Well Bolt wishes to surpass his father, so I assume if he trains hard enough he could be Kage level when he reaches adulthood. Also, he is a natural prodigy so that helps.
Not sure how his sister will fare
NS4Life has a point. Neither he or anyone else possess any of the unique traits that expedited their growth and heightened their potential to godlike levels. I can't see the spawn attaining any more power that's greater than what Naruto came into during late Part 1 or early Shippuden. Has he shown any of the ingenuity, talent, or skill that Naruto had at his age? Naruto was outsmarting experienced Jonin from the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist when he was 12. How do you top that when your greatest challenge is other weak-minded children from your age group who grew up in the same peaceful era with no opportunity for real world combat experiences?
The generations haven't grown physically stronger, they're weaker, by and large.

That's pretty much James's point; how can the information in the databooks, which have largely been consistent before, be trusted if Kishi has shown a penchant for retconning things practically on a whim in ways that make little to no sense to what had long been established? When you have an author like that, then "show, don't tell" is what readers/viewers look at far more than the words, because words alone are things that the author has already shown to have no respect for, and no respect to the reader/viewer by weakly trying to justify it, by keeping them consistent, and if things were to be changed, to be done so in a reasonable and believable manner.
For example, as brought up a ton of times, it's quite obvious that Kishi is relying extremely heavily on only the "tell" part when it comes to Sasuke and Sakura being husband and wife, by them literally calling each other "husband" and "wife", but not using any sort of "show" by showing them in any real relationship of any kind. On the other hand, we've had a ton of "show" and "tell" prior to the ending that shows the relationship is far from happy and loving or anything.
Thank you. At least there are a few people who get my point.
I know that means older brother. But since we're talking about the child of a specific female character here, it won't be "Oni-Chan".
No, it will be "Oni-kun".

Yes he has actually. He already knows the shadow clone justu and lightning release. All while still a Genin

At this point, and maybe I am just stretching, is Naruto really that smart or the adults really that dumb? Seems growing up in Naruto turns you into a brainless nitwit. Knuckle-headed? I think that is more deserving to Naruto now than when he was a kid.

Eh... Maybe so, but I won't deny that it was an impressive manoeuvre for its time. Zabuza was also occupied with maintaining the water prison jutsu while having a clone out on the field that divided his chakra up. I would say that it was a combination of PIS and genuine craftiness on Naruto's part. I wouldn't expect any like that from the spawn, though. It would require too much brainpower for someone of their inexperienced calibre to come up with.

Elemental natures aren't too impressive to learn. It's just that Naruto developed his at a later time because his teachers needed to teach him the basics first before moving on to anything more complex on top of harnessing the Kyuubi's power. I believe it was shown that Obito could use fire release as an underachieving Genin. The Shadow Clones are impressive, but then we also saw Konohamaru using them at the same age. Having these abilities just proves that he received some measure of good training, not that he's an experienced or intelligent fighter.

I think it might be a bit of both.
Naruto, at least previously, while being far from any sort of tactician or anything, has been known to have a penchant for being pretty innovative and such in on-the-spot situations.
As for adults, I suppose it can vary. As mentioned, the situation with Zabuza at least had elements that allowed things to work better in Naruto's favor. On the other hand, someone like Pein, who you'd think would know how Naruto tends to fight based on Zetsu's spying and whatnot, still falls for the same Kage Bunshin + Henge + Rasengan trick, one of Naruto's oldest tricks, at the very end, making him look a lot more like a moron who got hit with the convenient "moment of stupidity" cliche just to allow Naruto to win.

the artstyle is fugly too. everyone looks ugly
Yeah, I can't believe SP is making their precious next gen kids look so bad... I mean, Bolt's banana hairstyle looks pretty silly in the manga too, but his movie version's... fringe?... being entirely separated from the rest of his hair by the lineart looks just wrong. And don't even get me started on Mitsuki, I have no idea what's up with his eyes in the animated version. Wasn't he supposed to be the bishounen character?
Just compare:
Also you guys think that the movie may end up being more about the old characters than the new ones and... I'd hate that.
I want Bolt's movie to be about him and the rest of the kids, with Naruto and Sasuke as secondary characters, not the other way around. See, I actually do like the majority of the kids, but can't stand the Gaiden versions of Nardo and Sauce. Like, I would be so frustrated if these abominations of the old Team 7 "stole" the movie from their own offspring AKA from the characters who aren't ruined yet (maybe save for Chouchou, she became pretty idiotic in the Gaiden).

Naruto must've dislike his son that much to do something like that. And why is his color theme black and pink? Why not get your mamas color scheme.
And oh my.. so that Himawari do exist and its gonna talk! Creeeeeeeeeeppyyyy!

Won't it be funny it will be like 1 word? Hey, after the last few movies, I don't trust ads. Sasuke got one sentence, ok? One!Why the hell would anyone in their right minds entrust their kid to Uchiha Sasuke!?

*sigh*
I can't believe they're using books featuring "Naruto's Hokage Inauguration" as bait to lure fans to watch the film.
Plus, the fact that Animenewsnetwork said that the books are offered to the first 2 million admissions seems really weird to me......I don't think even "The Last" reached 2 million admissions in japan.
Is SP really expecting the Boruto movie to be more successful than "the Last"....lmao

It didn't reach 2 million. It only barely made 1.5 million. I think the ads are going to be more heavily used in this one than The Last. I think.*sigh*

I'm happy with Bolt's pink/black/white outfit - he already looks like Nardo 2.0, so let him at least have his "own" colors, not his parents'. The only thing that kind of bothers me about it is that pink reminds us all of Sakura... But let's face it, it's an energetic color = good for the MC.

It very well may be so, judging from the rumors about a birthday scene in the extended version of the second trailer. Some fans think it's Bolt's birthday and others think it's Himawari's. But I don't think it would be a long scene (if it's even true), so yeah.

I thought so.
I highly, highly doubt that this film will be as successful (or more) than "the Last". If it does....well..kitten

Yes, around there. They're going to advertise this movie to death now. They're going to outdo The Last. The new merchandise, the ads on Naruto and Sasuke, and so on. It's going to be much more on ads. They only sell 1.5 million tickets?
