beginning middle and end. if i wanted the same thing as the chuunin exams from naruto, i'd read the actual manga.

another thing, i find it hard to read any pairing story that dosnt have sakura in a pairing with sasuke or naruto, she gets bashed to heck, i dont mind a little character bashing but some of this kitten (not just sakura, but sasuke and ive seen naruto get it too) get changed to the extreme where she isnt really herself, i mean ive seem my fair share of other pairing stories where sakura is this big breasted slut who is such a b*tch that makes me stop reading it, or you have a sasuke so evil that orochimaru would quiver in his boots, or so kind that he may as well be naruto(sasuke is kind but some stories put him too much). Fan Fiction are in a sad state i can really venture out of narusaku fan fics because of the amount of trash that is out their, i can find better stuff at the dump then i can in 3/4 of fan fictions.

People who try to use characters without knowing what names of said characters are. I once saw a fic that had 'Minato Yondaime' as one of the lead characters.

Also, I dislike fanfics where the author over uses Japanese phrases. Name suffixes are okay to an extent, as long as they don't go overboard

I hate bad humor... I don't like humor in general and when you just do something stupid, well, you know.

I also hate when people are too......dumb and put it into the right area, I accidentally read a SasuNaru fanfic because it said NaruSaku on the front, and it was NaruSaku for the most part, but turned out on the last page to be yaoi(ewww).

I like yaoi , so long as I know that that's what I'm getting. I hate when people " bait n switch". Its frustrating. But not as much as shippuuden sakura STILL chasing sasuke...stupid writers...ignoring kishi's good character development...*incoherent grumbling*

Sorry, I wasn't trying to bash yaoi, even though I don't fancy it, but my point was due to stupid people putting them in the wrong place I read something I didn't want to read.

Oh, and yes, the shippuuden Sakura chasing after Sasuke is dumb *grumbles with emilykawaii123*

speaking of yaoi, i dont understand Male pregnancy, it scares the living daylights out of me how people write of guys getting pregnant. Ive never read one so i dont understand how they do it but i know it isnt logical. i scares me to think people actually like reading it,

I don't mind it, but I wonder why people never ever go the adoption route! kitten, the only time I've seen adoption in a Naruto fic was a NARUSAKU fic. I mean, Sakura could have all the babies she want and they still adopted. What's stopping Lee and Gaara from doing the same (to be fair, I read this AWESOME Lee/Gaara where that's what they did).

But it really depends on the story. "Oh the kyuubi is a girl/oh the kyuubi grew some ovaries for me" does not cut it. Sorry.

Sometimes I wonder if mpreg is used in place of actual plot/inspiration, or just a strange tool to keep the story going. Honestly, I'm rather turned off by it.

First and foremost, the 'Beat the Demon Brat' plot device. Mobs with pitchforks, massive physical abuse on Naruto before canon starts. This is unsubstantiated, as canon has no evidence of this. You can make the argument for this, but it has to be reasonable. The Sandaime's law isn't just a set of guidelines, after all. Keep in mind that if Naruto had experienced this level of abuse, his mannerisms would be very different. Sasuke and Hinata are the only ones of the rookie nine to experience any form of abuse, mental or physical, and Hinata's is considered minor.

Second, 'Kyuubi attacked because ____ kill his/her kits/lover/pet/whatever' plot device. Kyuubi has basically been shown a nothing more then an animal with a whole lot of power and the equivalent of, if not greater then, human intelligence. Most likely it attacked because it felt like it or because it could. Although knowing Bakamoto, Madara probably had something to do with it using his Deus-Ex-Machinagan.

Third, Kyuubi being Nice/Helpful/Compassionate/HumanMaleForm/HumanFemaleForm/Etc. Kyuubi is a extremely powerful and very intelligent animal, a wild animal that's trapped in a cage. Nuff' said.

Fourth, Bad Guy Danzo. Danzo is a strong Nationalist with the best interest for Konoha at heart. A man who truly represents fighting for the greater good by using lesser evils.

Fifth, The Council™. This is just a weak plot device, that is horribly abused.

Sixth, Sennin and Sannin. Sennin is used as part of Gama Sennin or Ero-sennin, which are for Jiraiya only. Sennin is not a rank and Tsunade/Orochimaru are not Sennin. The three of them together are the Legendary Sannin, I can't recall the word Bakamoto used for Legendary, or the Legendary Three Ninja. Jiraiya is a Jounin, Tsunade was a Jounin before becoming Hokage, and Orochimaru was a Jounin before becoming a missing-nin.

Seventh, Kages. There are five Kages, not one for every village.

Eighth, unrealistic romance. I don't know about you but, an average person doesn't just date one person and magically spend the rest of their lives together. People need to use some common sense when doing romance in fanfictions.

Ninth, the Clan Restoration Act. Seriously folks, this has been abused enough. Find some originality.

Tenth, Lack Of Creativity. Just because you want to give Naruto a sword but because your not creative enough to think up something original or can't mentally grasp the fact that not all ninja need a legendary chakra super weapon, doesn't mean it's cool to just give him a zanpakutō and have him learn Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū from Kenshin.

Eleventh, Japanese Usage. It's cool to use for jutsu, titles, and character names. However, if your going to use Japanese then do some research or ask someone in the know to check and make sure your using it correctly.

not really a hate but i have to question Time Travel stories, i mean being 21 i cant remember everything that happened when i was 13 heck i cant remember everything that happened when i was 18 but lo and behold in time travel fics they seem to remember everything that happened clear as it happened yesterday,

Yup, me too. Especially when they just recently got together. Yes, you could probably cut the sexual tension with a knife, but it's just so OOC! Blech! I've always seen their being - together-ness as something that was worked up to over time, and they would just enjoy eventually getting there, instead of hopping into bed ten minutes after blurting out a confession.

Alot of them I read do that, but at least they give good reasons, and they're both around 25, I mean that alot of NaruSaku haters put up a NS story, make them have sex, and both scream out someone elses name, they should have a major OOC warning.

And what's up with a space or spaces in between a letter and an apostrophe (i.e. Naruto' s). I don't get that.

I've recently discovered my hate for Next Generation OCs. More specifically, their design. What is up with giving them two different hair colors? (i.e. ShikaIno kid has brown hair with blonde bangs, or a NaruSaku kid has blonde hair with pink tips). Le huh? Talk about ignoring the rules of heterozygous alleles...
I usually see that as a warning flag for a crackfic.
Its cool if they have unique hair colors, because the ninja world is just weird like that, but show a little originality if that's what you're going for; don't just add both the parents' hair colors because you can't decide which one you like better. If you're going to mix a NaruSaku kid's hair like that then you might as well give him/her blue eyes with green stripes.

You're wrong on that one. Danzo is a villian- Kishimoto has shown that in the manga. He wanted to make an alliance with Orchimaru to make it easy for him to overthrow the Hokage, double cross Orochimaru, and then take over, putting into effect a ninja training like what they had in Mist. This is not a good person, he is the powerful villian within Konoha. The Third didn't have the power to stop him at all. Tsunade is stronger and has weakened his power base considerably.

Frankly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Kishimoto finally reveals Danzo was the one that unleashed the Kyuubi on the night Naruto was born. It would fit with his MO. Use the attack as a cover for his coup. Too bad for him that the Fourth was able to seal the Kyuubi, allowing the Third to restore Konoha before Danzo could strike. But then Danzo has plan B, use it to turn suspicion on the Uchiha clan, creating the circumstances that leads to an angry, resentful Fugaku Uchiha to plot his own coup on Konoha. Wiping out the Uchiha clan served Danzo's plans- got rid a strong clan that could stop his own coup dead in it's tracks, and left the one living Uchiha who loved Konoha (thus could stand in the way of Danzo's coup plans) forever an exile.

Echoside still ahs a good point though. Danzo is a villian yes this is true. but because he is a villian foesnt mean his motives arent valid in that regards. He has allways ehld Konohas best interests at heart but his methods of doing so range from the dangerous to the utright dispicable.

some of the characterizations ive seen of him leave him little more then another blood thirsty elder with a grudge agaisnt naruto for beinga jinchuriiki.
