Oh my goodness.

Inuyasha would have no pride left if he did the Riverdance. tongue.gif

That new Naruto chapter was great! Now that we're out of the fight, we can expect the quality to go back up with lots of cool moments. happy.gif Next week (gah, possibly 10 days away until the raw) should show the rest of Team Shikamaru, Lee and the Sand - should be awesome. biggrin.gif

Of course... we might find out someone has died... sad.gif

Oh, and my Ranma chapters were shipped out at long last! The only volume they couldn't deliver was 6, it might be a week away. It's going to be hard to avoid skipping ahead to 7... I highly doubt there are any scanlations of 6 out since it's licensed. Oh well.

And sorry, I didn't manage to finish SoF 8 last night. happy.gif;; I was too excited by the new manga, and of course there was an AIM chat between Ash and myself. They always go in an interesting way... tongue.gif

Naruto's birthday on Sunday! Got to try to make something for our hero!

EDIT: Ranma vols 3-10 (but not 6) arrived today! But I have to go to work now... Bugger. sad.gif

Smiter, didn't you pick the 'As few orders as possible' option? That saves you risking skipping ahead, as they shove it into one single order tongue.gif

Yep, Blayze, I did select the "as few as possible" option! The problem was that vol 6 was going to take an additional 1/2 weeks to arrive so they decided it was best to shove the rest over here.

I love Viewtiful Joe! It's such a cool game, perfect for a quick blast on the GC. biggrin.gif I'll definitely be checking it out. happy.gif

I have seen that cartoon Inyasha before cause my younger bro a big fan. I seen a few episodes..............him doing the river dance is just wrong >_< Enspeacly with the mc hammer dance. He would ruin it with his stuberness and his mean look. Hehe, I cant really imagine Inuyasha being happy while doing that dance. Probably would have to force him to do it.

Good to ear that you're getting your volumes of Ranma Smiters! If it's tha Viz edition your almost to the Hiryu Shoten Ha. *grins like a maniac*

Skipping ahead isn't that big a deal in Ranma continuity, there are minor arcs which you can still understand when you read it. There was a site with volumes 18 to 37 of tha manga scanlated but I don't remember where or even if it still exists. If I had a scanner I would send them over to you but I don't. . .sadly. . .

Inuyasha as a rapper, it's disturbing to even think about it. A punk is more his style, someone tough and almost cold hearted (outwardly)

Yeah Smiter you're not missing much in volume 6. Heck most of it is just the introduction of Happosai. A character that's just plain too funny for words.

and yes InuYasha and Miroku SHALL BREAK DANCE!

Happy! The greatest EVIL in the history of perverts! He who collects undies for the sheer thrill of the chase (as well as the enjoyment)

It's a funny part of the manga but I'm more familiar with the french version (weird since my father works where they actualy PRINT the viz graphic novels) and our format is closer to the japanese one then the english one.

(and yes, I did smuggle out some of their books long ago, it was my introduction to the world of Manga. Ranma, Inuyasha and Tenchi Muyo to be precice)

Heading off for my job interview in twenty minutes. Good thing I've got my life philosophy to guide me:-

Never worry before an event, as it will interfere with your preparation.
Never worry during an event, as it will impair your performance.
Never worry after an event, as you can't change what's happened.

I saw people get hysterical before their GCSE exams... sigh. Treated it like any other day, I did. I saw those exams as just annoyances that needed to be dealt with.

GOOD LUCK, BLAYZE! That is a good life philosophy. wink.gif Life is too short to spend it worrying about things.

You sound so Shikamaru in that quote for some reason. XD

Wow, Godai, your father gets to see the Viz mangas at his workplace?

You could ask him if they've got Naruto vol 5 yet. tongue.gif

Sheesh... December is ridiculous. I know they want to show the chapters in their Shonen Jump first, but at this rate it will be YEARS before we can get to where we currently are with the fansubbed manga.

I skipped ahead to vol 7. happy.gif I ended up reading all of the new books until 3am! I had to bite my tongue several times to stop myself from busting out laughing and waking everyone else up. tongue.gif

Mousse, Shampoo, Happy, Ukyo, the Principal, Tsubasa, Cologne, and CAT-FU!

Great, great series. XD I can see how Genma dirtied the Saotome name in your fic, Godai! Silly man...

Ahhh. . . volume seven was the Romeo and Juliet play, wasn't it? If you haven't seen that yet, be careful not to wet your pants when you read it. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I did read it! I loved it to bits. laugh.gif

I kept crushing my lips tight so I wouldn't burst out laughing and wake everyone up - it was about 1AM when I was reading it. tongue.gif

I was going "ppffffttt!!" in laughter so much I was afraid I would be discovered reading late! But I got away with it. wink.gif

And I loved that story about Happosai's Secret Scroll. laugh.gif That scene with Ranma getting inbetween Akane and the old pervert at the spring was so well drawn!

When I get paid this month, I'm ordering 11-20. tongue.gif Probably more as well, depending how finances go... (got to save for Xmas shopping!)

They have probably alreadyu printed the novel but they haven't shipped it out yet. In fact, every graphic novel passes into his hands, he's the one who evaluates the cost of each jobs. As for him being lucky, if he had time to read them on his off time I'd agree but since he doesn't I just consider his job to be a torture.

Romeo and Juliet...3 romeos and two juliets. When I read it, the part with the kiss made me go AWWWWWW, until I saw the masking tape.

The funiest scene I've seen though has to be the golden couple's ark. Sanzenin was a jerk stuck in his delusions who was even worst then kuno.

I know! I also went "AWWW" at that until I saw the tape! Bah, how could you do that to Ranma, Akane? tongue.gif

I love how the Kuno family and Sanzenin are so deluded. The siblings are real morons, aren't they? They don't know Ranma's secret and no matter how many times it happens in front of them they never figure it out!

Well, I'm back. Have to say I didn't do too badly. Because my bus came early and I didn't want to give fate a chance to piss on me and wait for a later bus, I ended up waiting for an hour and a half.

Got asked if I'd sell someone a ciggy (I was going to use the word he used, but I don't think that PARTICULAR British slang word would be acceptable...), had to put up with several screaming babies/children/evil midgets...

When I was waiting, I was okay. I kept looking at the clook and doing the 'Five minutes' trick where you convince yourself that you only have to wait another five minutes. You do this every five minutes and the time seems to go by faster.

Waiting in bitesize chunks wink.gif

Well, I *was* okay... until I reached the REAL five minute mark. From then on, my body seemed to decide it wanted to expend its entire reserve of energy in five minutes of WAYWARD LIMBS.

Feet and fingers tapping, arms shaking slightly... to anyone else it would have appeared that I was petrified. That's one of my body's main defensive mechanisms, the 'DON'T LET THEM KNOW THE TRUTH!' ability.

I'm calm and relaxed most of the time (Even during exams), but my body seems to like fooling people into thinking that I've about to crap myself. Eyes shifting, sweat dropping, body twitching... and I'm here thinking 'Why the hell are those people staring at me?'

Good to hear it wasn't too bad. I hope you hear from them soon, Blayze. happy.gif

Yeah, waiting is always a pain. tongue.gif I don't mind the time, since you can easily occupy your thoughts, but it's the company in the waiting room that can make it unbearable...

Good luck, Blayze!

I just got an e-mail from Amazon - volume 6 is coming tomorrow! *laughs* At least it's fine, because they don't charge you extra on the postage if they have to split parcels. I'll be able to read the Happosai intro!

God, I feel so lazy today. Must have been the 3am bedtime.
