It seems weird, then, that Viz announced the ending as November 10 if it doesn't end on that date except in Japan.

We get them early because of illegal websites like Mangapanda. In both America and Japan the official release date will be Nov. 10, we'll just het it early on Nov. 6.

Five chapters huh? How would that be even possible? It does not make sense. Almost every other fight in this manga has lasted more than 5 chapters including that pointless fight against Kaguya.  Now the supposedly biggest fight that this manga has been building up to since part 1 will get done within 3-4 chapters? 

 

If, IF this information is true, I can only see an open ending as far as pairings are concerned.

But I think people should be careful with making assumptions and declarations about what will or will not happen with the chapters that remain.  Remember that people in this fandom are easily freaked out.  

 

None of us knows for sure what will happen, so let's keep calm.

I see. What I do not understand is why the ending is being rushed. I am not familiar with many other mangas..Is this the norm when it comes to conclusion of stories that have been running for years?

 

Its all so sudden. The pacing was very slow during some parts of the war arc. And now the final chapters are being rushed. Its either very poor planning or there is something behind the scenes that is forcing Kishi to wrap up his story as early as possible.

Well, I doubt any pairings will be resolved after these 5 weeks. Best chance is the movie.

I don't think there is a way for us to know for sure.  I agree it does seem rushed, and it doesn't make sense.  Why rush it?  Why artificially force an ending to a certain number of chapters?  Or for the movie when the movie's release was theoretically negotiable?

 

There are probably issues at play -- contracts, pay, other projects, time off, etc. -- that we will will never know.

  I just told my sister, who watches the anime only. She couldn't believe it. Of course I don't discuss spoilers with her and she said she doesn't want to know the ending when it happens.

One thing we do know-  Its a very sad feeling for the hardcore fans.

 

The ending of any long term series is a harrowing experience for fans who have invested so much time and emotions to the series. On one hand, you want to know how all parts of the story come together in the end. On the other hand, you know that its the final moment and there will be nothing more to look forward to after that.  

 

As for me, I am very sad right now. I have been following Naruto for 6-7 years and have become very attached to all the characters. It'll be an unusual feeling to know that there won't be a Naruto chapter to read in the week 

 

Then again, there's the movie to look forward to. Lets hope the movie plot gives a satisfying conclusion so that fans can look back at the series and be content.

my lil brother who`s 8 is always very curious when I`m pumped up or sad about the chapter.. he worries about me so much and shares my happiness or even madness everytime 

 

when it comes to chapter 700 I just need to be very careful with my feelings not to scare him.. but that`s pretty hard, I`ll definitely cry :C

Such good news but I don't see how things will be resolved conclusively whether it's pairings, the SN fight or Sasuke's redemption. The pacing is truly awful.
